A brand new thriller by USA TODAY Bestselling Author Gina LaMannaFor fans of Janet Evanovich, Lee Goldberg, and Kendra Elliot…When a well-known mobster turns up dead—gunned down in the refrigerator at her favorite local restaurant—Detective Rosetti has no choice but to get involved. Unfortunately, it’s not long before a familiar name emerges as a suspect, making this case her most personal one … this case her most personal one yet. The infamous Angelo Rosetti, Kate’s father, is back.
Along with her new case, Kate is forced to balance a cozy weekend with her (almost) boyfriend as she dives deep into the Rosetti family history. However, when romantic dinners turn into stakeouts, her burgeoning relationship stumbles onto shaky ground. If Kate can’t find a way to lock up the hitman who has turned his sights on her, it’s not only her love life that’s on the line…

I am never disappointed when reading Gina’s books. Kate is back and now we find out more about her dad. He’s back and so is a special suit. Russo is around for the weekend to spend with Kate. But when a known mobster is murder, the hunt is on. I loved how the characters are growing and cannot wait to see more of this series!
Loved It
This has quickly become one of my favorite series. I love the characters and the storylines. This time the case is personal. Can Kate set aside her personal feelings and figure out what happened? Pick up a copy and find out.
Kate has another murder case, right when Jack Rossi has flown in to spend the weekend with her. And the case is bringing her back in contact with her estranged dad.
I am really getting into this series. I thought this installment really explained more why Kate is such a workaholic and seems to be pushing everyone away. I must admit I was a bit annoyed by it in the last 2 books. Kate came across a bit cold and standoffish towards both Rossi and Gem and also a bit rude. But now I understand why and – fortunately – Kate seems to get it also, finally. There were some genuine conversations in this book that tugged at my heartstrings. Really well done.
I am not sure there will be more books about Kate, but I really hope so! (2020)
Follow the Money is the perfect title for Gina LaManna’s newest book! Even the cover page has that greenish glow of money, and something more! In this third installment, the Rosetti family history is unearthed, piece by piece in the wake of murder at Bellini’s! How does Kate do it? With a little bit of badassery, her suit boyfriend/not-boyfriend, a couple of unlikely accomplices, and the money trail – of course! To think, all of this takes place inside of what was supposed to be a cozy, romantic weekend…
I loved how Kate’s family history is brought to light in Follow the Money! We’re taken down a path of redemption and family loyalties, not to mention the ever so sweet love story! Gina has a way of teasing the details out, whether it be in regards to the Rosetti’s, her personal life, or the case! Or really, all the above. I particularly enjoyed the epilogue as we get a bit of the closure we need right along with a delectable hope at something more!
What will come next for her family? How will Rosetti and Russo juggle their work and love lives from afar? How long will Gem be content to remain in the friend-zone? I’m ever so curious to find out what case lies in store next for Detective Kate Rosetti! I’d classify this as a cozy mystery at it’s finest!
Many thanks go to the author, Gina LaManna, for providing me a complimentary copy of this title in exchange for my honest review! I’d recommend this to anyone looking for a quick read of a cozy mystery – although I’d suggest starting at the series’ beginning with Shoot the Breeze and Riddle Me This. Fans of Janet Evanovich will surely appreciate LaManna’s style! Order now on Amazon or check it out on Kindle Unlimited!
I love this series so much!
