He wants to be my first, and he’ll pay anything to make it happen.I joined the First Times for Sale website on a dare. It’s not something I’d ever seriously consider, I mean… who sells their virginity?I didn’t think someone would message me.Definitely didn’t think I’d consider his offer. But talk about sexy– and he’s clearly rich. Something has to be wrong with him. He’s got to be a creep, or … him. He’s got to be a creep, or broken, or dangerous.
I tell myself this so I can try to resist my curiosity.
And so I can resist messaging him back.
Then I hit reply, and worse, I agree to meet him.
It started as a dare.
How will it end?
This is a standalone novella with a HEA and NO cheating!
Penny Wylder writes just that– wild romances. Happily Ever Afters are always better when they’re a little dirty, so if you’re looking for a page turner that will make you feel naughty in all the right places, jump right in and leave your panties at the door!

An Intriguing & Unique Take on the Billionaire’s Virgin Romance… When life gets boring there’s always one sure fire way to liven it up. By indulging in something hot as sin, written by the taboo queen herself, Penny Wylder. I am pretty much always keen on passing a few hours with a Wylder story, and this one was as filthy and over the top as I’ve come to expect from her.
“First & Last” is a billionaire’s virgin romance of sorts. It is the story of Joyce, a twenty-something virgin who, during a drunken girl’s night, puts her virginity up for the highest bidder on an online “firsts for sale” website. And Declan, a mysterious billionaire who is a patron of said website and sets his sights on the beautiful Joyce. What ensues is a stimulating game of cat and mouse. One where we see Declan obsessed with out bidding every other man on said site, while also pushing to get to know the intriguing virgin who has bewitched his senses. And despite not personally being a huge fan of the whole virginity trope… I found “First & Last” to be an interesting take on the, rich-man-wants-a-pure-untouched-woman-to-call-his-own, story mantra.
Here, Wylder’s take on this all to often silly and underwhelming storyline is unique and thought provoking. It explores an interesting side of web-land and our modern social landscape. Honestly, a quick internet search of the topic instantly shows how much this very thing already exists and the surprising popularity of it. That coupled with Wylder’s sublime character development, and her ability to create literary chemistry between her male and female leads. Chemistry that literally burns the pages it’s written on. Led to yet another compelling tale I could have easily read another thirty chapters about.
My only complaints about this book? One, it feels rushed. I wish it would have been longer as I would have liked to have seen an expanded view of Declan. To have had him brought out from the shadows a bit more instead of being left to wonder what he truly is all about. Additionally, and most importantly for me, the entire book is written only from Joyce’s perspective, and by the end I desperately longed to have a few chapters from Declan’s point of view. Without his pov it was hard to fully grasp his mindset, his actual view on the entire scenario beyond his brief admission of “curiosity”, and his actual view on what his character’s alpha-esque declarations actually lead to in the end. As after the final event with Violet you’re sort of just dumped into the ending. Something that left me feeling unsatisfied.
However, despite my disappointment at the lack of fullness of the story. As well as my prickly nature about virginity trope stories in general. This one, is an engaging, sexy story overall. And an enjoyably filthy way to pass a couple of hours.
is was a really fun perfectly paced read. It was the story of a 22 year old virgin named Joyce and a Declan. Declan is a billionaire older man (early 40’s) who is looking at a website to see what is out there in the “dating” world. After getting drunk one night with her best friend Violet, Joyce finds herself with an account and in add on a website called First Times for Sale. This website is where people can auction off their virginity for money. The very first bid is for $50,000 (and it greatly increases throughout the story) and Joyce finds herself interested in the process and the option of this new adventure. Declan stumbles upon Joyce’s add and becomes obsessed (in the best way with Joyce and is determined to make her his. I loved the interactions between Joyce and Declan and their text messages to each other. The story was fun and sweet and there were times when the pages slightly ignited. The plot was well written and thought out and I loved that there was very little drama or conflict as the story mostly revolved around the two main characters. Declan was a great alpha male, and as a sucker for possessive, slightly obsessive males he became my favorite character fast. I was a little disappointed in Violet and felt that her character might have been better off deleted from the book, but that is what makes her a memorial character. The ending was sweet and a perfect way to end the story with the few moral questions that might have been raised. My favorite line: “You clearly forgot that I already made you mine.”
