A deadly disease has spread through the Blooming Courts of Tuatha. The louloudi are meant to flourish for a thousand years before they return to the Earth. Death has been a distant foe for so long, no one spares it any thought. Until now. As sickness sweeps through the kingdom, with the cure always just out of reach, the courts have never been filled with so many blossoms. Even in death, they … in death, they breathe life.
Ila Slystina has been raised in the confines of the Orchidasi Kingdom, wanting for nothing, hidden away like some sparkling treasure, but she dreams of so much more. When she’s caught returning from a forbidden trip, her mother, the Queen, punishes her the only way she sees fit.
Ila is sent on her season far earlier than she should be. Now, she’s being paraded through the twelve courts like a prized cow and she wants nothing more than to escape. But along the way, she just might get more than what she bargained for.
After all, the courts aren’t the only things that must bloom . . .

Is it wrong that I never want this series to end.. IIa is such a powerful wonderful character and I’m jealous of her harem lol
Wow, is the only way to start this. This is third, and let me tell you, it just keeps getting better. You will laugh and cry, don’t worry you still have your action and adventure. Plus this baby packs some heat. It should come with a warning, ” Panties may combust. ” It is well written, great characters, and a beautiful, but deadly world. Can’t wait to see what happens next. You ladies are the best
There is something seductive about this series, even if it is quite confusing at times. Dicot, Monocot and the like – there is little explanation given and a whole lot of catching up for the reader, but its worth it.
Ila is growing by leaps and bounds, and WE finally get to know what she is in this installment, even if just what that is, is a bit unclear. Overall, interesting story and fairly well done. It hasn’t blown me away, but it does linger in the mind.
This books starts on the journey to Sollum. Right from the beginning it has moments that will make you tear up. We get to see two new kingdoms and plenty new animals. This and what Ila is experiencing is changing her. Through her changes some may not like what they see and those closest tool her have to deal with their own issues while protecting their queen
keeps getting better!
This book finds Ila on her way to Sollum, a land full of conniving, cutthroat louloudum and dangerous, poisonous plants and creatures. It’s a brutal and eventful trip for all. This book is a pivotal book for the series. A transition of sorts. There’s a lot going on in this book that continues the story so far and paves the way for the next two books. So much sadness, but also love and happiness as well. New characters are introduced, we learn more about some of the old characters with new insights and personality. There’s a couple major developments that I can’t wait to see how they play out. This was a gut-wrenching book for me. One that has continued to stick with me several days after finishing. I want to start at the beginning again while I wait for the next installment. These are characters living in a world that stays with you. Definitely a must read series.
Ok so, if you’re reading this review you’ve probably already read book one and two and if you haven’t you need to go do that RIGHT NOW!
Did you do it? Did you read them? Are you back? Ok now lets talk about Flourish; Ila is still on her forced season but being forced to leave home was kind of a blessing in disguise for her. She gets away from her crazy mother, meets new people *this is me wiggling my eyebrows up and down if you know what I mean* and is able to finally see the world as it really is. She always knew about pain but she didn’t realize how much suffering there was.
In this book Ila experiencing heartache and atrocities that she’d never expected to happen.
On this journey Ila receives so much love, understanding and welcoming that she never hope to get but at the same time she seems to be losing parts of her life that she never wanted to lose.
She meets some very very interesting people on her way (and i’m hoping one in particular shows up again).
As expected, I loved this book even more than the previous ones and I am scared to think how much I’m going to love the next book and how much I’ll dread finishing the last book and saying goodbye to the characters and this beautiful world. This is one of the best series I have ever read, and I am exploding with praise and can’t find the words, all at the same time.
Ila is continuing with her season and growing as a person and as a future ruler. Her compassion is limitless, as is the amount of love she can give to those who deserve it. However, her naivete does get her in trouble at times. But that is mostly due to the pureness of her heart, and the desire to see only the good in those around her. Fortunately for her, Olis is always watching her back. And the big Brute is seriously growing on me.
Unfortunately, not everything is happy and colourful in life, and Ila learns this the hard way. Some of the experiences change her, however, nothing takes away her compassion and love for life and her people. There is sadness and there is happiness in this book, perhaps more than in the previous two. Probably because this is the first time that Ila is faced with the full extent of the devastation caused by the illness. I cried a lot, I’m not going to lie, but I also smiled a lot and laughed at times.
It is also interesting to follow the journey of Ila’s human mates and I can’t help but wonder about their part in this story. It is a mystery I can’t wait to uncover. As I already mentioned, I love the series more and more with each book and I am dying to find out what happens next, and at the same time I don’t want it to end. I love this series with all my heart.
Books need to be read in order: Resurrect: A High Fantasy Reverse Harem (The Blooming Courts Book 1), Sprout: A High Fantasy Reverse Harem (The Blooming Courts Book 2), Flourish: A High Fantasy Reverse Harem (The Blooming Courts Book 3), Emerge: A High Fantasy Reverse Harem (The Blooming Courts Book 4), Blossom: A High Fantasy Reverse Harem (The Blooming Courts Book 5).
First, I feel like I should mention that I absolutely love the blooming courts series. Kendra and Poppy have built such a beautiful world full of unique characters that you can’t help but fall in love with. This particular installment was heartbreaking. I found myself in tears at several different points during the book. Ila is the light in a world of darkness but she is put through so much heartache. I only hope that by the end of the series she gets the happy ending she deserves. The cliffhanger just about killed me and I am anxiously waiting for the next book.
I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. I couldn’t put the book down. Ila continues to amaze me with the young woman, queen to be, she is becoming. This book – so many emotions. I was happy, angry, I cried – yes, I really cried, held my breath and fell in love with yet another king. The way that each kingdom was described, I felt like I could close my eyes and be transported there. The way that Ms. Woods and Ms. Moreno described the different characters – I felt like I could really see them. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.
This entire series has been amazing! The continuation of character arks and revealing backstories fills this installment with intriguing twists and heartbreaking revaluations. I do feel I should disclaimer there is a rape attempt that could be triggering but, it was well dealt with and in the big picture of the story line it was a needed catalyst for several other events. It ends on a major cliffhanger with several story lines waiting to continue. I can’t wait to see what happens next. So many questions and thoughts on how things could go. Ahhh I need book four stat!!!!
This is shaping up to be my all time favorite series ever!!! This third book broke my heart. I found myself in tears on several occasions. The emotion the authors put into the writing of the Tuatha princess and her companions is beyond anything I’ve ever read. It wasn’t all sad though. There is so much snark and laughter as well that it reminds me of a roller coaster. I LOVE Rollercoasters and I loved this book. I absolutely cannot wait for the next book in the series. I want to follow Ila wherever she goes and immerse myself in the world the author’s created. I feel as if I know the characters and every word makes me want to know them better.
This book like the prior two kept me enthralled all the way through. Kendra and Poppy do an amazing job pulling you into the world of the Blooming Courts and making all the characters personable. So loving this entire series and cannot wait for more! Though be prepared to shed some tears in this one
