When first impressions happen twice.
Welcome to Seattle, the Emerald City and home to The Single Dads of Seattle. Ten sexy single fathers who play poker every Saturday night, have each other’s backs, love their children without quarter, and hope to one day find love again. This is Atlas’s story …
Single Dad of Seattle, Atlas Stark is in over his head. A widower, he’s been left to raise his … head. A widower, he’s been left to raise his daughter, and his infant cousin alone, while also trying to make partner at his law firm. If things at work weren’t stressful enough, his home life is getting hairy too. His daughter’s acting out, eager for her father’s attention, and she’s taking it out on the baby. Already stretched too thin, he’s one frayed strand away from snapping. Desperate for help, he takes her to see a therapist. What he doesn’t count on is her being a tall, blonde knock-out with sapphire eyes and penchant for motorcycles. Too bad she annoys the crap out of him.
Tessa Copeland’s life has never been easy. With a chronically ill mother, she was forced to grow up quicker than most. A successful art therapist, she’s determined not to let her baggage set her back. Until her fiancé cheats on her and takes her dog. She’s never brought her personal life to work, but she can’t stop thinking about the father of one of her clients, or the fact that he’s an assuming jerk with a smolder that gets her engine running. But things grow blurry when she finds herself seeking legal counsel from the broody Atlas, and even though the two continue to butt heads, their chemistry is undeniable.
Will flirting with the single dad lead Tessa down a dangerous road riddled with potholes and blind turns? Or will it be exactly what they both needed to finally feel whole again?
**Note: This book can be read as a standalone. It includes lots of steamy scenes, cursing, and of course as with all my books, this has an HEA and no cliffhanger or cheating. If you like single dads who take charge, this book is for you.

Another great Single Dad’s of Seattle story. That s one is about Atlas and Tessa. Wonderful storyline. I loved the characters. Aria was completely adorable. I liked how it dealt with the very real possibility of Alzheimer being in her genes and the way she took control to help. Just so well-written. I can’t wait for Liam’s story. Definitely recommend this book, this series, and this author

I have to say, I love Whitley Cox’s world-building! 9 – count them 9! – books into The Single Dads of Seattle series and I’m still looking forward to where she’s going to take them next!
After reading about Atlas in the previous 8 books in the series, I’m not gonna lie, I was really looking forward to this installment. Cox did not disappoint! I may or may not have a thing for “quiet brooding” alphas.
One of the things I love about Cox is she isn’t afraid to take on the hard bits of life in her stories. Atlas is facing a lot of challenges and isn’t really coping as well as he thinks he is, as illustrated by his 3-year old acting out.
Tessa is struggling with dealing with a cheating ex-fiance that’s taken something she dearly loves when he leaves, and it’s not her heart.
One transposed number later, a text intended for someone else ends up delivered to Altas, and they find themselves forming a friendship. I really loved how Cox developed that relationship in parallel to the one “in-real-life” that Atlas and Tessa find themselves in.
I don’t want to spoil the fun, so you’ll just have to read the book to see where Flirting with Single Dad leads.
This book was gripping, well written & the chemistry between the characters sizzled throughout this wonderfully hot read!
Well done Whitley. I look forward to more!
What a sensationally new book in the Single Dads of Seattle from Whitley Cox. Each book has heart, passion, and twists and Flirting with the Single Dad is no different. Atlas is dealing with grief ten fold and attempting to raise two little girls on his own. When his daughter struggles with sharing his attention he looks for a therapist to help them both adjust to their new normal. Tessa is a therapist dealing with her jerk of an ex fiancé. When Tessa and Atlas meet they can’t stand each other. But as things begin to escalate with her ex and therapy makes a difference in his daughter’s life, they form a friendship and bond that neither expected. Flirting with the Single Dad is a heartwarming book filled with grief, drama, heartache, passion, friendship, healing, and love. This is a captivating must read that readers will fall in love with. I can’t wait for the final book in the series.
“I voluntarily reviewed an ARC copy of this novel.”

One text to a wrong number and it is fate
Flirting with the Single Dad is the ninth book in The Single Dads of Seattle series. Now that I have read a few book by Whitley Cox in this series I think I have her storytelling rhythm down. This book is a sweet, fun and heartwarming story that also has some tragedy. Then add in a wrong number text, a stressed out single dad, a rat ex and a stolen dog and you get the picture.
I thought the author did a really wonderful job with with nicely written book, an entertaining story-line and great characters.
I received an ARC of this book from the author for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.

One of the best single parent books.
Flirting with the Single Dad is my first read by Whitney Cox and it pulled me in immediately. Atlas and Tessa pulled me in with their banter and how opposite they were from one another.
Atlas is a single dad just trying to find his footing raising his three-year-old daughter and his cousin’s baby. He recently lost his wife so going through the motions and trying to keep his daughter from hurting the baby has taken its toll on him. Insert Tessa who is also going through drama and you have the perfect story.
Tessa is going through a terrible breakup and is not only focused on her job but also getting her dog back. Tessa has had it rough over the past few years so when Atlas enters her life she tries to sort through it all. Although they did not meet like they originally thought, they could not be more perfect for each other.
Flirting with the Single Dad is just what I expected it to be. There was the right amount of drama, angst, romance, and chemistry. Atlas pulled me in with his need to fix everything as well as his need to be a better father.
This book was everything I expected and more. Single parent tropes are one of my all-time favorites, so finding another author that writes within this trope just makes me gitty. I cannot wait to read her backlist and what she has coming up.
I highly recommend this series!!
I liked the beginning of the story with the misdialling idea – it got me reading and wondering what would happen later.
I liked the characters and the kids were quite adorable.
The style was easy and very readable, too.

Atlas and Tessa…what a wonderful story! There is so much emotional pain for Atlas and his daughter to work thru. Add in another child, career, loss, stress, self doubt, heat, chemistry, attraction, lust and love.
So many things many of us deal with on a daily basis but still showing how love, respect and support can bring happiness and new beginnings. Loved it!!!
This book hooked me from the get go I just couldn’t put it down I fell in love with these characters and omg what a story just a perfect

This has really been one of my favorite series the past 2 years. I feel so invested with these characters & when I saw Atlas was getting a book, I was just so excited! I really enjoyed getting to know more about Atlas. He’s always been so grumpy in the other books and I loved seeing him open up and fall in love. Tessa was so overwhelmed! She had to deal with her evil ex, her mother, & getting ready for her dissertation…I was just so happy that she was able to find something that brought her joy. This was another great book to add to this series!
This is such a great series. I have loved each and every book in this series and always looking forward to more. Each book can be read as a stand alone. Such a great series, that I recommend going back and reading all of the books in this series. Looking forward to Liam’s book.
This book revolves around Atlas and Tessa. Atlas is a widowed father trying to raise his daughter and cousins daughter. He finds himself needing the help of Tessa with his daughter but doesn’t realize that her help is going to cost him his heart.
Super strong story line, awesome characters, engaging dialogue, and easy to visualize detailed descriptions. Written as a 3 person, multi pov with a HEA ending.
Would I recommend this book? Yes!
Would I read more from this author? Yes

I enjoyed this new “Single Dads of Seattle” story! Great characters and wonderful story-line! The plot and characters really sucks you in. Atlas and Tessa are so perfect for each other even it takes them a while to get there. I think fate and a little bit magic are in the works. This story is fun with some sweetness, drama and sexiness. A nicely weaved story from beginning to end.
We are nearly at the end of this wonderful series about 10 single father s who live in Seattle and get together to not only play poker but to support each other with their children and in life in general We have rode along as each member has found the HEA and now it is Atlas Stark
Atlas is the silent member of the group he never lets his feelings show He is struggling not only has he is own daughter to raise but he has also inherited his cousins child as well, plus he is a up and coming future partner at the law firm he is working at. Something has got to give especially as his eldest daughter starts to act out and it is against the baby. He takes Aria to a art therapist that one of the dads recommends and in the process meets the woman that may just change his life. Tessa Copeland hasn’t had an easy life she spent most of her child hood caring for a mother who was always ill and now her boyfriend has cheated on her and stolen her dog and she has had enough so she decides to text the girlfriend he cheated on her with and have her say The only problem she actually sends it to stranger by mistake Then she meets At;as and realises that he is also one of her patients parents Can they have a future together You will have to read to see
Continue to love this series so much! This installment focuses on Atlas and his story from single dad to HEA. After the death of his wife and taking on the role as caretaker for his cousin’s child, Atlas is burning both ends of the candle and is drowning in a combination of grief and being overwhelmed. He hires Tessa to help his daughter adjust to all the change going on in her life, and it ends up being the best decision he’s ever made. Tessa just went through a terrible breakup that she didn’t even see coming, and accidentally texts the wrong number – who happens to be Atlas! Once the pair finds out who the other is in relation to the texts, it’s full speed ahead to get to know each other and take things slow. I love that Atlas helps Tessa with the aftermath of her breakup and realizes his feelings and how normal they are after being widowed. Whitley throws some twists and turns into the storyline that made it that much more enjoyable and in the end it really helped with character development and understanding. Loved this read – and I’m SO EXCITED for the next installment that involves the infamous Liam and Richelle!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Flirting with the Single Dad was a great read and is about one of my ultimate book kryptonite’s a single dad and adorable kids! Atlas was an incredible widowed dad to not only his 3 year old but he was also raising his cousin’s baby. Tessa was an amazing heroine who I absolutely loved from the very start. I really enjoyed this book and recommend it to anyone who wants to escape into a great story.

Tessa and Atlas “meet” under interesting circumstances and then meet again under new terms. When Tessa finds out her fiance is cheating on her she texts the other woman but instead she unleashes on an unsuspecting Atlas. The next day Atlas takes his daughter to meet her new therapist, Tessa. Without knowing they are the same people Atlas falls for his phone girl and his daughters therapist. When the truth comes out they are both relieved and beging a relationship all while Tessa is dealing with her dog stealing exfiance and her mothers alzheimers as well as fears of her own future. Atlas is coping with his wife’s death as well as two little girls one of them not adjusting well to her new normal. Throughout it all they remain strong in thier relationship and become one anothers strength. This book was a fabulous read and Atlas and Tessa were amazing together. I can not wait to read Liams story next.

A fun yet emotional read. There were moments of witty conversation, steamy intimacy, anger, hurt, pain, and love. Tessa was a bit crazy with anger and fear, but she had the strength to do right by Aria, Atlas’ daughter. Her love for the children made her special to me. Atlas was in so much pain that he had stopped really living. His pain was quite real, but his protective instinct helped him come out of his low to help Tessa and find love. I loved the supportive base in all the Single Dads to help these two come to an HEA. I recommend this story.
