“A DELICIOUSLY WILD RIDE!”
Gigi Gallo’s childhood was filled with the roar of a motorcycle and the hum of a tattoo gun. Her dream has always been to work at her family’s tattoo shop — Inked. But on her first day of work, she runs into someone from her not-so-innocent past.Pike Moore is a bossy biker with a cocky attitude and an even bigger ego. He came to Inked to start over. New town. New job. … over. New town. New job. New roots. None of that included coming face-to-face with the hot chick who spent a week in his bed before she vanished without a trace.
But when they are forced to work together, feelings they thought had been extinguished come roaring back and ignite a spark neither can stop.

Love the Gallos, and Gigi is no exception. She and Pike are amazing!! Wow!
This is the First book in the Inked Heatwave series. Now this does end in a cliffhanger. I totally wasn’t expecting it either. I love how much it caught me off guard! This rarely happens anymore!
This is Gigi’s book. She is City and Suzy’s oldest daughter. But she acts just like her Aunt Izzy. I love it!
Pike is a tattoo artist, just hired to work at Ink.
I love how they met.
The fling only lasted a week. They thought they would never see each other again.
Boy were they wrong.
Pike is a lot like the Gallo men. Especially how City was when he was younger.
I don’t want to give anything away.
I can’t wait for Burn!
I love all the Gallos.
This damn book was everything I didn’t know I needed and everything I wanted. Pike Moore is rough and rugged, but sweet and endearing. He is the definition of a book boyfriend unicorn!
Gigi and Pike take you on a ride with their initial meet and then all the drama and sparks that fly thereafter. You get lost in the sensual touches and sweet words along with the snarky, sarcasm from all the characters involved.
This book can be read by all reader types, whether it be contemporary, romcom or mc. There’s so many elements that make Pike and Gigi’s story one you’ll love.
for the audio –
When your friends name the hot guy that you know you’re going to burn for and that is only the beginning, you know you’re done for! Good thing that Gigi is a Gallo. Cause that means she may be sweet and sassy but she can hold her own against this Flame! WHEW!! And boy did it get hot… Samantha Brentmoor did a fine job giving the sass out as Gigi without sounding like a bored our entitled girl. I could easily picture Gigi doing and saying the things she did.
Pike! I love how self-assured he was. I knew I was hooked with the first rumble of Jason Clarke as Pike. It was the perfect shivers. How he stayed the course. All of the men of Gallo showed him how they were strong, and yet strong enough to let their women love them and be independent.
Although I will admit that when I got to the end, I may have possibly used the author’s name as a curse word for how it all ended! No spoilers here – you’ll have to listen to know. So what are you waiting for? Go get Flame!
Flame (Men of Inked Heatwave Book #1)By Chelle Bliss
I discovered the books of Chelle Bliss with City & Suzy’s book “Throttle Me”. FLAME is about their daughter Gigi. I loved this look into their daughter’s and Pike Moore’s lives, especially when City is with them. I have absolutely loved the GaIlos from the start and FLAME is such a great addition.
Gigi and Pike met when Gigi with her cousin and some friends made a secret trip to Bike Week in Daytona. She picks Pike up in a bar and heads out with him. A one night stand leads to a one week stand and she then leaves without a word to him. Fifteen months later they run into each other when he is starting his new job as a tattoo artist at INK, and so is she. So the trick is keeping everyone in the shop from finding out their history or they will know Gigi lied about spring break. Since they can’t keep their eyes off of each other and Izzy has noticed that they seem to know each other.
These two have an insane amount of hot chemistry. The Gallo banter is in full force. Gigi is so much like her saucy, feisty Aunt Izzy, and we get to see several of the Gallo family members. There is drama and angst. We also get a cliffhanger that is making me anxious for the next part of the Gigi and Pike saga.
Once again Chelle Bliss has created an excellent addition to the series. This is most definitely a 5 star book!
This is a spin-off of the Men of Inked series, which I have not read. Flame can be read without having read those books. I didn’t feel lost or like I was missing anything. But I do want to go back and read that series now.
This was a great story. There was action, romance, suspense, and humor. I loved Pike. Gigi has quite the attitude. They work well together and have great chemistry. The story had my heart racing and at times, on the edge of my seat. I can not wait to see how their story continues in Burn.
When his new boss introduces him to his daughter, he can’t believe it’s Gigi. Things don’t feel finished between them, but Gigi is making his life difficult. They both lied but he didn’t let her know about his past either, nothing mattered except the week they had. No matter what Gigi says he knows they still have a spark between them, she’s the one that left without a goodbye.
Gigi know she just left but she thought it could be more than a fling till she worked out she was just another piece to him. He ruined her, she thought about him every day.
Pike knows there’s something that’s holding Gigi back, there’s a spark there but she’s denying it, then he hears her on the phone, she wants love, a relationship, but she thinks he can’t commit. Pike can give her what she wants, he wants love, a relationship, he knows he will protect her with his life, he just needs her to realise she wants the same thing and stop fighting it.
Absolutely loved how when Joe (City) lays down the law, Gigi lets him know exactly how she feels about it showing that she’s a Gallo protecting the one she loves.
Joe isn’t happy about Pike and every argument he tries; Suzy reminds him that he’s just like he was.
Can wait for the rest of their story in Burn.
Right, okay… I have had a few days to sit on this review and I am still as speechless as I was when I first finished the book.
This is the biggest thing I dread most when I read a book that hits me hard, I struggle to review it, I struggle to put into words (Without spoilers) on how amazing the book was and this is very much the case for me when it comes to Flame.
Gah! Chelle is a genius, she can weave together words and piece together an amazing plot that will grab your attention from page one to the last page of the book. This book was no exception. I went into this book not knowing what to expect, well I did know to expect it to be amazing… but this? This is pure gold.
Flame is the next generation of Men of Inked and this book is Gigi’s story, and what a story it was. Gigi is a grown woman now and she has started to live her own life. She is ambitious and she wants to make a difference in her world, she wants to make a mark and this book is just that for her. She does make a difference and she does make a mark on this crazy world her and her family are in. Gigi was perfect. She was sassy, feisty, witty, smart and determined, she is determined to live her life for herself, to take care of herself. She truly is a Gallo and she fits in perfectly!
Enters Pike… He is alpha as hell, domineering and normally gets what he wants. HE IS PERFECTION!! Gigi thought she had dodged him after a wild night together, but he has wanted to be in the Inked world for the longest time, so when he finally is given the chance, he doesn’t pass it up. But on his first day, he saw the last woman he expected to see again, Gigi. A girl who he couldn’t seem to let go of since one crazy night they spent together…and now? She was his boss’s daughter…
Will Gigi give him the time of day? Will Pike get his chance at making this woman completely and utterly his and his only. Is Gigi prepared for what’s about to come her way when it comes to this man?
This book was intense, to say the least… The chemistry between these two was kindle melting hot, I found myself fanning myself time and time again. IT WAS HOT AS HELL!
It only intensified as the book progressed and the push and pull between the two was enough to drive me nuts! I was cheering these two on from the start. They were perfect together. Both personalities bounced off each other that made me fall in love with them.
Chelle Bliss is a master at her craft and when it comes to anything to do with the Men of Inked series and spin-offs, she is in her element. She always delivers an outstanding read and I always know that I will love it and it was no different with this book. It is an epic start to the next generation. Probably one of a couple of series that I thought the whole “Next Gen” thing was actually amazing. She made it work and added another incredible story to what is a fucking amazing series of books.
Truly EPIC.
6 Stars, because 5 isn’t enough!
Chelle Bliss always gets me counting down the days when she announces a new book release, but this Men Of Inked Heatwave Series had me ready to pounce as soon as it hit my kindle!
Not only did she give us an absolutely mesmerising story but she set my heart a light with the chemistry pouring from the pages.
Pike and Gigi’s Story shouldn’t work, but the way Chelle weaves such a crazy whirlwind not only do the characters get swept along my heart got caught up in the process, but one thing Chelle always steals is another little slither of it, her talent never ceases to amaze me.
The Gallo’s are back!! This is the first book in the all new Men of Inker: heatwave series! This is Gigi’s story, she is the daughter of Joe and Suzy! I was so excited to read this book and was not disappointed! This book was amazing! I loved seeing everyone in the Gallo family again, I especially loved seeing Joe’s reaction to Gigi growing up and becoming involved with Pike. This is the first book in Gigi and Pikes story and does have a cliffhanger! I can’t wait to read what comes next!
To say Flame is hot is doing it a serious injustice. We met Gigi Gallo way back when she was born in the Men of Inked series, but she is all grown up now and only a bad boy like Pike will be able to handle her. Gigi is out of college now and coming home to work in the family business, Pike is a new hire there but they have a past that is going to make life more interesting. This book is seriously worth checking out even if you are not familiar with Chelle Bliss’s earlier books. Gigi has always been strong willed and spunky and some things will never change.
Joey/City’s (book THROTTLE ME) daughter Gigi has all grown up she’s aiming to take her place in the family business. Tattooing is all she’s ever known, and she’s excited to start the next chapter in her life. But she didn’t expect to run into past…..
Pike can’t believe his eyes, after spending a passionate week with this woman, she just disappears on him, the last place he thought he’d see her was at his new job. And wouldn’t you know it, she’s the bosses daughter!!! Out of his league and if he wants to keep his job, then she needs to stay that way…..
But the chemistry that drew them together, is still at work, they can’t keep their eyes or minds off of each other. It’s only a matter of time…..
But time maybe running out. Pike’s past has caught up with him, and caught up Gigi too, he never wanted to hurt her, but things don’t always work out that way.
What the hell has Pike brought to town? It could get messy, and people could get hurt. Can Gigi forgive Pike? Or will she watch him ride out of town forever? And what will Pike think when he finds out her real “age”!!
This book is a spin off from her “The Men of Inked” you don’t need to read the precious series to enjoy this new series. But I might have to go and have a look at the old series.
I liked the chemistry between Gigi and Pike. I also liked the fact the series is a next generation series. Very descriptive, really well written.
I have several tattoos so I know how the process works, so it was a nice read.
Chelle took us full circle bringing us right back to the beginning. Flame reminded me so much of Suzy & City’s story and where my love for the Gallos started. I loved the intriguing and suspenseful story. I loved the engaging characters and loveable Gallo family dynamics. The chemistry was off the charts and the sexiness was super hot. Pike was sexy, badass and swoony all wrapped up. GiGi was a fiesty independent woman who had a mouth on her. The two of them were fierce together.
The Gallo men were exactly how you remember them; caring, protective and all alpha. While the Gallo woman were strong independent and badass.
There is nothing bad I can say about this book except Chelle left us on one sour note. I need more and I need Burn like yesterday.
This book was so good and the next can only get better.
I have been waiting for this one since I first heard about it. This one is all about Gigi. Gigi is feisty stubborn and a Gallo. She has gone off to college to one day take her place beside her father at the tattoo shop that the family runs. But before then her and the girls decide to take a little adventure to Daytona during bike week. Yep you guessed it Gigi lets loose. But the man that she runs into doesn’t seem like a normal bad biker. He is more respectful than she is thinking when she starts her plan. She ends up lying to him about who she really is until 15 months later when they run into each other again at the tattoo shop. It is the first day for both of them. Gigi cant believe her eyes when she walks in the door and sees him. Pike cant believe his either and tells himself that this time she isn’t getting away no matter what. But his past catches up with him and puts them both in danger. Will they come out on the other side as a couple or will their happiness not last? Who really is after them? Let me tell you the ending holy cow not what I was expecting at all. Chelle Bliss always writes amazing books and it shows in this one. I absolutely loved Pike and Gigi. These two have some great chemistry throughout the whole book. I cant wait to read the next one.
Oh my goodness, I can’t even express how much I loved this book!! Always love a book with the Gallos in it (I mean, how can you not), but this was extra with Gigi (City & Suzy’s oldest daughter) being grown up makes it even more special. Gigi is such a spitfire, filled with sass & attitude, beauty & talent. When we first meet her, she’s being a bit of a rebel, being somewhere she shouldn’t be. And meeting a luscious biker named Pike. After a very hot, sexy & memorable week, they part ways. Jump to 15 months later, and two new artists are starting at Inked. Can you guess who? Gigi,,,and Pike. An interesting, and to them, shocking, turn of events. And here is where I’m gonna leave you to find the rest out on your own, because lots of things happen & I won’t ruin it for you. But I will say there’s lots of heat, there’s lots of action, there’s laughs, and stress. This book has it all. Completely loved it!!! And cannot wait for the next one!!!
Chelle Bliss takes storytelling to a whole new level with Flame! Pike is everything alpha. He’s strong, loyal, and this book is hot! Gigi is a woman with family roots that give her confidence, love, and loyalty. These two together blow your mind. This is a book you can’t put down and an ending that will leave you speechless.
Fantastic sexy read. Love the Gallos. The next generation is starting off with a bang. Gigi is one amazing woman. She has no filter she says what she thinks. Pike is one strong sexy as sin man. He knows what he wants. They make for an interesting fun compassionate complicated couple. Can’t wait to read the next book.
The first book I ever read by Chelle Bliss was “Throttle Me.” I fell in love with City and Suzy, and it has always been one of my favorites. I was ecstatic to learn that she was writing a new series, with the first book featuring their daughter, Gigi.
I read “Flame” during a long car ride and I am glad I was able to devote all of my time to this masterpiece. Gigi’s feistiness reminded me of Suzy and Pike is a carbon copy of City. Gigi was determined to meet Pike when she first saw him and she had no qualms about walking right up to him and letting him know she was interested. I was drawn into the curiosity they had for each other and I applauded Pike’s restraint when it came to taking his time get Gigi. The intensity of their connection never lessened and when they were reunited, it was like they had never been apart.
The Gallo family and the bond they have with each other is one of the reasons I love this series so much. To them, family is everything, and you always have someone to protect you, listen to you and a place to call home. Pike found this with Gigi, and it was magical, deeply personal and life changing. I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for Pike and Gigi in “Burn”, the next book in the series.
When I read a book by an author that is new to me there is always the hope that I will like it enough to be able to say good things about it. Well, thanks to the writing talent of Chelle Bliss, I have fallen in love with the book and with her writing.
Pike is a guy who has some inner demons he needs to deal with and accept. Gigi is from a family that has your back all the way! They meet in place unexpectedly and the chemistry between them is like fire warning hot! They butt heads when reunited but only because they both can’t accept what is between them. Who her family is doesn’t help Pike at all.
When they are thrown into a situation due to his family, they are kind of forced to admit what is happening between them. Which can be good and yet it can make you have some doubts.
A big thing with both characters is how right they are for each other. All the characters are easy to love and understand, even if you haven’t read any of the previous stories with the family in them.
I love Gigi and Pike and the Gallo Family!
Another great story be Chelle! Gigi is the daughter of Joe & Suzy Gallo from the book Throttle Me ( Men of Inked Series). Love how it starts and how she meets PIKE . Had me laughing at some parts and the end WOW didn’t see that coming and now I can’t wait for the next book in this series Burn to come out! this is the 1st book that I could not put down till I finished it ( read it 1 day )I highly recommend this book!!!!!
