I was gifted an ARC of Firsts by the author and going into I wasn’t sure what the hell to expect. I’ve NEVER been more pleasantly surprised than I was with this book. Now, I will say that this book is DEFINITELY not for everyone. It’s for the lover of the extremely taboo and forbidden. Which I am.
Firsts is such a deliciously twisted tale. It crosses so many different boundaries and will leave your jaw on the floor more than a few times. I promise. Silas has been friends with Leia’s mother for years. He was even best-friends with her estranged father before that which makes this book forbidden in itself. Add an age gap that includes a minor (like I said, not for everybody) and it’s a mixture of hot and dangerous that makes this book hot as hell fire. If that isn’t enough for you to want to read this book then just add the sweet and sexy Brax into the mix for a love triangle so hot it’ll make you question whether you’re #teamsy or a #braxter. Have I mentioned yet that I’m a big fan of Sy’s? I am. It’s true.
Really guys, this book was steamy treat. While reading Firsts, you will be on a taboo filled journey that will leave you breathless.

I’m almost speechless after finishing this book! It is one major astonishing book. I’d classify it as a love it or hate it type, one of my favorite reads. It definitely brings taboo to a whole other level and I loved it! I almost feel somewhat guilty for even saying that.
Most of all I liked the fact it was so much more than just a sexy taboo book. I’m left with so many questions because as I read it I wanted more. The author really wove in mysteriousness that kept me on the edge of my seat. It absolutely captivated me, kept me up all night and left me wondering what the heck I just read! I need book 2 immediately!
5 Stars for next level taboo and a mind-blowing read. Highly recommend to those who can handle it!
This is a Taboo book, if you don’t like certain subjects because they make you uncomfortable then do not read this book isn’t for you.
I enjoyed this love story that seems to take the turn to a love triangle. This being part one of a duet does end on a clifhanger. It has Taboo relationships, it is a coming of age for the heroine, I enjoyed watching questions arise in this story and am currently anxiously awaiting for part two.
I did have the privilege to obtain an ARC, however I bought the book out of how much I enjoyed the story.
OMG LOVED THIS BOOK!!! I literally couldn’t put this down! I’m so glad that one of my reader friends recommended this book to me! It was just what I was looking for and now I’m stuck in a crazy book hangover because of it and CANNOT wait for Lasts to come out so I can read what happens next! This book had some surprises and twist that I didn’t see coming and it literally kept me on the edge of my seat while reading! I loved it!!!
First is 2 part series. Amazing. Can’t wait to see what unfold in the next book. This book is taboo, has some very dark subjects, so some may not like. But was well written. It page turner. I througly enjoy this book, first time reader of this author.
