TWO BLOOD-SPATTERED STRANGERS awake, locked in the trunk of a car–with a murdered cop and the smoking gun. Aside from raging headaches and no idea what’s happened, they appear to have nothing in common. Troy thinks it’s 2001 and he’s still a combat surgeon fighting terrorists in Afghanistan. Emmy believes it’s 2002 and she’s still grifting a living from the streets of L.A.
Are they archenemies or coconspirators? Lovers or friends? What are they doing in the Caribbean, and why is a Croatian assassin determined to kill them? The only thing they know for certain is that they’ll be spending the rest of their lives in prison if the police catch them before they learn the truth.

Flash: 4* fascinating to see how the people and the back to back chapters end up interacting. Amazing personal risk taking.
Free book from bookbub and it was an amazing story. Definitely a thriller, a thriller, a page turner hold my attention to the end. Troy has lost seven years of his memory and Emmy has lost six of hers and there the intrigue begins. Very unique and different storyline. Definitely holds your attention to the end!
Good book, my first time reading this author. Will probably read more of his books.
Great concept – had to read in one go to find out how it ended.
Make a pot of coffee, or tea, and be prepared to be up all night. An edge of the seat thriller. Tigner is one of my favorites and I search constantly for his books.
Held your attention from the first page.
Not great but not bad. Kind of a beach read
Crazy, twisted read. Great characters.
A great what is going to happen next book with great characters and what is happening to them keeps you wanting more
I was not pulled to this book by either it’s title or cover. However, after reading many reviews I chose to give it a chance. I’m glad I did. The pace of the story kept me going, and the unusual premise held my interest. A worthy read.
A little on the far side, but entertaining and unexpected resolutions at the end.
Great author, I will buy more of his books
Very entertaining book with an unusual plot.
Great characters. Loved the ending!
I enjoy this author, keeps me turning each page! I it’s so wrapped up in the storyline I don’t want to put it down!
Where are 3 1/2 stars when I need them? I came to like the characters, but there were too many gaps in the plot to give it 4.
Thought this was going to be a waste of time. Wrong. Suspenseful, action, neat twists. Got a little thin on detail in the last couple of chapters, though. Ran out of ideas maybe? Overall, good read.
Troy and Emmy wake up in a parking garage with a dead cop in the trunk. They have no memory of what happened or each other. It is change of shift and they need to get out of there before the garage is filled with cops. As they team up they begin to unravel what is really going on. There is some profanity .
This book was to wordy. I did not finish it.
Flash has a unique premise that is both haunting and very scary. The two protagonists find themselves on Grand Cayman with a dead policemen but no knowledge of how they got there. What was fascinating, the novel became more packed with action, twisted, and unpredictable over the next several chapters. It then started to settle down as the …
