Arnold Birchwood always believed the world was flat, but he could never prove it. When an alien spaceship crashes outside his house, he suddenly gets his chance. With the help of his friends – Eudox, a green space alien pretending to be from Texas, Sam Duval, a professional complainer who has huffed too much government mind control gas, and Corpsy, a stone-cold dead corpse – Arnold sets out into … into orbit to show everyone that the world is flat once and for all! Flat Earthers in space, the real reason the moon landing was faked, where the arrow in the Fedex logo is really pointing, the identity of the secret fifth Teletubby, the meaning of crop circles, and the true nature of the evil conspiracy that runs the world – all in Flat Space, a hilarious new comedy from author Andrew Stanek.

OK read
I’m not really rating this as that would be completely unfair – I didn’t read it. I could not work up enough interest in the writing to get beyond the first 15-20 pages, especially having greatly not enjoyed another of the author’s books that I did force myself to finish. I just do not find his writing humorous, but do find it real work to read.
one of the more unreadable books i have come across, managed about one quarter of it then gave up. In theory not a bad plot, but otherwise not worth the paper its written on
Almost too strange but in a witty and interesting way.
Tedious
I did not care for this book. It made me laugh a few times. Ultimately, I did not finish it cause I just couldn’t get into it.
An easy short read that will keep you laughing from beginning to end.
Didn’t want to finish it. After four chapters, still no signs of intelligent life.
Could not tolerate continuing after 35-40 pages
I thought that this book was unfunny and tedious. Could not finish reading and that rarely happens with me. Would not give even one star.
I gave up part way through the book it was too far out for me.
didnt really like it
The first few pages were very funny, then it turned totally ridiculous. I deleted the book,
I didn’t initially realize I had read and not really liked a book by the same author (“You Are Dead. Sign Here, Please”). I probably wouldn’t have given this book a try if I had realized that, but this one is much better. The humor is more natural, and stems from the plot, and there is a plot (!). Generally fun, if not outstanding.
Well Honestly, only read the first 8-10 Chapters! I like to Try the Works of New Authors, (at least New to me), and gave this Book a shot. I just could Not get interested in this subject matter. Just wasnt my “cup of tea”, so I finally gave up. But what I read was well written, and I would give this Author a second look with another book with a subject matter more inline with my brain! I gave a 4 Star because what I did get thru was well written and descriptive. I didn’t get to the end some can’t give a Star for how it ended. I can’t trash a person’s work because of my interests and I will follow this Author to see what Good Works flow in the Future!
Just not for me.
Witty, but not my cup of tea.
Douglas Adams he is not. Unfunny, boring and repetitive.
Don’t waste your time. Stupid and boring.
If you like Hitchhiker’s Guide, then you will enjoy this book. Zany is so many ways!
