Love is so overratedMaya never expected to get kissed when she walked out in her ratty old hoodie (and nothing else) to get the mail. But when a shirtless god jogs down your street, grabs your face, and kisses you… you kiss that man back! Cooper is on a mission to find the love of his life, and he’s gotten desperate. Over thirty years old with more money than he could spend in his lifetime, he’s … money than he could spend in his lifetime, he’s ready to spoil and love his soul mate. After hiring the beautiful woman he kissed on the street as his realtor, he’s convinced that fate has led him to her.
Maya doesn’t buy into fate and definitely doesn’t want something serious. She’s not ready to become one of her baggy-eyed friends who all have two or more kids and one or less husband. But when Cooper challenges her to a week of living the married life, Maya dives in headfirst thinking she’s sure to prove that singlehood is really the way to go, even if she does end up falling head over heels.

This book was a easy to read and a entertaining book.
Very good read. I even went and got the next book in the series.
After trying to connect with the characters, I gave up
Fun good read.
fun read
A funny realistic romantic story, with a wonderful plot, setting, and likable characters.
Romantic, yes. But the greatest asset of the book is its humor. Such realistic kids!
liked it
Funny
This book was funny and sweet. I loved Cooper so much. His lack of filter had me rolling. Maya is funny but the further I got into the story, the more she annoyed me.
good relaxing read–
The dialogue and storyline of a 30 year old realtor who meets an outgoing billionaire who wants to buy a home for his future wife and family. She has 2 cats and lots of friends and family but no interest in marriage. It is almost sad at the end but does end happily.
A make-believe marriage is a rather unconventional method of discovering love.
A kind of foolish story, mostly sex.
This may entertain a19 year old. At 70 I’ve read thousands of books and this one was tedious to get through. Sappy and predictable. Sorry, no thumbs up from me.
Well that was an interesting read. There were times I was totally into it and others where it was easy to become distracted. This isn’t a bad read it’s just a lot of internal dialogue which isn’t my favorite type of read. This is only my second read by this author and I figure with how much I enjoyed the other read I would just pony up and try it again. I did like her characters and their banter but there wasn’t much of a plot even though there is some drama. What do you do when you’ve begun to believe the lies you’ve told yourself for years only to find out it’s for real? Life choices which become life realities. Some hard choices have to be made by both parties. The two of them are fun to read especially when they aren’t agreeing. Have fun with them and treat it like the beach read it is and you’ll enjoy this read.
Great Story ,I enjoyed this story it was so exciting and also very heartwarming and funny.
I can’t wait for the next book to come out!!
Great lite read
Really enjoyed these unusual characters!
Couldn’t get past the first 50 pages before I realized this book is too ridiculous to spend my time reading it.
I got “lost” in this highly-entertaining story and thoroughly enjoyed the quirky characters.
