Loved, loved this story and author.
It was refreshing to see a real problem covered in a romance novel. Rape is a difficult issue to deal with.
Love it!
Tender romance grows out of a terrible situation. Beth is raped by her boyfriend and all the ramifications that this involves are explored in this book, especially when everyone knows each other and family ties are long-established. It ends up being a HEA feel-good book, but if you don’t want to deal with the pain of rape, this may not be the book …
Not believable … there would be more counseling involved, more close friends to help, Didn’t want to finish
This book by Suzie O’Connell should be added to the senior reading list at all high schools or maybe earlier. It deals well with the tragedy of young relationships. It’s a real page-turner and one that makes everybody think about what could happen to their children. It gives a great picture of how young adults can survive when they have a strong …
loved this book
It took way too long for the female to do what she needed to do. And in the meantime I was grinding my teeth for it to finally get to the end. I was surprised it was not as well done as this author usually does her books.
I couldn’t put this book down. Great story line and characters
Really enjoyed the characters and story line.
Great
A beautiful story
When two friends who have been forever help each other through a difficult situation you realize what true love & friendship is and what love can to do help heal.
The author dealt with a very difficult subject matter. This could be difficult for some to read.
I liked the characters, but the situations they were put in were at times strange. I (kind of) understand this reactions, but sometimes it looked like their love was enforced on them by the situation. All in all a book that should be read.
I thought it odd that our heroine doesn’t have any close girlfriends because she is portrayed as a very lovable character. But the bad guy is really bad and our two main characters are great.
It’s very predictable. You kind of know what’s going to happen. The ending lacked depth.
Totally worth reading. Love the story line and all the characters with in the pages of this book.
really loved the characters and their development.
She was so lucky she had the recording where as most women don’t have that proof. Sad reality where the attacker gets off.
I like how realistic the feelings were portrayed by the characters.
