Amy Abrams doesn’t do love. Nor does she do emotional attachments, unless you count the connection she has with designer handbags. She grew up in an Upper East Side penthouse, which had about as much affection within its tastefully decorated walls as Castle Dracula. Her family is the precise reason why she points her red-soled heels firmly in the opposite direction of that dreaded four-letter … word.
Then it happens. Love. It comes right out of the blue and knocks her off her six-inch heels. She learns that love comes with pesky side effects such as heartbreak, which seriously messes with the complexion. Amy promises herself that she’ll never open herself to that horrible feeling again. She doesn’t count on an infuriating, albeit drool-worthy biker to roar into her life and ruin the plans she had of locking up her heart. She keeps her distance, wary of the sinfully sexy biker whose tattoos should read Warning – dangerous alpha male, will screw up your life.
Amy may be an Upper East Side princess but she wasn’t looking for Prince Charming. She wouldn’t mind the name of his hair stylist, though. Brock certainly isn’t a knight in shining armor, but he consumes her, body and soul. Drama pulls them apart; danger will bring them back together. When Amy is threatened Brock is there ready to save her life. Her heart is another story.

ALL CONSUMING
Any and Brock have a firestorm reaction to one another but Any is so set in her ways. My favorite thing about this author is the really strong females she has and it really shows completely though with Amy.
I loved Amy so much in Making the Cut that I couldn’t wait to dive in!
And she did not disappoint. I mean, who doesn’t want to be her? She is probably one of the most witty, sarcastic women I have ever read. She is just fantastic.
And Brock…’He has tanned skin, which was contrasted by some serious blue eyes. I felt them pierce my soul; okay, my ovaries.’ Some of his lines hit me right in the heart; okay, my ovaries!!!!!
The fact that they bickered so much endeared me to them more!
Now I need Macy and Hansen….I’m about to hit the author up to see when their book will be!
As with Making the Cut, I have read Firestorm more times than I can count. I just hope I can do this book justice in a review…
I love Brock & Amy…. This is my favorite book by Anne Malcom. The passion between these beautiful characters is something that will stick with me for a long time. Amy is one of the strongest heroines I’ve ever read. Brock is a badass… And they balance each other SO. WELL. There was a fantastic balance of passion, drama, suspense, humor…. You name it, it was there. I definitely, highly recommend this book!
The Sons of Templar are back and sexier than ever, with a buttload more action & violence, a big serving of alpha male broodiness, side of sass and a dollop of extra hotness. Firestorm is Amy and Brock’s story and their story absolutely killed me! It’s a total rollercoaster ride of emotions, considering we get to read about Amy and Ian’s history. There is also the unknown of would she have chosen Brock from the first moment?! It’s a scary thing.
To be unloved your whole life from the first people you expect love from, you start to toughen yourself up and avoid any situation where you can have your love rejected. So when someone comes along who see right through yout facade and continues to bulldoze his way through your walls, you get a bit scared & continue to doubt yourself. This was what Amy was going through. To everyone, she’s this sassy, well dressed tough girl who is uncaring to being rejected, but nobody really seems to see that vulnerable, insecure girl inside of her. Except Gwen and now of course Brock. She doesn’t take that well. But Brock won’t take no for an answer. And you can only avoid something so much til it catches up with you. In this case, it was like a bomb waiting to go off. It exploded and the fireworks were mesmerising.
Anne continues to draw me in with her characters and her words. My love for alpha men and sassy heroines basically means everything she writes is perfection to me. Ever since I’ve started this series, all I’ve wanted to do was just completely immerse myself in the Sons of Templar world and live there forever. Firestorm is the perfect combination of sex, angst, action & love. It’s ultimately a story about following and trusting your heart. And loving someone wholeheartedly, you’ll never be the same again. All with the backdrop of bikers, boutiques & family drama. I’ll always cherish Amy and Brock’s story.
5 Crazy Stubborn Stars
Firestorm is the second book in the Sons of Templar MC Series. It tells the story of Amy and Brock, their story is one of many up and downs.
Their banter is hilarious and chemistry is off the charts. Brock from the get go knows what he wants and gives Amy her space at times when she needs it. When the unthinkable happens Brock comes to Amy’s rescue without question.
“You growing up to be who you are is like a flower growing through a crack in the sidewalk.”
I loved this book and from the first page I was hooked. Amy is hilariously funny, strong, and very loving. She comes across sassy and is very stubborn. In the end of the day she will thrown down for the people she loves. Brock and Amy’s relationship is such a struggle and at times your not sure if they can get past the dark. This story is told from Amy’s POV and Although I loved it, I would have loved hearing from Brock’s POV as well. Anne also knows how to have the perfect secondary characters. I loved this in fact I think it makes the book ten times better.
If you love MC suspense this book is for you! I will be diving into the third book in this series as soon as I can. All Anne’s books are on Kindle Unlimited which is great.
An intriguing, suspenseful, and highly entertaining ride to go on. Brock and Amy are an oddly matched couple but completely perfect for one another. I adored their fierce but sassy banter, their chemistry was undeniable, but the back and forth was frustrating. I loved every moment.
I loved it. Drama, crime, tons of humor, romance and friendships were throughout the book. Adrenaline ran high and Amy’s story held no secrets.
Yes, it could be a standalone, however, all the players from Making the Cut have roles in Firestorm. Therefore, I personally would start this series in order so as to enhance your reading enjoyment.
I was so happy to be back in the world of sons of Templer and I was no disappointed once again, as this is only my second book by Anne Malcom I am becoming a big fan and hitting my head again’t the wall with frustration of why its taken me so long to read these books.
I really loved this story as this is the second book in this series we got to know Amy and Brock in the first book which meant the story was so easy to start, they were funny in the first book and it was even angsty between these two just thinking where their story would go.
The thing that this story had was the background story which was needed and usually I hate going back in time but in this book I loved it but it was necessary
What I loved about this story was that we got where Amy came from how she was the this funny and whitty character who’s sarcasm was what I loved reading she made me laugh with her one liners and what would come out her mouth and the way she annoyed the crap out Brock was awesome, but what we learn about Amy is that she struggles with rejection and abandonment and you can understand the way she acts but I loved her she was one of my fav characters.
Brock was your typical alpha biker with him being possessive, protective and even a knight in shining armour, but he was strong, sexy and someone that could certainly cross my path.
I really loved this story and every time you think that possibly nothing else could happen something else will happen, this story had it all it was emotional, fantastic storyline, action packed it had you wanting to read this book in one sitting.
Loved this book and if your an MC fan then you need to get into this series.
Amy is my kind of my girl, sarcastic funny and loyal. I just loved every snarky cutting comment she made she’s not shy about letting her feelings be known. The author nailed her love and commitment phobic personality perfectly. Amy and Brock not only put the reader through turmoil but themselves too. Who knew Brock was such a sweetheart he made my romantic heart sigh. Will he win her over who knows but it was an entertaining ride.
I originally put off reading this because I really liked Ian in Making the Cut and I didn’t want Amy to be with anyone else, but I am kicking myself now because boy was I wrong and I loved this story. Anne Malcom sucked me in with the story of Amy and Brock, she also had me teary a couple of times and also laughing with the sarcastic remarks Amy threw around.
Amy is one sassy, firey, independent and smart woman.
Brock is an OTTP alpha male who is loyal and protective of what he considers family.
Amy and Brock have quite an explosive connection, they are both loyal, protective, independent, stubborn and fiercely passionate. While it took a while for Amy to finally accept they are ment to be together it was a angsty, rough and long path to get to that moment but it was worth evey moment. The chemistry and sexual tention is off the charts explosive and the sex is steamy and hot.
This series is quickly becoming one of my favourites and I am hooked on these alpha ott bikers and their sassy heroines. I am looking forward to reading the rest of the series.
OMFG!!!!! OMFG!!!! OMFG!!!!
I’m so at a loss, now that the audiobook is done!!!
Such an extraordinary audiobook and ebook!
Seriously between the groundbreaking narration from ever talented Emma Wilder and an exceptional storyline by the ever talented Anne Malcom.
Lordy, you can’t any better that combo!! Sheer audio Gold!!! Now time to dive back into the series via ebooks.
Well, I’m honest here I need more!!! It’s just on a whole a new level of exceptional work. AAAAA+++++++++
I received an ARC for this book…. It was amazing. Anne has outdone herself again. Amy is absolutely hysterical in this book.
I like how Anne speaks about the past and now we know what was going on with Amy/Brock/Ian when it was referenced in Gwen’s book! She definitely fills all the holes from the first book regarding Amy/Ian and Brock.
Great story line that captures you in. I started this at 8PM and stayed away until 3 AM because I couldn’t put it down. I like this book because you really get to know Amy….in Making the Cut Amy comes across a little hard and strong. She is all that but you get to see the soft side of her. Brock….well he is awesome what a great character. He constantly sees through Amy and knows what she wants and how to take care of her. All of action and grit…. can’t wait to see what the future holds for Brock and Amy. Don’t want to spoil the book but definitely pick it up its a page turner. I would highly recommend reading Making the Cut prior since it picks up right where Making the Cut left off. The romance is steamy…… story is engaging and you really get ulled into the story of Brock and Amy.
I would totally recommend and can’t wait for who is next in this series. Anne definetly alludes to a couple few potential future relationships. By far one of the best new series I have read this year!!!
This is the type of book I normally don’t read, as far as the story keeps going back and forth, past and future. At least I learned how Ian was killed in the war. I like the last half of the book the best. It’s just boring when I have to go back and read what happened in the 1st book.
Brock and Amy. This was a ride. Had me so angry, so sad and so happy. Love a book that can bring out many emotions. Such a great book.
Sparky and her Otto
What can I say that I haven’t already said about this MC series?
It was amazing, like always. I loved Amy in Making the Cut. She had that “give no crap” attitude that I absolutely love.
This book was full of hilarious and snarky replies. I loved how much she got on Brock’s nerves. I kinda felt bad for the dude, but, that’s love right? Lol
Why do Anne Malcom’s book always make me cry?? There was this one particular scene where Amy had to read a letter from the dead and it completely broke me. I mean, how Amy was in her car crying hysterically, I was at home doing the same.
It was beautiful to see the different kind of loves you can have in your life. Anne showed that perfectly.
Brock… Brock, Brock, Brock. I want a surfer looking biker with a sexy man bun. That man had me panting quite a few times.
Like Cade, Brock is all alpha… in every aspect!
Can’t wait to start the next book and read ALL ABOUT THAT BULL!
Thoroughly enjoyed this book. Full of the great characters I have come to expect from Anne Malcom and this one had the addition of some tears. Amy and Brock’s love story is not a smooth one but it is definitely worth it.
Highly recommend this book
This is the second book in the ‘Sons of Templar MC’ series and the second book that I have read from this writer. After enjoying the first book in this series I really wanted to read more books of this writer.
For people who read the first book, they met Amy and Brock already. In ‘Making the cut’ we could see little bits of their interaction with each other but that was it. Just little bits, as a reader you just knew that there was much, much more to the story!! So I was really curious for their story.
If someone would have told Amy some years ago that she would be an owner of a clothes shop in a small town, she would have never believed it. But then her life changed a lot since she met her best friend Gwen. Now, her best friend is married to Cabe (the president of Sons of Templar MC club) and she’s a mother of a beautiful daughter. Amy is very happy for her best friend but she, herself is struggling with her own heart and mind. Amy never believed in love until she felt in love with her best friend’s brother Ian but he broke her heart. Now there’s someone else that wants her, the sexy, alpha man and rough biker Brock. But Amy is stubborn, she is determined to never give her heart away again. Just having hot sex with him, she can do but love, no that makes her run away from him. But then Amy gets kidnapped by a very dangerous man. A man that will stop at nothing to get what he wants. Can Brock save her on time? And if so, will Amy stop running from him?? Or was it never meant to be between them??
This story is told from Amy’s POV, which means that Brock is a bit of a mystery in the book. We do get to learn his feelings and thoughts but only when Amy discovers them. When I started this book I had my ideas about it and I wasn’t sure that I would like it as much as the first book, simply because Amy was in love with two men (that was the conclusion I had after finishing book one) but the writer did a great job of convincing me that life and love isn’t as easy as that. Amy is classy but also feisty, wild, stubborn and very loyal. She’s very weary of love and Brock has his hands full with her but he is the perfect guy for her. In the story we again had some suspense, some danger, many alpha men and emotional scenes. I’m really happy that I discovered this writer and this series. Because it was just what I was looking for. A good MC story, nothing dark but with a little suspense and a lot of hot alpha men!
