I am in love with ALL of the guys in Blue’s potential Prida
HOLY MOLY!!! I am so sad I didn’t have any self control and I finished this series so quickly. At least its only a month until Book 5 ughhhh I might have to reread again in August because I am going through some serious withdrawals haha.
In this books, we get to see the Prida struggle to keep it together while Phillip is babysat and appeased by everyone around him. I cant even imagine what these characters would have gone through if they were real. After being as a group through the events they survived/overcame, to not being able to look or touch Blue or show any sort of affection would be incredibly frustrating and painful. I love seeing the growth in everyone in this book. I am so happy with the ending, I cannot wait to see more of the walls come down with the Prida. BTW, totally had to compose myself before going to work this morning after I got to the big Prida scene. I got teary eyed with how adorable it was and the lengths the guys went for Blue. I usually don’t get into books that much in terms of crying/getting hit in the feels, but this book did and in a good way .
I loved seeing more of the adorable quirks/sides to the characters. I liked seeing the training scenes and again, see the relationships start to form, even between the other men who will be part of the Prida at some point. And Felix with his carvings and the gifts the guys secretly bring Blue! So much swooning its not even funny .
Ok, have to bide my time until August and find another series to binge read to get over this book hangover. PICK UP THIS SERIES LIKE YESTERDAY! Why haven’t you done so already?!?! Each personality brings something to the table, which is why I love reverse harem so much. The Prida won’t be missing anything because someone will be providing that aspects (flirting, levity, seriousness, protectiveness, passion, etc.). Ok, so done with my rambling about how AMAZING this series is .
For a Pixie in Blue was…everything to me. This book was action-packed (as in adventures and shenanigans galore), which was a feat in itself because the previous books were already brimming in action in the first place. On top of that, there are those personal feelings being explored from each character, there’s the rich breakthrough of the reverse harem element and more plot developments aka plot twists. No wonder I devoured the whole thing right after binge-reading books two and three.
Blue…she was everything to me, too. She’s the epitome of wise beyond years. She’s courageous, patient, kind-hearted and so freaking intelligent. She’s my newest fave heroine, btw. (If it wasn’t obvious for you lot). In addition to Blue appreciation, I just want to relate a tremendous realization from me about her.
So I remember a post from the author about how Blue was just your average girl. I admit I kind of narrowed my eyes at that point but I also wanted to admit how a part of me agreed on theory. Hear me out. Unlike most heroines, Blue wasn’t this overblown perfection of a female form nor some kind of a special something. BUT–that was capitalized for an effect–even without POVs from the guys or flowery declarations about the heroes’ devotion and affection to Blue, I could tell in between those lines that the heroes all found Blue the most beautiful in a sense.
What I just want to say is, you’re not special or extraordinary…but it’s freaking okay, too. There, I said my piece.
The heroes, too. They were freaking gorgeous to me. As I’ve said to my previous reviews, I don’t usually find the heroes great individually and as a group at the same time. But this time, I love them all.
-Mo’ata; /swoons, say no more, you freaking deserve that date with Blue (halle-freaking-lujah!)
-Forrest; sweetie pie honey bunch you’re doing great and I appreciate your understanding to the whole multiple lovers thing, you’re like a male version of Blue
-Felix; sneaky af I feel like Blue’s kind of placing him on a high pedestal, though
-Levi; man, no matter how you want to deny it, you’re with Blue (get on it, right freaking now!)
Heck, even Trevon. He just had to spend more time with Blue and try not to rile her much. The same with Jason…if ever. He had a lot of things to ‘catch up’ with but he definitely had potential.
Um, that was review-vomit I guess.
I’m sorry but I’m not going to give away any spoilers of any kind because I’m not the type that does that, well I’m going to try not too that is. So what can I say about this book? Well this book was absolutely completely amazing! So many twists and turns so many surprises that kept me on edge all throughout this whole story. I thought the books before this one were amazing but this one has overshadowed the others. I was torn when I got to the end because I didn’t want the story to stop I wanted to see more which hopefully sometime in the near future there will be more of Blue and her guys. So that is a big HECK YEAH I definitely recommend this book because it’s is awesome! I recommend this book to anyone who looking for a fantastic story to get lost within its pages!
Well the adventure is really taking an interesting turn now. Blue has to go with Phillip into custody in order to keep him sane but this causes are kinds of stress with her other relationships. As if that is not bad enough I swear pretty much everyone else has some kind of hidden agenda going on. Once things come to a head I was surprised at the turn of the adventure and I cannot wait for the next installment as things seem to finally be heating up by this point. If you enjoy a great adventure on an other world then this is the book/series for you. I really enjoyed it so I give it 4/5 stars.
Oh I don’t want it to be over! I just love how these characters have grown and in a sense gone full circle! I couldn’t imagine how all of the drama was going to resolve itself and what turn everyone was going to take. I was pleasantly surprised at the ending! Love this series!!
