Why run from your troubles when you can fly instead? When Caity Shaw is fired from her first job that doesn’t require an elf uniform, her older sister, Rachel, an event planner, hires her to work a meeting in Dublin. Caity jumps at the opportunity to travel abroad and escape her pathetic life. However, even four thousand miles from home, there’s no avoiding debt collectors, an overbearing mother, … overbearing mother, and haunting memories of a controlling ex.
While in Dublin, Caity suffers a series of humiliating mishaps, causing her to lose even more faith in herself. Caity struggles to earn Rachel’s respect—and to keep Declan, her hot Irish coworker, at arm’s length. Declan repeatedly saves Caity’s butt and helps boost her self-confidence, making it difficult to keep her distance from the charming womanizer. When Declan helps her research her Irish grandmother, Caity discovers the mysterious past of the courageous woman she barely knew might hold the answers to her future.

It was ok, but I don’t think I would continue with the series.
Lousy book. A few chapters was all I could take so I stopped reading
It was ok. I kept waiting for a storyline to unfold.
I couldn’t keep reading it. Made 12% so gave it a good try.
The main character’s behavior, who was supposed to be in her late 20s, was more like a middle school preteen. Absolutely an insult to the readers’ intelligence.
Starts off slow and meanders a bit. Nice story. Heroine a little flaky. Just couldn’t get into it t.
Easy read
I felt the ending was very flat … it was entertaining but the author didn’t make me love the characters
Not much of a plot. Traveled from place to place with barely any description except she was always running late. The most thrilling thing she did was take the wife of the business owner on a shopping trip. I always finish a book I srart but this one took forever to finish.
Not really my cup of tea. Too much feeling sorry for herself. Love interest not well developed. Sorry, I didn’t care for it.
Just too over the top. Everything she does goes wrong, she makes stupid decisions, seems to have little or no real sense of responsibility or obligation, and she’s an unlikable MC.
Couldn’t get past the first four chapters.
Couldn’t hold my interest. There are better ones out there.
after chapter 5 ended the same way the previous 4 did I gave up. It’s only about 146 pages as it is.
Just OK. I get a little tired of the “girl who can’t live up to her sister” theme.
A book has to catch me in its first chapter and this one did not so I could not finish reading it
The book was decent. I thought the characters and conflict were underdeveloped and stereotypical.
not laugh out-loud O.K.
Is ok to read if you are not looking for interesting or sophisticated characters.
Never got past the second chapter. The characters and premise were implausible, even for me, a huge fan of fantasy and sci-fi.
It was okay. Not a bad book to read, but nothing that truly impressed me.
