This is a full-length, standalone, contemporary romance.
OK, fine. I’ll confess.
While my house was being robbed, I was in the shower indulging my favorite Brad Pitt fantasy (the one with the Troy costume and the handcuffs.)
But where is the justice in the world when the first cop on the scene is the former bully next door? How dare that arrogant jerk grow up to be six-foot-three inches of solid … six-foot-three inches of solid muscle with gorgeous blue eyes!
I can’t stop thinking about him. Or his handcuffs. Or his dirty mouth. Or the way he still likes to boss me around these days, only with a lot less clothing.
(Another confession—I like it now, too.)
But we’re totally wrong for each other…aren’t we?
“Floored embodies what a lighthearted read is supposed to be. It is the perfect blend of humor, sex, and heart. I absolutely loved it.” — Claire Contreras, NYT Bestselling Author of Kaleidoscope Hearts

Floored (Frenched #3) by Melanie Harlow – Erin is embarrassed to tell the police about her activities at the time of her home invasion, but Police Officer Charlie seems to know. When Charlie offers to help at her dance studio, it kicks their acquaintance-ship into a whole new gear. Loved the series! Happy Reading!
This book was unexpectedly funny, that it immediately became my favorite book from Melanie. Erin is hillarious, the writing is hillarious and the MCs’ relationship is just awesome. This combo of fun, romance and sexy time is what makes a book page turner and must read.
You will have such a good time while reading this book, Trust me!!
Confession: This couple is the hottest so far!!

I loved this one !! It may be my favorite.
You know when you get that feeling something is going on and you just can’t put your finger on it !! Yep. It happened. And I loved it!!
This one is sweet and sexy. The perfect combination. I loved there smart mouth conversations!
Melanie will always be one of my favorite one click authors. I just wish I didn’t wait so long to read these !!
This is probably my favorite in this trio of books. I blame the fact that Charlie Dwyer is a cop. And there’s just something about a man in a uniform that gets me every single time.
Erin is the friend of Mia and Coco. She’s the odd man out after watching her two best friends fall in love. And now she wants her turn. I mean, those two found love in the most random places and the weirdest times, so why couldn’t she find love?
Charlie is the officer on duty when she reports a burglary. He remembers her and quickly she remembers him–not too fondly either.
And that’s where it gets good. They have a great chemistry, easy banter, and they rock it in the bedroom. Or, you know, wherever they happen to be when the desire strikes.
This was one of those feel-good romances that’ll have you fanning yourself and looking for a cool drink to calm down. Melanie Harlow has hit it out of the park with this dirty talking cop.
Another great read from Harlow! Steam with heart!
I’m going to be honest…I am sitting here crying over this book. And it’s not really just the book itself, it’s the fact that it’s the last one in this series and I feel like my best friends have all moved away and I will never, ever see them again. But luckily this is not the case, because I will be able to pull these books out and read them all over again, whenever I want. And I might just do that with Frenched and get my Lucas fix.
I absolutely adored Frenched, my first Melanie Harlow book, it was my number one book from 2014. I loved that we got more Mia and Lucas in Yanked, and was so happy the girls got their own books!
Floored is the final book in the series and it’s now Erin’s turn to find her HEA. She had me laughing right from the start, I love this gal. The opening scene was probably one of the funniest starts to a book I’ve read- it set the stage for what was to come.
After her house is broken into the cop who shows up to take the report in none other than Charlie Dwyer, her childhood nemisis. But is Charlie still the same bully he was as child, just all grown up in one hotter than hell package?
His still teases her and taunts her, but he’s not the mean kid he once was. Although Charlie does have something going on in his life that he’s hiding, and because of that he doesn’t open up to anyone, he fights the idea of Erin but can’t stay away. He doesn’t date, or do relationships, but won’t come clean to Erin why. She tries her best to accept their “friends with benefits” situation, without falling for Charlie. But all the while keeps getting confusing signals from him.
But as we know things like that can only go on for so long before feelings start to change.
Most of the book focused on the push and pull of their “relationship”, with Charlie pretty much fighting anything serious. Until he realizes Erin means more to him than just a fling. But then Erin finds out his secret, and not from him, which leads to the some drama between the 2 and soul-searching on Erin’s part.
I really loved these 2- it wasn’t a case of insta-love, more insta-attraction and the lust was definitely there and the sexy times, those were some really sexy times! Charlie was giving Lucas a run for his money in my book!
The epilogue was just awesome, and I loved (view spoiler)
I really am sad to see this series come to a conclusion. Melanie did an amazing job writing characters that were so easy to fall in love with and care about. I cannot say enough about all these books. And if you haven’t met Lucas yet, go read Frenched!
