SPELLBINDING LEGAL THRILLER FROM EDGAR NOMINEE PAUL LEVINE“I was sitting at the end of the bar sipping single-malt Scotch when I spotted the tall blond woman with the large green eyes and the small gray gun.”The next thing Jake Lassiter knows, the woman pumps three bullets into the man on the next bar stool. Lassiter, the linebacker-turned-lawyer, has a new client. She’s a stunning South Beach … client. She’s a stunning South Beach model; the dead man is her wealthy father; and the murder case is a slam dunk for the prosecution. Or is it?
“I’m a huge fan of John Grisham, Patricia Cornwell and James Patterson, and now I’m able to add Paul Levine to that list. I honestly couldn’t put the book down.” – Amazon 5-star review

Good read
a very, very slow read, too much description and not enough action or conversation
Love, love, loved this book. Don’t pass up on reading it. Wonderful page turner
Good to the last drop. Very enjoyable.
I always enjoy Paul Levine’s books.
Another of the Jake Lasseter reads. Suspenseful and humerus.
Good read. The story is well paced and keeps your interest
always a good read
Levine’s Lassiter never disappoints.
Great story line. Loved the main character flaws and all. Can’t wait to read another book in this series.
Interesting reading, but I had it figured out in the first half.
One of the best, if not the best Lassiter books so far, even with the obligatory sex between Jake and his female client. Chrissy, a stunning model who was molested as an early teen, shoots her father in a bar believing that he was the molester. All is not as it seems, but Jake ultimately figures out the truth and through great cross and a risky …
Suspense really builds. Slow at first.
Good but some extra unnecessary dialogue
Love Paul Levine Books !!!
I always enjoy Paul Levines books, especially the Jake Lassiter character.
The ending to this book…. WOW! Not one but TWO plot twists. Always love Jake Lassiter books… He reads more like a gumshoe than lawyer which to me makes him more relatable, but when it’s time to win the case, Jake pulls out all the lawerly tactics!
Great court room drama. Love the characters in Paul’s books. I have read them all and can’t wait until he writes again.
the plot is a mess, not even remotely believable.
I’m always happy to find a Paul Levine book I haven’t read yet. I hate most real life lawyers, but I love his! The family relationships are quirky and true, and since I lived in Florida for a year, it makes me happy I left.
The plot in Flesh and Bones was different, and for once, I didn’t see everything coming the way I do in most mysteries. …
