A well written story with a great storyline. This is Cleo and Zane’s story about the things Zane learns after his father is killed, and the romance between them. I enjoyed reading this book. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This was a nice little novella. Cleo was a wolf who refused to make her first change which usually happens at 16. She is now 18 and graduating from high school when she finally gets to interact with Zane, the alpha’s son and football player. While they are attracted to each other they both believe the other won’t notice them since they are so different.
A first love storyline where Cleo has the courage to fight for her beliefs and Zane loved her for who she is.

Cleo has always been made fun of because she’s not willing to confirm to being “normal wolf” and shift. She holds her ground but when the Alpha’s son starts paying attention to her the dynamic of the pack and their lives could be in jeopard.

I loved this! It grabbed me from the first page, kept me til the last and enthralled me in between. Well worth your time to read it.
Too bad that Cleo never shifted and was made fun of it. It’s really nice that Zane’s wolf said that Cleo was his mate
And then Cleo realized it also. Love the book!
