Flock of Wolves delivers a powerful message through its characters, especially Sydney Rye, a woman with the strength and courage to do what is right, even though it may cost her everything, including her life. Once again bringing together many of the characters from Emily Kimelman’s previous book, “In Sheep’s Clothing”, each of their point of view and experiences adds to the power of the message.
Flock of Wolves is packed with action that keeps you reading. It is fast paced and filled with turns that keep you engaged in the story. I’m looking forward to reading the next Sydney Rye to see how this story moves forward.
OMG I am one of the lucky ones who receive the ARC copy (I also preordered it) to read, look for typos, etc. Well let me tell you…I finished it a few days ago with tears rolling down my cheeks (No spoilers here-just because I cry) and needed the time to process what I had read. Now I had just finished reading the previous 9 Sydney Rye adventures because I was needing me some Sydney Rye and tore into A Flock of Wolves. Needless to say I wasn’t disappointed nor did I want it to end, but alas all good things must end and now I can’t wait for number 10. Then, and here’s the best thing ever, I saw that the author and her editor were coming to Miami (about an hour and a half due to traffic from where I live) so I got to meet them! What a treat that was. But I’m getting off the track – so back to my review – I love, love, loved Flock of Wolves. We caught up with a lot of the previous characters and then a surprise cliffhanger (in my opinion). I cannot wait to see where Emily Kimelman goes with it. So until then, I’m gonna hang in there.
Bravo Emily! Another excellent book in this series. A must read! Sydney is a character that is so intense, she’s a warrior. Stories well told by the chatacters, which were easy to follow. A real page turner.
Another great addition to the Sydney Rye series. Couldn’t put it down!
