It had a different plot that I enjoyed.
I loved loved this series, fascinating
Ishtafel – an evil seraphim with the blackest heart, filled with rage, killer of millions. Jaren – priest, healer, slave, father of Vale, Elory, and Ameliora. Vir Requis – humans who can morph into dragon form, killed almost to extinction, enslaved. For most of these three novels, the characters are overwhelmed by despair, pain, and hopelessnes. The face dangers from Seraphim, Black Seraphim, Harpies, and many other monsters in seemingly insurmountable numbers during horrible battles. Yet the dragons’ dreams survive, dreams of breaking out of their chains and magical collars. Dreaming of once again flying in the skies under Draco, the dragon constellation. A terrific series.
One of the best fantasy book.
Daniel Arenson has a great imagination and can keep you turning the pages for hours. Good characters. Enjoyed everything of his I have read.
Slow story line
LOVED this series. My heart felt torn apart with the loss of some characters. Would read again just to discover new details I might have missed. Two thumbs and two big toes up!!!!
Very different than other Dragon sagas. Original and well written. Really enjoyed reading and would read it again.
Loved it
Another epic tale in this world that we love. Full of sadness, joy, tears and rage. Easy to love characters, and plot lines. Can’t wait for the next trilogy.
I love dragon stories and this has awesome characters, wonderful scenery, intrigue and unexpected and unanticipated happenings.
Fun read. I enjoyed then
I love these books. I can hardly wait for the next batch.
It is really gorey and repetative in each succeeding book.
This was a very good story. I would have given it 5 stars but it was kind of slow at times but I’ll probably read it again some day.
Exciting adventure with great dragons. My son loved the whole series.
I highly recommend NOT reading this trilogy. It’s just not worth the effort. The first book is not that bad. In the second and third books, it seems as if the same kind of thing keeps happening to the central characters over and over again with slight variations. It brought my mood way down.
While the fantasy was entertaining the book seemed to repeat itself over and over, especially with regard to the bloody fights that continued until I was really tired. Characters were good, but not great, There was an obvious leaning towards the Weredragons and the Seraphim were evil, sort of a turnaround. Te romantic interests were predictable, but as I said, entertaining. It was a dark story from the beginning and had very little to raise your spirit, It was the most defeatist while chanting war cries book I”ve ever read. It was doomsday without the inspiration to go on, although it was repeated over and over again. it just didn;t ring true. And as it turned out, it wasn;t- the true heroes all die, and honestly, I expected them all to die. It would explain why there are not more dragons.
I have read all the dragon books by Daniel Arenson
