A realistic and intriguing murder mystery set in a national park. Loaded with mystery, snarky dialogue, and drama in some very vivid scenarios. First time reading a book by this author and was pleasantly surprised. Well written and great characters.
This story could have been real, I am not sure it wasn’t. I really enjoyed the story and thought I was reading a true crime story. I loved the island and park history that was included and how this was based on a real place. It added so much to the story to have that reality.
The characters are great, smart and interesting. There was never a dull moment and I was just as intrigued as to the murders as the main characters. There was a nice balance between the action and mystery and the lulls to pull the reader in. I liked the way the plot was structured and how it was laid out. I really want to say more but I think this story needs to be read with no spoilers of any kind. I will just say that it is beyond realistic, interesting and addictive.
I didn’t think I was going to get my answer and I was impatient to turn the pages but the story wrapped up nicely and I was wholly impressed over all. I will be reading this author again in the future.
Mystery, Intrigue, and Romance just a few of my favorite things in a book…
Flotsam and Jetsam were full of great characters, wonderfully descriptive writing and a plot I seriously enjoyed.

This is a new Author to me a well written book that had me on the edge of my seat I had to know who did it. There is mystery, murder, suspense, drama, drugs, family, friends, a book I found myself at times smiling at something. I recommend.
I liked the fact that this book took place in an unusual setting, an actual National Park on a Florida Island, and that the main characters were park rangers. I’d place this somewhere in between a cozy mystery and a thriller with some romance added to the mix and a story that kept me guessing.
this was a really great book! there are three bodies and now they must find out why they died and who killed them. plus she has two men after her. one is good the other is a bad boy. read to find out what happens.
I have long heard it said that the US Parks system is a close knit community.
