Unlike many M/f omegaverse stories, Flawed is very consensual and low on angst. It has an alpha male, Terille, who treats his omega with care and respect. He might be an Alpha, driven by the instincts of the dynamic, but he isn’t ruled by them. He is in control of his actions and I adored him for that. I did like that idea that an Alpha could still have empathy.
It took a while for me to see Cassie’s strength. It wasn’t that she felt weak or like a doormat, but more as though she allowed life to wash over her and happen to her rather than living it fully. Though given all she had been through it was perhaps understandable. I did like her as a character, she quickly recognised the good in Terille and worked with him to make the relationship work, rather than pointlessly against him.
It was a touch on the instalove (lust?) side for me, though that can somewhat be explained by the dynamic of an Alpha/omega pairing. The author did convince me of their feelings for one another, though again more so when we had Terrile’s perspective. I very much liked both main characters and found the story easy to read, there was a good balance between plot and steam, with all the sexual elements being totally consensual.
Personally I would have preferred to have gotten to know both main characters BEFORE they met, or to have spent more time seeing them building their life together. Whilst there were several plot points that allowed for conflict or complications, any strife was fairly easily resolved. At times I just wanted something that would give me a little more depth, a little more uncertainty and emotional upheaval. It was a bit of a “disneyfied” version of an omegaverse, though that isn’t necessarily a bad thing. It just wasn’t quite as meaty a story as I prefer, but it is an entertaining read.
With every new book that she writes, Leann Ryans always succeeds to remind me why she is one of my favourite authors and why I love her stories so much. She always aims to engage her readers with what’s happening in her books. You’re not just reading a story. No, you actually feel like you are a part of the story itself! So for an author to be able to do that….it’s not an easy task many authors can accomplish.
Along with all the steamy and hot scenes between an alpha and his omega there is also a lesson for the readers to learn…..Don’t let your flaws dictate your life! Everyone is perfect the way they are and you can overcome all your problems and find your happy ending inspite of what you might consider to be flaws. This is what I loved most about this book and why I highly recommend you should read it too.
This is a sweet and steamy love story between a scarred Alpha and a disabled Omega. Both Cassie and Terille looked beyond any physical or mental flaws to find their love. The life of an Omega is not easy but Cassie had such strength inside her but it took her being loved and cared for by Terille to realize what was inside her all along. This story will keep on the edge.
It isn’t very often that I have come across an omegaverse where the alpha stays true to nature but is very caring with his omega. For me personally I usually want to get stabby with the alpha or he becomes so sweet it makes my teeth hurt. Terille was the perfect blend for me. Cassie was resilient, sweet as an omega can be, yet showed sparks of temper to even out her character. The main focus is kept to this couple with a smidgen of darkness with past events that are referenced and the omega market which kept me intrigued but wasn’t overwhelming to the story. If you want an interesting omegaverse read that isn’t to dark or sweet I recommend this one!
I really enjoyed reading this book, the characters were great and I really enjoyed the story itself. Overall this was a good read and I look forward to more from the author.

This is a wonderfully sweet romance between two flawed people, one alpha male and a female omega. The author did a great job world building and it was fantastic reading the characters as they developed throughout the story. It was a joy to read this book.

This was a 3.5 star read for me. Overall the story almost felt too sweet for the Omegaverse world. Don’t get me wrong I actually loved the Alpha in this story (probably
my favorite of all that this author has written), but after the initial scene in the book, nothing really happens, no real twists or excitement.
I feel some vital elements were missing that would have taken care of this issue… what happened to the mother? What did he do to the mother’s boyfriend??? I mean really…I really wanted that scene of what actually ‘in full detail’ happened. It seems that would have helped with the “dark” aspects of the book and solidified the Alpha character even more. I think I simply needed more action than what was in this book.
The ending felt abrupt. I really thought there would be a wedding scene of her walking to him, to show all of the culmination of her hard work, to show what he helped her overcome.
Great cover.
I do believe that readers who want an easy transition in the OV world will really enjoy this story.
I usually don’t put the words romantic and Omegaverse in the same sentence. Most Omegaverse stories are dark, with almost continual heartbreak. Not this one. This one is, dare I say, touching. It felt almost tender. The romance took longer to build, but it was all the more emotional because of it. Terille is so understanding and patient with Cassie, and that made me love their romance even more. If you are someone who wants likes their stories on the less dark side, then this is the one for you. The story is still action-packed and exciting and it ends in a HEA.
This is a wonderful story about a paralyzed omega and the alpha that wants her. Both characters have scars and don’t really have expectations for happiness. This story flows and keeps you engaged so you don’t ever want to put it down. Leann is one of my favorite authors and with each story she writes, I love her more.
I did not expect this story line, it starts off with Cassie being captured, forced handcuffed and gagged into a police van, loosing her freedom and forced to go to the center where she will be auctioned off the highest bidder. Being crippled she knew she would not be sold especially when the doctor at the center tells her that she can be fixed but the center won’t pay for it as they won’t get their money back and she will be turned back out. Terille the officer that carried her out of the house when she was captured feels for Cassie as he has been injured and has scars as well and offers to buy her. He takes a promotion and a position he doesn’t want, to be allowed to buy Cassie and get her medical care. Terille is caring, concerned and loving towards Cassie, and being totally Alpha male he takes care of the Alpha that hurt Cassie.
The character development was well done with Cassie being a strong, enduring woman with a very caring and tender heart even after the scaring, neglect, constant pain and abuse she suffered. Terille is a very protective Alpha male with his own demons and scars, I loved how protective and caring he is towards Cassie want to keep her safe and happy. Their love story is slow burning while she goes through surgery and therapy and the HEA was well deserved for both.

This novel was pretty typical of the genre with one twist. Each of the main characters has a flaw to overcome. It made for a slightly more interesting story. It’s a quick read, plenty of steam and romantic attachment.
Broken, defeated, and defiled, Cassie believes that she is worthless despite being an Omega. Why would an Alpha want to build a future with an omega such as her? Maimed and a loner, Terille focuses on the job before him until he meets Cassie. Ruthless possessiveness overtakes him in a bid to make Cassie his. Can this Alpha show her that she is more than just her flaws? Such a raw, possessive, and sweet read. Highly recommend!
This one really got me hard. Both our hero and heroine have suffered in their life and have scars to show for it. However, unlike our hero who has learned to deal with it day to day, our heroine’s scars are not what’s her holding her back. From a shaky beginning, our Alpha, Terille, will do what needs to be done to win Omega Cassie’s trust and love for whatever happens, she is his and he will claim her no matter what may come. Highly recommended and not to be missed!
Cassie and Terille’s Story
I loved this dark tale full of delightful twists. The enticingly sexy chills and shocking drama jumps off the pages and suck you in so deeply until you feel the heat thrumming through your veins. The characters are complex and authentic and the scenes are vivid and graphically detailed that you are transported to this dystopian world. “Flawed” is a good read.

This was so great to read. I loved how the author made a flawed Omega and showed how she still had worth. There is so much that happens to Cassie. I dont want to go into it too much because I hate spoilers, but I loved her journey and how Terille wanted her right from the start.
Cassie was such a great character and Terille complimented her so well! And I also loved how you got to meet more staff of the Omega center as well. There are some great characters in this book!
This very unique & beautiful somewhat darkish omegaverse romance is about a broken & paralyzed female omega (Cassie) & the alpha male (Terille Hash) prepared to anything for her. I absolutely enjoyed reading this splendid well-written story & found the plot really fascinating with the physical & emotional journey these two people went on to ultimately find their HEA.
There is: soldiers, omegas, alphas, aliens, omega markets, raids, drama, intrigue, mild suspense, twists & turns, friendship, decisions, determination, devastating memories, discovery, confusion, defiance, strange attractions, protectiveness, medical procedures, mischievousness, longings, surprises, nesting, heat issues, bonding, contentment, some steam & a satisfying conclusion.
This is the first book I’ve read with a disabled heroine and I thought it was refreshingly unique. It’s beautifully written with both characters sympathetically portrayed. I like how it focused on their strengths and what they’d overcome, especially the main female character. I’m looking forward to more in this series.
A wonderful quick read. This book is a super steamy light read that shows that everyone deserves to be loved even if you are scarred and broken.
Great addition to the Sci-Fi/Paranormal Romance genre!
The writing draws you in and keeps you involved throughout the whole story, I found myself in love with not only the characters but also the world she created.
The attitudes toward the events that are happening make the story even richer and the characters more relatable.

Sweet and sexy, I never expected from Alpha and omega bond. But Terille and Casie suprise me with their sweet, endearing, devoted bond right from the start.
How Terille see beyond her flawed. How she fight to stay alive with all her flawed.
How Casie see him and see only his adoration, devotion, protectivenes in his dominant way… Terille is the perfect example why book husband is the best men you’ll want in real life
And the heat time? It’s perfectly as I would see in the omega heat time.
