I looooooved this book. Hot, dirty-talking heroes are always the trademark of Tessa Bailey books, but this one took the cake! My favorite Tessa Bailey book yet!
•Whew, *fans self* this is seriously spicy!!•
The absolute intense, raw, passionate chemistry between Teresa and Will is simply off the charts! The teasing and buildup scenes were incredibly creative and different from one another which made each feel fresh and enticing.
Will is a whole package of smokin’ hot alpha male, right down to his protectiveness and devotion towards Teresa. Incredibly swoon worthy! Teresa is a great character as she almost has to figure out who she is along the way. I enjoyed seeing her progression throughout the story. I did wish she had been a little bit more on the confident side at points, but she has some great moments of triumph that I especially liked seeing. Then there’s Southpaw which UGGHHHH, I fell in love with him immediately, of course, who wouldn’t, and his bond with Will had me and my emotions on a full on rollercoaster.
Very well written, extremely hot and an overall fantastic and fun read.
This is a new author to me, and I will certainly be looking out for her work in this future. Teresa will so anything for her family and when her brother is in trouble this leads her to Will. The chemistry between these two is off the charts. This is a good story which is steamy and with explicit love scenes, which was a tad over the top for me, however if you like this then this is a must read for you.
Just loved
Four and a half stars for Will and Teresa! This story sucked me in from the beginning. I loved Southpaw and what Will was doing for him. I really liked that even though Teresa was pulling a “con” you still saw glimpses of her true feelings and how she was falling in love with Will. The big blow up scene was so gut wrenching and even though Will figured out how wrong he was pretty quickly it still didn’t stop events from taking place. Of course though Will, Teresa and Southpaw got their happily ever after.
Oh wow! I highly recommend this audio. The narrators (MacKenzie Cartwright and James Larceny) did a fantastic job! And James! I hope we see more work from him bc his male and female voice were pleasant. The story was perfect.
Y’all. I love Tessa Bailey’s work. I really do. Follow only reinforces my love for Miss Bailey. There are many gorgeous, swoony, steamy moments in this book but there is simply no overstating the beauty of Will Caruso’s filthy mouth.
This man…the things he says…I mean, you have to read this book.
Tessa Bailey always brings the heat, and this scorcher of a read is no exception. Holy HOTNESS Batman. If you love alpha heroes, this book will not disappoint.
Holy cats – Tessa Bailey is some kind of magician!!! I loved this book. Super hot but SOOOOOO emotional. Loved it.
AUDIOBOOK edition
Saying that I love this book is an understatement. The story is great but the voices bringing it to life are my new voice crushes.
Mr. Larceny’s voice is so perfect for Will’s Alpha personality, with a gooey center that he doesn’t let many see. The way he treats South Paw, his Great Dane, thinking his time is limited, makes him so lovable. I felt his pain finding out who his Father really is. Tessa is a spunky heroine that takes family and their safety very seriously, to the point of making a deal with the devil. I wanted to smack her brother for putting her in that position. The chemistry is off the charts between Will and Tessa and I was fearing for how he will react to her trying to con him, not that I blame him. It all ends well but not before he almost looses her at his Father’s hand.
Ms. Cartwright has a great voice and the ability to change it to fit the characters, male or female. As for Mr. Larceny’s voice… it was insta love for me. Looking forward to more from both.
I really wanted to like this. The story started off interesting enough, but got lost in lust and sex. I really liked how this book started out. A sister willing to do anything to save her brother. But when Teresa meets her mark, she forgets about damn near everything when she sees how sexy Will is and all the dirty things she wants to do with him. As Teresa time grows short to save her brother, she becomes lost in the way Will makes her feel and make herself trick him in order to save her brother.
I wanted Teresa to a bit more stern in her drive to help her brother who was in a dangerous situation. Instead she falls in heavy lust with Will and that is much of the story besides threatening warnings for her to deliver in her end of the deal. I also would have liked to know more about Teresa and how she got her random ass sex fantasies. Will’ s character was a little better because he talked about his business, his mother, and his disdain towards his father. But I was hoping for more with these two characters.
Wow, Tessa Bailey has always written steamy, sexy romances with dirty talking heroes but Follow and it’s hero, Will, makes everything she wrote before look like Puritan romances. The chemistry between Will and Theresa is so scorching that even me, with absolutely no romance reading shame, blushed while reading it doing my lunch break. In addition to the pure sensuality of this book, the overall plot focused on Theresa and Will. She is sent by Will’s criminal father to convince Will to come home. Will, on the other hand, is traveling around the country with his sick dog, giving him one last adventure. Cue tears over the adorableness! As can be expected Theresa quickly and totally falls for the sexy, dirty-talking Will and many steamy shenanigans and role-playing scenes occur. In addition to the sexy-times, this books has adorable dog/owners moments, road-trip adventures, and moments of angst. Over a short time, Will and Theresa really bond and the connection between them is able to withstand the opposing outside forces. I one hundred percent recommend this book for a steamy introduction to the amazing Tessa Bailey!
3.5 stars—FOLLOW by Tessa Bailey is a contemporary, adult, stand alone, erotic, romance story line focusing on film student Teresa Valentini, and financial investor Will Caruso.
Told from dual first person points of view (Teresa and Will) FOLLOW follows Teresa Valentini as she struggles to free her brother from criminal servitude to the man who destroyed their parent’s lives. When her younger brother Nicky gets caught up in the criminal element working for Silas Case, Teresa offers herself up in order to free her brother from potential harm. Enter Will Caruso, Teresa’s target, and the man with whom Teresa will fall in love. What ensues is the growing relationship between Teresa and Will, predicated upon lies and deception, and the fall out when the truth is revealed.
Teresa is desperate to save her brother from a similar fate that befell her parents but our heroine never expected to fall in love. Meeting Will Caruso found Teresa struggling between head and heart knowing that to complete the task she will lose the love of the man that calls to her heart. Will Caruso suspects that Teresa is keeping secret the real reason for her cross-country trek as she heads back to New York-a city with too many painful memories for our story line hero.
The relationship between Will and Teresa begins as a lie –a lie that Will suspects much sooner than our heroine expected. Teresa’s guilt does not outweigh her younger brother’s safety but remains a permanent part of her continuing deception with the man with whom she will fall in love. The $ex scenes are numerous-almost gratuitous- erotic, aggressive and intense but I struggled with the perceived lack of emotional chemistry. Will is a means to an end, and our heroine intends to push our hero towards a path he does not want to follow. Will likes to talk dirty both in and out of the bedroom; our couple play fantasy games throughout the story.
FOLLOW is a slow building, erotic tale of one woman’s struggle between right and wrong, and the potential heartbreak when the truth is revealed. Our heroine’s deception and ruse figures prominently throughout the story-the deception continues to build as the couple falls in love. The premise is interesting; the characters are colourful; the romance is a case of insta-lust between two virtual strangers whose introduction leads to inevitable heartbreak.
