LeviIt’s no secret I was born from money. And I’m destined to take over the family business, King Cosmetics when my father retires. At least that was the plan. Until my father decided to impose some stupid rule about being married before I take the reigns. Everything I’ve worked for hangs in the balance and the future of the company is in jeopardy without a King behind the controls. I never … never considered Becca part of the plan for taking over, but when one kiss leads to so much more, I can’t help but wonder if she’s the answer to my problem.
Becca
There are two things I love – my beauty blog and Levi King. Coming from the same social circle has given me ample opportunity to crush on the next generation of King Cosmetics, but he made it clear a long time ago that I would never be anything more than “like family” to him. Feeling the need for some serious changes in my life, I start shaking things up. It wasn’t part of my plan to kiss Levi, but one kiss could never be enough. When that kiss turns into a relationship and I find out that Levi’s been keeping a secret, I begin to question if our love affair was too good to be true.
Looks like we’re about to find out if we can truly build flawless foundations for the rest of our lives. After all 425 Madison is the perfect place to fall in love.

Lauren Helms has been very involved in the 425 Madison Series both as a contributing author, Boyfriend Maintenance in Season One and Flawless Foundations in Season Two, but also co-founder of Forever Write PR, the publishing company promoting the series. Boyfriend Maintenance was a 5/5 propeller hit for me so I was very excited to read Flawless Foundations. Grab your after-work glass of wine and let’s chat about Flawless Foundations by Lauren Helms.
Levi King was once considered the heir apparent to King Cosmetics. After deciding that a marriage should be based on something more than a business decision, Levi called off his engagement to a perpetual cheater. His father’s disappointment has left Levi’s position in the company precarious at best. Retirement is coming but in order to prove that Levi is capable of running King Cosmetics, he must get married to a woman worthy of the King name.
Becca has her own padded bank account thanks to her parents who worked very hard to earn their first million and every one after that. In order to instill a strong work ethic in Becca, her parents expect her to work and not live off her trust fund. Right now, bartending is checking that box but Becca would really like to turn her blog, Glitz & Gloss, into a full-time job. Her best friend, Emmy, suggests contacting her brother, Levi, about a job at King Cosmetics. That would be great except for the crush that Becca has harbored for many years.
An utterly uncomfortable business dinner followed by a tense ride home end with an unexpected yet inevitable kiss in the elevator…that ladies and gentlemen is the beginning of Levi and Becca the couple. I like their characters individually but I LOVE them as a couple! There is no relationship without problems but the fact that they were in love with each other long before the very first kiss goes a long way. Y’all, Lauren Helms hit it out of the park with Flawless Foundations! My rating….5 out of 5 propellers!
I absolutely love this series. I have read a lot of the books in this series. I have to say this one is my favorite out of all of the ones that I have read. There was just something about this one that was special to me.
Levi was born from money. The only way he will be able to get his family’s company is to be married. But that is not going to be so easy for him. Becca loves two things her blog and Levi. She has known him forever and has loved him for as long as she can remember. But will things work out the way she wants?
The chemistry between these two is off the charts hot. I absolutely love Levi and Becca. But once she finds out the truth will she be able to forgive him and still want to be with him? This was well written and enjoyable. I loved it from beginning to end. Levi and Becca are a wonderful couple once they realize what is right in front of them. I highly recommend reading this one. A great addition to this series.
New look for a new relationship
Good romance, well written, tender and pleasant to read, on the bringing together of two childhood friends. Becca has long been classified as another sister by Levi, but now that he sees her again, he is considering another possibility, especially in light of the way Marshall, Becca’s boyfriend, treats her. It’s as if Levi wasn’t ready before and he didn’t see her.
The only point that I didn’t understand is the reaction of Marshall, Becca’s friend with benefits, because what he decides to do, seems to me to be only get him the opposite of what he wants.
