When the games become real, all bets are off in love and war…DominicI’ve been staring at Luz for who knows how long. Hell, all of last year. But something in her calls to me as surely as the full moon. Unfortunately, she only has eyes for Lucas. So call me a sucker for punishment, but I’m going to help her. if she wants to draw the alpha’s attention, what better way than dating his second in … alpha’s attention, what better way than dating his second in command? Even if it is fake.
Should be easy as pie… Then the weird killings start in town, and the Reapers make my job harder. Looks like I’m gonna need all the Romanian courage I can muster to see this to the end – if I survive it.
Lucrezia
Something about Lucas changed, and lately it’s all I can do to stop panting after him. Considering the past I’ve run away from, that’s saying something.
Then Dominic comes with this crazy idea: pretend to be his girlfriend, to make Lucas realize he’s got the hots for me. And the plan almost works… Until I start falling for the wrong guy. Oh, and somewhere in there, find out I live in a town ruled by werewolves. And some of them want me dead. Why can’t life ever be simple?
*Book I in a paranormal shifter series filled with werewolves of all kinds, feisty females who stand up to them, and enough suspense to make it interesting. Can be read as standalone.*

I was reading over the summary of the book before writing this review. The summary says it all, there’s not much more I can say about the story itself. But I will say, this is one of the best werewolf books I’ve ever read. Alexa Whitewolf was born in Romania and she grew up in the Transylvania region surrounded by epic mountains and a never ending stream of legends and stories. So between the legends and stories she grew up with and a very active imagination, you can see how she came up with the creation of First To Fall where Dominic came from Transylvania and the legends followed him.
I love Dominic (Dom) and Lucrezia (Luz)…they are such an awesome couple. Luz is a bit of a firecracker!! You cannot help but fall in love with Dom and Luz. The others in the pack: Lucas (pack leader), Tristan, and Finn are interesting and have there own story and I hope as the series goes on we get to learn about each pack member and see them get their mate. There’s so much I’d love to talk about, but I will give too much away. But you will love this story, it’s full of romance (of course), werewolves (duh), surprises, twists and turns, so much suspense!! It’s not just some romantic werewolf book, it’s very exciting!! There’s battles and people get hurt. So much happens! I was up late at night finishing it, because I couldn’t put it down!! I highly recommend this one guys!! 5++ Stars!!!
Alexa Whitewolf’s “Moonlight Rogues” is an excellent paranormal shifter series, where elements of paranormal fantasy mix, romance and shifter lore that brings the whole genre to a whole new level by delving into real mythology, which not only give the characters a credible background but offers a whole new set of information based in real traditional history.
First to Fall is the first book in the series tells the story of Dominic (Dom) and Lucrezia (Luz) from both characters POV. Dominic Kosta’s childhood in an orphanage in Transylvania, has let some open wounds in his spirit. Despite being adopted by an American couple and having a nice enough upbringing, Dom’s past plays an important part in his life and story and Alexa Whitewolf makes an excellent job in interweaving real Carpathian mythology and fiction elements into a very interesting first story in the series that immediately makes appetite for more. The plot mixes some very funny situations with serious thriller elements, which balance the story and makes for a highly satisfying book. Dom romantic interest in Luz is so heartfelt at all times, despite his tendency to find solutions that keep putting a smile on our faces. The love triangle is a such a joy to watch, while we keep rooting for Dom in spite of everything else. The pack/family are wonderful rendered and the remaining three guys (Tristan, Finn and Lucas) an interesting lot, we want to know more about…. Luckily there is a book dedicated to each of them in the series
Alexa Whitewolf writing style is excellent, smooth, crisp and entertaining, with a very well-crafted world and wonderful characters and an abundance of real myth and folklore elements that give highly interesting background story without overshadowing the action and romance in the stories. A captivating lecture from cover to backcover.
I thought this was a good book. I thought the storyline was interesting and well written with a good flow. The character work was good and I would recommend reading.

Will she fall for one or all four? Luz moved to this town to get away from an ex-boyfriend who attacked her. She loves working in the office of the auto body shop, and the four guys that work there are hot also. But when she starts dating Dom, she finds out they are werewolves, and rival packs are creating problems in the town. Their pack of four needs to find out what is going on and stop it. But then they find out Dom, who was adopted, is related to the pack who is killing and eating hearts. Can four werewolves and one human stop a large crazy pack? I liked this story. It was a story with mystery and action with the paranormal mixed together. I was hooked from the beginning and found it hard to put down. The characters were a hoot and I loved how secrets are revealed. The scenes and interactions between characters was fun to read. Just a good story.
ONE THRILLING EXTRAVAGANZA!!!
Hatching hellhounds! Alexa slides a live round in the chamber, locked and loaded for bear, revving this baby up, letting loose and breaking it down, fusing this little gem together piece by piece flawlessly. Lines blur and boundaries crossed, limitations are stretched and bent, flinging this bad boy forward, kicking it into overdrive, slamming it into a tailspin with an intoxicating culmination. Anarchy runs rampant and havoc is rife, rousting the drama, intrigue, spiraling suspense and intense situations, along with a double dose of secrets while dodging calamity, you have one mind-blowing masterpiece. One action packed, hard hitting, pulse racing, heart pounding, adrenaline pumping, page flipping bombshell, twirling hotter than a flaming inferno and more explosive than dynamite. Meting out incredibly, well rounded scenario’s that punch dead center, ramping up the anticipation and adrenaline with such intensity and precision, thrusting this gem to a whole new level. The attraction and chemistry is intense, high octane and combustible. The characters are realistic, intriguing and authentic with depth and qualities that add just enough flaws for diversity. The scenes are so vividly detailed and descriptive it gives the illusion you were right there in the middle of ground zero with them. Fantastic job Alexa, thanks for sharing this bad boy with us.
I enjoyed this PNR, it has all the elements you want from a werewolf romance, but then a bit more. Luz is a strong character and not at all a pushover.
Not all werewolves are the same and this book is not about meeting your mate and just swooning off into the sunset.
Dom loves Luz from afar until he sees a chance to get closer to her. Luz ran from her past and wants to get closer to Lucas. Dom’s werewolf past is intriguing and adds a lot of extra werewolf history to the story.
Enjoyable story, if you like werewolf romances then you won’t be disappointed.

A Steamy & Dangerous Werewolf Love Triangle With A Lethal Bite!
Overview: Lucretia has eyes for pack leader, Lucas, but it’s his renegade Beta, Dominic, who feels an undeniable compulsion to be with the former runaway. When Dom suggests he start dating Lucretia to help her make Lucas jealous, more than one heart is set up to be broken. Maybe a brewing war along the pack’s border will help Lucretia find true love.
“First to Fall”, Author Alexa Whitewolf’s first chapter in the Moonlight Rogues Series, introduces Paranormal Romance fans to a tense, fast-paced, and gritty world of pack-life as seen through the eyes of four sexy and dynamic male werewolves and the young woman whom they have taken into their protection. Through the eyes of Lucretia (Luz, for short), a human who, at first, has no clue about the pack members true werewolf natures, we get to know four highly charged, vastly appealing, intense, and irresistible young men who come from a diverse set of international backgrounds.
An unusual rivalry and suspenseful love triangle develops when Luz becomes smitten with her benefactor—the pack’s Alpha, Lucas. Believing that he can win Lucretia’s love by demonstrating to her that the Alpha cannot possibly be the romantic partner she’s looking for, Dom formulates an agreement with Luz to force Lucas’ jealousy with a pretend romance. It’s at this point in the story that Author Whitewolf introduces a major danger factor into the plotline and begins to show her expertise at creating a twisted and edgy paranormal romance that will result in more than one individual getting gravely bitten.
The tense and chilling rivalry that Whitewolf conjures up between Alpha Lucas and his Beta, Dom, could not come at a worse time—Just as an all-out war breaks out against a rival pack trespassing on their border. Things escalate when both the rival pack leader and Lucretia’s ex-boyfriend threaten her safety, setting Lucas’ pack on high alert and causing mayhem among its members. The challenge for the author to keep the pack’s true identities hidden from Lucretia wanes as the plotline moves forward, but Whitewolf scores big on releasing their secret at just the right moment, causing panic and mayhem for everyone involved.
“First to Fall” is a steamy paranormal romance with bite. Readers will enjoy the riveting but sometimes comical interplay between Dom and Lucretia as they parade their newfound romantic relationship before her concerned patron, Lucas. Drawing heavily on folklore and influences from various international cultures to explain the contributing characters’ backgrounds in this tale, Whitewolf weaves together a story that contrasts a sexy yet almost comedic love story with the threat of a vicious pack war. I highly recommend this novel for werewolf fantasy fans and paranormal romance readers ages 17 and up.
I normally don’t read a lot of the werewolf type books because when I want a werewolf, I want a real werewolf, blood and gore! However, I really liked this paranormal romance! I loved the whole pack of wolves thing going on!
It’s told in dual POV’s between Dom and Lucrezia, and I loved them both! The one thing I have noticed with Alexa’s writing is that she knows how to write swoon really well, especially with it not being overly ridiculous! And I loved these two characters together!
Don’t worry though, you also get some suspense, some original folklore (at least I think it’s original because I’ve never heard of it), but if not, then it hasn’t been overused before. Also for those of you who love stand alone books, you can read this one by itself because the next one is a different boy from the pack!
Welcome to Rockland Creek – a quaint little town with a seemingly unconventional werewolf pack; a place so cozy, you’ll want to move there, and so full of grotesque creatures, you’ll want to leave it in your rearview mirror.
Albeit being PNR, this series is anything but your typical paranormal romance. Fast-paced action scenes, thrilling suspense with mysterious bad guys (yes, there’s more than one villain in this book!), diverse characters, awesome mythology from all over the globe, and quite a few surprises – Whitewolf’s world provides everything your heart desires without depriving readers of some steamy romance.
When Lucrezia first came to town the men of Claws garage helped her settle in. Working with the four hot guys would be any red-blooded woman dream job. Having a crush on the boss though, can make things difficult.
Dominic has wanted Lucrezia since the first day, but with Lucas throwing around all those Alpha pheromones she can’t see anyone else.
We have a collection of very different types of werewolves who have joined together to make a pack. Each has their own special abilities. Our hero is from Romania, the land of vampire legends. That plays a big part in this story.
Danger comes to town. Someone from our heroine’s past, and long lost relatives who nobody would want to have.
An exciting start to a new series that will have to be read in order. All wonderful characters that I have already fallen in love with. I can’t wait to read the next book.
