TWO BLOOD-SPATTERED STRANGERS awake, locked in the trunk of a car–with a murdered cop and the smoking gun. Aside from raging headaches and no idea what’s happened, they appear to have nothing in common. Troy thinks it’s 2001 and he’s still a combat surgeon fighting terrorists in Afghanistan. Emmy believes it’s 2002 and she’s still grifting a living from the streets of L.A.
Are they archenemies or coconspirators? Lovers or friends? What are they doing in the Caribbean, and why is a Croatian assassin determined to kill them? The only thing they know for certain is that they’ll be spending the rest of their lives in prison if the police catch them before they learn the truth.

I really enjoyed this book and would definitely recommend it and am even thinking of buying the audio book version too.
What happens when you wake up in a car boot next to a dead policeman and no memory of how you got there. This is the dilemma facing Troy in this book. Should he run and try to work out what has happened or stay and hope the …
At first I had a hard time following and thinking this was going to be a sci-fi suspense thriller (not my cup of tea), however, this turned out to be a great book with intense character and a unique storyline! I loved the book and will look into others written by the author.
The basic premise of this novel is unique: two characters awaken with massive headaches, and both have completely lost their memories of the last 6-7 years. Dr. Troy and Emmy Green are smart, resourceful people, but they have to scramble to discover anything about why they were being framed for murder. The book is full of double crosses and …
Exciting read from the beginning. I found it hard to put down.
How do you rebuild your memory when its been stolen from you? Especially if it appears you committed a murder during the blacked out period. What do you do when you start to figure out you’re also a victim? Great mystery/thriller!
Ultra Violet
Well developed characters in this story line leave the reader to wonder the possibility of such a flash. In the name of greed, individuals will go to extreme lengths.
Another GREAT Tigner book.
I read about half of the book and had to stop. It was too slow. The author did not drop hints as to how the two characters fit with one another and and why neither could remember their past. It was just chasing, running, and killing as to really no understanding to why other than secret serum (maybe?).
Entertaining and gripping right from page one.
I liked it. I like all of Tigner’s books.
An amazing, awesome novel. Once you start reading it, you just can’t stop. One of the best thriller, I read in recent times.
This one is a thriller, a page turner. The characters are real, very believable.
I never knew how it would end until I finished the book.
This book had me from the first page.
It is a roller-coaster of adventure, deception, twisted, sad, and does not stop until the end of the book.
It is a page-turner—-some thing I figured out and other things I could not believe were happening.
Thank you Tim Tigner for a story with non-stop action.
I liked this book.
Intriguing mystery about 2 people in dire situation with no memory of how they got there.
Well written, possible senerio, worth the read…
Great book, read several of his books since!
An enjoyable read.
What a great story ! Hate spoilers so I wont give anything away. Just know that the story line is new, not the same old stuff. Flash kept me coming back for more. Worth the read !
