Great story about three young people and their life struggles and their faith. Really enjoyed reading.
This was well written and very interesting.
The best book I have read this year. I will certainly reading more from this author!! Love love.
I enjoy Robin Hatchers writing. I would recommend this book.
About life with very real characters.
I can’t imagine the stress of living a lie for so many years. Yes, it’s a novel, but the situation is very real. I empathized with both the main characters. This book showed the necessity of both honesty and forgiveness in a relationship. An excellent read.
There are lots of books about adoption and how it effects families over the years. This one looks at the adoptee, the adoptive parent and also the birth family (woman, husband, and son). It also looks at what happens in relationships when a spouse is afraid to tell what happened years ago and it suddenly becomes evident. How does a Christian handle this? How can one forgive? Good read.
Great book! Had a great message of grace and forgiveness.
A wonderful story of strength and love and depending on the Lord.
I love all books by Robin Lee Hatcher. And this book did not disappoint. A contemporary Christian fiction that is more than a good story, it teaches a lesson.
A surprise daughter shows up causing riff in entire family and friends. Happy ending after listening to God and forgiveness.
I loved this book. No way I can imagine how Ericka feels in the story, but I felt a lot of emotion in this story. I wish the story had 2 parts: prior to adoption and after adoption. I hate to read stories that have chapters going back to the past, then to present. I get lost. Wonderful story.
I loved this book so much that I couldn’t stop reading it. I felt like I was right there with the characters as they interacted with each other on a painful journey of discovery. Firstborn is a great inspirational story of forgiveness and love.
Great story.
