There is nothing more annoying than making a deal with the enemy.Jordan Moore made up her mind about Cash Abbott the first time she laid eyes on him. He is a player, not her type, and whenever he’s around, he is constantly stoking her temper.Cash can’t seem to help himself. He’s sometimes amazed by the things that come out of his mouth when she’s around—probably because he can’t figure out why … out why she hates him so much.
The pair has a history of ruffling each other’s feathers in under five minutes, but they are forced to make a deal that puts them on the same team. They must find a way to make their friends and family believe they’re in love, and they need to do it without killing one another.

A cute “frenemies” to lovers book. It was fun to watch the banter between Jordan and Cash, who you may have met in previous books in the Twin Oaks series. While their surprise Vegas marriage may have left them a bit confused, the way they pull together while navigating the situation is heartwarming. Their bedroom scenes are hot, and their pranks are laugh out loud funny. If ever a couple ever deserved to find their HEA together, this one is it. They truly are perfect for each other, as they both overcome past hurts and a fear of commitment. It was fun to again see other characters in this series. I enjoyed this next installment of living in a small town with people who have big hearts.
Oh my, enemies Jordan and Cash wake up hungover and married in Vegas and start trying to figure out what happened and how to undo it. Unfortunately, Cash’s client is ecstatic that he got to see them get married and he thinks that the wedding contained the passion that was missing from Cash’s business proposal. In order to cement the deal that could make or break Cash’s business, Jordan agrees to stay married to him in name only until the contract is signed. Neither is crazy about lying to their family and friends but they don’t feel that they have a lot of choice.
Jordan moves in with Cash who lives in the house that Jordan has always wanted to buy because it played a big part in her past. Cash tells her that she if free to remodel the entire house but his office. Jordan enlists Tucker’s help in the remodel.
The sparks between these two “enemies” are out of control and then there are all the surprises thrown in like a dog or two, a voodoo doll ceremony, the jokes and the passion. You will have to read to see if Jordan and Cash can go from being enemies to a loving married couple with a strong future. This book is more fun when read as part of the Twin Oaks series and I would really like to live in that town.
I voluntarily read and reviewed a complimentary copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Jordan and Cash don´t seem to put up with each other and avoidance is their strategy to keep from biting each other´s tail, until… they woke up married after a long night of drinking in Vegas. For a first, it was easy to reach an agreement to null the marriage, until… his business is jeopardized if Cash doesn´t show up married with Jordan at his client meeting in a few weeks! For a second, they reach a deal to remain married and live together during this farse. While the avoidance is inevitable, both get to know each other better and a friendship starts to grow and their attraction spirks, until… the time arrives to end the farse… In this story we laugh with their pranks and sassy dialogues and feel all the passion and the fears that rises together with it. Both need more than a little push to reach the HEA they never dreamed about!
This is the fifth book in the Twin Oaks series. I thought this story is wonderful and I truly enjoyed reading it. The characters Jordan and Cash have great chemistry and I enjoyed their story. Its a funny, sweet, and a small town romance. It well written and a good storyline.
I read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are of my own.
This book puts a unique spin on an unplanned Vegas marriage. Cash and Jordan discover very quickly that they have chemistry in the bedroom, but struggle to make sense of what they’re feeling outside of it. Reece Taylor does an excellent job of adding humor to each story, and this one was no exception. The pranks had me laughing out loud. This was another fantastic small town romance that I definitely recommend.
Fit To Be Tied is Cash and Jordan’s story. Cash and Jordan love to hate each other. They each have work reasons to be in Vegas and through a little scheming of a friend, meet up. They had no idea all the animosity would explode in the bedroom. They agree to a mutually beneficial deal and things progress from there. The story is a good one. The idea has been done before, but this one has a twist that makes it a little unique. Jordan’s reason for agreeing is different, she
Is a bit nostalgic. I liked Cash and Jordan’s chemistry, I don’t like it when people are contrary purely for the sake of being contrary, but it didn’t last for these two or go over the top, just enough to show their initial dynamic and their growth throughout the deal. The prank war was a funny addition and I loved the dogs! Sweet small town romance! Looking forward to the next!
Waking up married to your enemy was not how Jordan and Cash expected their day to start out and when his client was witness to their marriage he is overjoyed and so begins their fake marriage that soon turns into something unexpected. Loved this sweet funny hot romance that Jordan or Cash saw coming but it hit them both between the eyes.
This book is just as amazing as the previous ones. It moved along at a great pace, which makes it an enjoyable read, has characters that you cannot hep but fall in love with and no matter what want to see happy and over come whatever may get in their way and a story that will not let you down, that keeps you interested from the very beginning until you have read the very last page. This is an amazing book that needs to be read, there is no doubt about it.
Finally: Cash’s story!!
I’ve wanted Cash’s story for like, 3 books now and it did not disappoint. This book is fast-paced, hilarious and HOT.
Super quick read, despite being full-length. Lots of dialogue. No shortage of the hilarious antics of the Twin Oaks gang and the pranks they pull on one another – which is what makes this series stand out from all the other romance out there.
Written in present tense, alternating POVs.
Won’t comment on the editing or formatting, as I read an ARC.
I ended up feeling the characters’ feelings before they even admitted /realized them themselves.
Taylor really did a great job with this one and as always, I cannot wait to read more in the Twin Oaks saga. I completely want to live there.
