5 Amazing Stars! I really love your writing Emma Louise your words flow along beautifully! Loved every think about this story we had heartbreak, love, swoon worthyness! Elliott & Duke are perfect together they fixed each other with that perfect HEA! This is so worth the read! Bring on Struck!
This series is amazing. Fixed can be read as a standalone, but I suggest diving into the series!! Elliott ‘s marriage is wrecked beyond repair, her husband infidelities can no longer be ignored when he sleeps with her sister. Duke, her best friends brother, has returned home to be closer to his family. Elliott convinces him to stay with her and her twins while he embarks on his future plans. Their connection is palaple thru the pages of the book and their relationship quickly takes on its own life. But, they both have insecurities of not being good enough from past hurts. An accident opens their eyes to the possibilities. This is a second chance at love and Duke is perfect and just what Elliott needs.
Duke:
“Love you, sweetheart.”
My eyes fly up to meet his. “You do?” I don’t know why I ask when I know how he feels about me. He’s just never said it out loud before. He’s never needed to; I’ve always felt it.
“More than anything. You and those girls through there, you’re my world.” Another kiss. Another flutter in my chest. For the longest time, I felt like I was broken beyond repair. Until Duke. Until he showed me that I didn’t need to be fixed. Instead, he showed me that both of our broken bits could come together to create something so much better than either of us ever had.
The ultimate book boyfriend.
I absolutely love these books!!
Fixed by Emma Louise will captivate you and leave you swooning. With the right amount of angst, suspense and adorable children, once finished this you’ll find yourself emerged in book three for more.
When two broken people feel an attraction but are both deemed off limits, will their chemistry be enough to fight the demons of their pasts, or will these obstacles make for more broken hearts?
Elliot and Duke are so much fun to read. Duke is totally book boyfriend material, so prepare yourself – he’s seductive. Elliot is such a sweet soul, her compassion for others will pull you to her just as her sassy and fun personality.
I’m not ready to leave these characters and their stories yet so I’m straight back in to it with Struck – book three.
Book one – Score is just as amazing, start there for your Flawed Love journey.
I recommend this.
This is the second book in this awesome series, and what a perfect addition this is to this series. This is Elliott and Duke’s story. Duke is Elliott’s best friends brother, and she has always had a huge crush on him, but was under the impression that it was all one sided. This is a beautifully writes story which has me totally captivated throughout this addictive page turner, and I highly recommend this phenomenal series for all.
What a beautiful book! Elliot and Duke completely won my heart! The emotions in this series is perfect! All the characters are beautiful, and their journies are epic. I am in awe of Elliott – she was able to pull herself back together and be the woman she was meant to be. And Duke, my wonderful Duke, when he finally woke up and realized that he was worthy was amazing. There are not enough stars for this book ever!
Another awesome book by this author. It was sweet and a little emotional, but overall a great easy read. I would have liked to have seen more communication between Duke and Elliott. More getting Duke to open up. I loved the romance aspect and it was really fast paced, but at the same time I felt like it was so fast that I felt a little dissatisfied with seeing Duke opening up. I will say that even with that I really enjoyed the story and devoured it in one sitting. I can’t wait to see what’s to come next. 4 stars #2OCCJD

Thank you for generously providing me this ARC in exchange of a honest review.
Elliott was the character that caught my interest the most, aside from Poppy and Keir, of course.
Since Fixed is about a character I already liked and Elliott didn’t changed her personality, I liked Fixed.
However, I missed her friendship with Poppy, which let me down a little.
I also thought Fixed focused a lot on the two main characters. With the exception of Elliott’s daughters, all other characters were, in my opinion, mere props. They were there, but didn’t made a big difference. Even Poppy, as I already said, didn’t appear much. And she had an important connection with both main characters!
Nothing diminish the quality of the book. It was just different from what I expected. Two things I adored on Score and wanted to see more on the series weren’t there.
I liked Fixed, I liked the series and I’ll read Struck. Have no doubt.
Emma Louise writes fluently. I read both books quickly, in a day each. Give it a try, I think you’ll like it.

Nada diminui a qualidade do livro.

This book was so good to say the least. I really enjoyed it. The story kept me interested and wanting more aswell as having good characters that reminded me of real people. I can’t wait for more from this author.
A very enjoyable read!
She’s off limits! Elliott is his baby sisters best friend, while they’re attending college he enlists. Fifteen years later he returns home for good to find Elliott living in his sisters house. They have a friends with benefits arrangement but Duke wants more. He doesn’t think he’s good enough for her though.
Elliott has had her head buried in the sand for the sake of her baby girls for years. Walking into her husbands office and being confronted by his rather delicate position on his desk with a female is like a jolt of lighting. She moves into Poppy’s old house to start a new life with the girls. Duke drops into her life and she begins remembering old feelings from when they first met. Ellie doesn’t want to commit to anything though because she’s scared of not being enough to keep a man interested.
Fantastic Read!!
I loved Score and I loved, loved Fixed. Emma Loise can sure tell a sweet, charming story with flair. I fell in love with Elliot and Duke from the start. Emma’s writing is beautiful and as an up-and-coming author, has totally impressed and won me over with her first two books. She pulls no punches when it comes to an emotional story with all the feels. I am so excited to see what’s next.
If you haven’t already read this, please tell me why?
No seriously, you need this book in your life.
Duke made me swoon with how amazing he was with Elliott and the girls. Elliott was such an awe-spiring mom, rebuilding her life with her girls.
This warmed my heart in the best way. A must read.
This is the second book by Emma Louise that I have read- and she is quickly becoming a favorite of mine!
Elliot has just come to the conclusion that her marriage is over. She wanted to stay with her ex for the sake of her twin daughters, but he wants a divorce. She moved into her best friend’s (Poppy from Score) home, and soon after, Poppy’s brother, Duke showed up, having recently gotten out of the military and moved back to Savannah. These two have known each other for a while, but sharing a house proves to be the catalyst they need to realize their feelings.
I really liked both of these main characters. I liked that Elliot realized her strength and worth, and wasn’t going to settle in a new relationship. I loved the growth that Duke did throughout the story, as well.
Emma Louise’s first novel, Score, was really good, but I have seen a lot of growth in her writing since that book’s release. She has become an author that I will keep up to date with! I can’t wait for TJ’s book next!
Fixed is my first story by Emma Louise—a second chance romance between a single mother and her best friend’s older brother. It screams ‘forbidden’. Taboo. However, it is filled with heartache for someone who forget what self-love is; for another who has returned to Savannah, a little bruised and shattered himself.
“Something about her calls to me on a level that I don’t understand.”
Divorced and feeling defeated, Elliott is re-learning to love herself; to re-acquaint herself with long lost confidence and independence. She’s alone, desperate, raising two young girls within a home that isn’t hers. But she’s determined to never beg another man for anything. Duke is finally returning to Savannah after leaving the military, ready to discover his purpose and start living. Despite being Elliott’s opposite in appearance—she’s wholesome, whereas he’s gruff and rough around the edges—they compliment each other well!
“I can give you this if you want it. Me. It’s not much, but I guarantee you I’ll make it good if you say yes. The only promise I can give you is that our hearts won’t get hurt.”
Elliott is an inspiring woman. I admire her tenacity; it is difficult to love yourself, to know your self-worth, when someone, who’s supposed to have unconditional love for you, repeatedly crumbles your self-esteem. Doing this, whilst raising two inquisitive children, is an incredible feat that every modern woman experiencing a similar hardship deserves an applause.
Duke and Elliott have an intense, heated chemistry that they initially refuse to embrace. However, once they allow their insecurities and hesitation to fall away, they’re passionate and explosive after years of quiet fervid longing. In seamless manner, Duke fits in Elliott’s life, becoming an admirable father figure to Brooke and Bailey, and loving both of them with ease.
I loved Emma Louise’s debut book and so was excited to read this one with characters we met in Score. I’m definitely a huge fan of this new author!
Elliott has been broken by her ex, and when left to pick up the pieces, along comes Duke. He’s the older brother of her best friend and neither of them is in a place that a relationship is on the agenda. Right from their awkward reacquaintance to their HEA and everything in between, I enjoyed every word Emma wrote about their messy, but beautiful story.
Duke is going to be everyone’s next book boyfriend, so get ready for some major hotness to keep you warm!
I love this series so much!
I read the first book, and I was hooked and anxious for this second book.
Fixed is standalone which interconnected with Score, so so better reading I suggest reading Score first.
Elliot going through a hard time in her life with her piece of a crap husband cheated on her and asking for a divorce.
Elliott doesn’t know how to function anymore away for her married life, now her crap husband asked for a divorce, and she will be a single mother to her twins.
Duke has done his time in the military life and wanted to be closer to his sister but didn’t expect that find his sister best sharing house with, the one he harbours a crush a long time and tough will be impossible.
I love the dynamic between Elliott and Duke and I couldn’t be happier with this love story.
5 Family Stars!
I received an Advance Reader Copy of the book. This is my honest and voluntary review.
Emma Louise managed to grip me by the heart and rip the tears right out of my eyes within the first few chapters of Elliot and Duke’s story, which made Fixed a book that I just could not put down. It is the second book in a series and while I was able to follow along okay, all of the characters are interconnected, so I did feel like I was missing a bit of background by having not read the first book, Score (though I plan on rectifying that soon). The chemistry between Duke and Elliot was sizzling, the way that Elliot’s twin daughters were depicted was adorable, and the emotions and issues between them were real. Usually I despise books where the characters could resolve major issues by just communicating with each other, but in this case I didn’t mind it as much. The epilogue is super sweet and I look forward to reading TJ and Lucy’s story and continuing the series with Struck. 3.5 out of 5 wine glasses.
I had no idea when I read this book that Emma Louise is such a new author. I would’ve never guessed it by reading this book that is for sure. I was absolutely hooked and couldn’t put this book down. My heart was in my throat in the beginning of this book and the push and pull between Duke and Elliott.
If you haven’t checked out this book then this is one to do so. I freaking loved it!!! I can’t wait for more and will definitely be keeping my eye for Emma’s next release!
This story for me was so exciting because I have been on an MC and dark romance reading spree so this love story had me swooning like a person newly in love. Emma did a great job putting these two together. They are both broken and hurt and wanting to move on. Only things are hard for Elliott because her divorce is new and all she is thinking about is taking care of her girls who I adored. They were strong for their mother and fell in love with Duke as well.
Duke is just getting out of a bad relationship as well and all he is looking for is a little fun with no strings attached. Only when he and Elliott decide to hook up emotions are flying all over the place and they try hard not to put their hearts on the line but that is hard when the heart knows what it wants. Plus Duke has always been known as a bad boy so can Elliott let him in without getting hurt?
This is a must read second chance love story of two broken hearts mending each other to become one beating heart.
Fixed is book 2 in this series and while I think you would be okay reading it if you haven’t read book 1 first I highly recommend reading them in order so that you understand the full story. Elliott is trying to put her world back together after catching her husband being unfaithful. In an embarrassing and hilarious encounter the last thing she expects is to be face to face with her best friends brother. However, he just might be the distraction she needs.
Duke is out of the Army and not looking for any kind of relationship but the chemistry between him and Elliott is out of this world and before long the two of them can hardly be in the same room without it catching fire. Both of them believe that they are too broken for the other, but they may be exactly what the other one needs.
This book had me feeling so many emotions. My heart was breaking for Elliott and what her ex put her through. Trying to be strong for her girls had her taking care of everyone else except for herself. I love these characters and was so excited to finally get Elliott’s story after getting a peak at it at the end of book 1.
This is a must read series for sure! – By Alisa
Fixed is the second book in Emma Louise’s Flawed Love series and I LOVED Elliot and Duke. Elliot recently found herself divorced and raising her two little girls living in a house she’s borrowing from Poppy (Flawed Love book 1), but what she doesn’t anticipate is a houseguest a/k/a Poppy’s brother Duke. Duke is a former military man who is trying to start fresh. What starts out as a friendship and a mutually beneficial living situation smolders into something hot with tension you can cut with a knife.
Enjoyed reading about these 2 trying to find their way as they fight through the obstucals that life keeps throwing into their paths.
