Welcome to Everlasting, Maine, where there’s no such thing as normal.Anna Crawford is well aware her town is filled with supernaturals, but she isn’t exactly willing to embrace her paranormal gifts. Her aunt says she’s a witch-in-denial. All Anna wants is to live a quiet “normal” life and run her business, Witch’s Brew Coffee Shop and Bakery. But everything is about to be turned upside down the … down the moment Jackson Argent walks into her life.
Jackson isn’t sure why he agreed to come back to his boyhood home of Everlasting. It’s like a spell was cast and he couldn’t say no. Covering the Cranberry Festival isn’t exactly the hard-hitting news this reporter is used to. But when a local death is ruled an accident, and the police aren’t interested in investigating, he takes it upon himself to get to the bottom of the mystery. To do that, he’ll need to enlist the help of the beautiful coffee shop owner.
It soon becomes apparent things are not what they seem and more than coffee is brewing in Everlasting.

Another HEA in Everlasting
I absolutely adore Aunt Polly! She is not the main character, but without her the town of Everlasting would not be the same. Why her niece would have never met her true love if it had not been for her. This cozy mystery is the perfect addition to the tales of Everlasting. A crime was solved, family was found and another couple discovered their HEA. I can’t wait to read what happens in Everlasting next.
Jackson and Anna meet when Anna’s friend dies under mysterious circumstances. Jackson thinks there’s something wrong and enlists Anna’s help in finding out what really happened. Along the way we meet many interesting characters and at the same time we find Anna struggling with letting her magic work, she’s a closet witch. It seems Jackson’s belief in her and his effort to be truthful with her are enough for her to let go. They make a cute crime sleuthing pair and aunt Polly is outrageous with her own antics.

I am enjoying the featuring a different author with each book in the Everlasting world; getting to know the characters in the town and series as they get to know more about their truest selves
Interesting is the idea of one or more characters as “witch in denial “. These folks are hardly as mundane as they might like to be – and their life in a magical influenced town won’t let them be.
Encounters magical and lethal, alongside personal journeys of discovery and possible romance and friendships
Intriguing and spellbinding!

Reluctant witch Anna meets investigative journalist Jackson who has supernatural abilities of his own. When Anna’s friend George mysteriously dies during a party and an incompetent deputy declares it an accidental death, Anna and Jackson work together to uncover the truth. A lot of unexpected twists and turns made this a fun read. And Aunt Polly! I love her!

Anna knows about but does not accept her “gifts”. Her aunt insists that she
is in denial. All she wants to do is live a normal life and run her
coffee shop in peace. Jackson comes back to town to cover the Cranberry
Festival. Not his most exciting reporting job until he finds a dead body.
With the police not wanting to even bother with the investigation, it’s
left to Anna and Jackson to solve the crime and bring the killer to justice

Book three in The Happily Everlasting Series a well written mystery story that kept me turning pages. Anna Crawford and Jackson Argent’s story of suspense, drama, murder, twists, turns, angst, and romance. I enjoyed reading this story.
Enjoyable, exciting, thrilling and magical. This is a cute cozy mystery with a paranormal twist. Characters are quirky and likable. The storyline is fun and mysterious. The romance is sweet.
It was a good book. It had romance magic and lots of suspense . I did not know who the killer was until the end and I’m usually pretty good at figuring it out which was a plus for me.

Anna Crawford is a witch who doesn’t want to acknowledge that fact. She would rather live a “normal” life as owner of the Witches Brew Coffee Shop and Bakery in Everlasting, Maine. There was a problem with her cranberry supplier and, with the Cranberry Festival imminent, this was not acceptable. While arguing on the phone, she was dealing with Aunt Polly in the kitchen who wanted to use her magic to conjure up the cranberries. Apparently that had not worked well in the past and Anna insisted that her aunt not help!
Jackson Argent in the meantime projected his consciousness into the bakery before it opened and was listening and watching the chaos, unnoticed by Anna. She had been recommended to him to take photos for his news article. He saw by photos hung in the bakery that she had a good eye for taking pictures.
Anna went over to give a free plate of scones to a fellow shopkeeper friend, but he didn’t seem to be around. She saw a box with her name on it, and inside was an old camera she had admired but which he had never let her touch before.
At the meeting of the Sacred Order of Hairy Old Men’s cranberry kickoff, Anna took pictures. A sudden scream had her running to the men’s room where George had some kind of allergic reaction and went into anaphylactic shock. The Detective who spent 4 minutes investigating decided it was an accident and closed the case! But Jackson and Anna were not convinced that he was correct. The autopsy could not identify the green frothy substance nor the source of the allergen. Who would want to kill such a well-loved guy? And why? Is anyone else at risk for murder?? Can Jackson and Anna uncover any leads to solve this case? And what’s going on with that ancient camera??
I loved this mystery! The characters, both primary and secondary, were outstanding! They were personable and friendly and added great atmosphere to the small-town feel. The solution to the mystery was carefully tucked away so that it didn’t spoil the reading experience. The reader is going to love it! This author is awesome and it is so enjoyable to read her well-written books! Grab a copy and judge for yourself!
I love stories set in a food environment, with bakeries being my favorite. This is no exception. With the author’s great writing style making it easy to read and her ability to weave a fun and witty tale, you have another must read. I loved Anna’s personality, and Jackson’s abilities automatically set the scene for a fun time. I loved the people and places in this book!

Somehow Michelle Pillow manages to take me to a different world with every series and leaves me wanting more. Another great work. Loved it from the start. The characters are one better than the other and the story is very well written, loved the mystery around George.

This book is the third in the series but it is the first one I have read. The book had everything you could want: mystery, romance and comedy! I enjoyed the quirky town. I loved both Anna and Jackson and their story. The characters were well developed and I was rooting for a happily ever after.

I just loved this book. I have read Ms Pillow’s works previously so I knew to expect a well written, thoughtfully crafted piece of work, but this caught my imagination immediately. From the entertaining interplay, to the charismatic characters, this book is a wonderful place to lose yourself.
The book blurb states the storyline clearly enough to get you hooked, but the book itself blows you away. The only negative is that you are left wanting more.

Oh; this was a quick read —I am now searching for other books in the series. I enjoyed the humor. Even though rated as paranormal — it was not really paranormal — or not compared to my normal reads. A little mystical; a little magical. A little denial.
I enjoyed it and will look for other offerings in the series.

Loved this book. Love how Anna and Jackson teamed up with the camera to solve the mystery of George’s death. Love how Jackson was honest with Anna about his past and what he could do. Love Aunt Polly as usual.
