Maybe you guessed it…and maybe you didn’t. But I’m not telling! You’ll have to read this installment of Dragon War Chronicles to learn what twists and turns are in store for the dragons and SLIPS. AG Carothers is a skilled story teller keeping readers’ attention and weaving a believable and complex tale. This is not a standalone and stories should be read in order for the most enjoyment. I expect this author will be titillating and entertaining readers for many years with more unexpected tales and surprises.
I have written, rewritten and agonized over this review. How do I describe the flawlessness of A.G. Carothers’ latest work? I’ve finally come to the conclusion it just isn’t possible to fully give First Strike: Dragon War Chronicles the recognition it deserves.
The character development is among the best I have ever seen. It is a credit to the author when as a reader I feel so much for the characters that I am passionate about my feelings, whether it’s love, hate or even mentally (and sometimes vocally) begging for an outcome I want.
A.G. Carothers masterfully pulls out emotions. I was crying, I was yelling, even laughing at times but most of all I never wanted to let go. It’s impossible not to sink into the world the author created. I lost all sense of time as I was immersed so deeply in the A.G. Carothers’ newest book.
As always, A.G. Carothers delivers on originality. It is a rollercoaster ride that I never wanted to leave. I devoured this book. I have loved every novel in this series but this is my new favorite. There’s a reason this series is among my most reread. It’s impossible not to fall in love with it. Not to mention those scorching hot scenes that had me blushing and needing a fan. Be prepared to be swept away by the magic this author creates. The next book can’t come soon enough—I need their words. I’m fully addicted.
5 stars for an addictive, magical and emotional read!
Wow! They did it again. Sucked me in at the first word.
I can say that they have become one of my favourite authors.
I love this series. The timeline is so precise and I didn’t read much authors who could manage so many characters this good.
It was an emotional rollercoaster.
I loved it. It’s beautfully written.
I recommend it if you wanted to read something paranormal, funny and kinky.
First Strike is the third book in The Dragon War Chronicles series by A.G. Carothers. This series keeps getting better and better with each book.
Its filled with fast paced action, steam, captivating plotline and well developed and wonderful characters. I found myself felly engaged in the story and anxious to see what unfolded next. AMAZING!
I received an advanced reader’s copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review and recommendation.
I received this book as an ARC and this is my honest opinion
And the story continues, now with a lot of surprising action showing us again how strong Danica’s character is. Also, we got more hints that helped us to understand better the relationships created between the MCs and the humanity hidden inside the dragons. In my opinion with every book the series grew better and better. This book needed to be read as part of the series to better understand all the twists and turns in the plot. Loved it!!
This book to be honest didn’t appeal to me as much as the first two for a number of reasons. 1) They changed from story with erotic moments interspersed with a great story to story interspersed with over the top erotic moments. 2) Parts totally confused me, and i had to stop reading go back read again, which kept pulling me out of the story. I understand fantasy books have a large cast of characters but I need a glossary of who is who and how they are connected.
I am hoping Book 4 goes back to more of Books 1 and 2 as I love the main characters and the story premise but it seems to be going a bit wonky.
