I could possibly handle one sexy firefighter. But two at the same time?Being a waitress was never on my bucket list. But everything changed when two gorgeous men walked into our restaurant.Best friends. Firefighters. Rugged. Hot-as-Sin. Jeremy the sexy flirt. Exciting and wild. Max the quiet protector. Stoic. Patient. And tough. With a chest and shoulders to die for.And the best part? They both … shoulders to die for.
And the best part? They both want me.
When my apartment burned down, they came to my rescue – and offered me to move in.
Next thing I know, I’ve got the two hottest firefighters roommates ever.
That night, it just sort of happened.
As they tantalize me and take me from both sides, I realize that it’s impossible to want anything less.
Sparks fly and we can no longer control our filthiest desires.
Jeremy and Max are alpha AF, and they’ve learned to share.
Can a girl be this insanely lucky?
Nicole’s Note: Firefighters Next Door is a hot ménage romance for you to enjoy. It’s the sixth book in the Temptation Next Door series, but it can be read as a standalone. No cliffhanger, no cheating, and Happily Ever After guaranteed!

One Damsel in Distress and Two Hunky Rescuers
Not scorching hot but this book will definitely singe you and leave you nicely warmed up. This threesome is made up of Max, Jeremy and Alice. If you have read Mr. Fix-It, book 3of the series, then you may remember Max and he is Joe’s brother. Max and Jeremy are firefighters in the same firehouse and also roommates. One night they head to a local diner and take an interest in their waitress Alice. Alice needs a bit of help when a group of bikers come into the diner and start to harass her. So Max and Jeremy step in to rescue her. They become her rescuers the next night when they are called to a fire in an apartment and find Alice there. Now she has no where to live so they come to her rescue a third time and offer her the spare bedroom at their place. Alice is a real damsel in distress and Max and Jeremy just love to step in and save her!!!
Well it soon becomes an interesting living arrangement at the house as both Max and Jeremy like like Alice and she likes both of them. She is not able to choose but she may not have to in the end.
This story is not a scorching hot and erotic MFM story, as I have read and enjoyed this genre, but instead a more moderate telling of the MFM tale. It is still very enjoyable and was a nice read. The story-line is interesting and had some additional elements and twists to it and the characters were well developed. I did enjoy this sweet love story with a beautiful HEA.
I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
Jeremy and Max embody sweet, seductive, sexiness. While the firefighters are out on a call, they rescue a woman who turns out to be the waitress at the diner they frequent. Alice has lost everything in the fire when Max and Jeremy step up offering her sanctuary and safety. When her ex threatens her the men vow to keep her safe. Fires all over town, danger looming and sexy times the book makes for a good read.
Max and Jeremy. My guardian angels. Truly what did I do to deserve men like them?
3.5 Scorching Stars!
When I saw this book, it was an instant add to my ARC list….I adored Prince-Next-Door, and planned to catch up on the others from the series but haven’t gotten time. When I saw it was a MFM romance, I was both intrigued and slightly nervous. So many times authors think they can tackle that “field” and fail to deliver a great story. Instead, its either absolutely unbelievable, way to 80s pornish, or insanely cringey. Would this one succeed where so many haven’t? I have to say while some portions of the story were a little (okay A LOT) predictable and slightly disappointing, the romance side of things 100% exceeded my expectations.
Book Facts: Told from our three leads POV, this standalone is part of the Temptation Next Door series. Each book is novella size and can be read alone, although they do interconnect at times (for fans of previous installments). It features a HEA and some adventurous sexual situations. Alice is working a dead end job at a diner, saving money to enroll in college and make something of herself. In that very diner is where she comes face to face with two firefighters that could star in her fantasies anytime. She has no idea that they will soon save her life in more ways than one. When a fire burns down her apartment building, she is forced to face a past & an ex she ran from…..forced to rely on the two sexy rescuers for a place to stay. Max & Jeremy feel something for her but she can’t choose, and why should she? Can’t they all be happy together? Or will jealousy and psycho ex-boyfriends get in the way of their HEA?
Timeline of Reading:
Starting: I hope this is as good as Prince Next Door!

23%: I LOVE the guys back and forth banter…. they are hilarious.
28%: Babadook is scary af….totally with you Jeremy.
36%: Cookie & Wilma might be my fav ever secondary characters….so funny.
50%: You can’t blame it on alcohol when you’ve had ONE BEER!
57%: Max is definitely more my type BUT Jeremy could totally get it too. You go Alice!
61%: I so appreciate Nicole making it “awkward”…. makes it feel more authentic.
69%: Kinda want to roll my eyes at the Kellan predictability of this story.
84%: Relying a little too much on this “Kellan” backstory….
95%: Awe Hayley is adorable!
Finished: Didn’t like it as much as “Prince”, but absolutely LOVED the guys!
“The Five”:
Loves from Book: Cookie & Wilma, Jeremy & Max’s friendship, Yoink, Jeremy’s word vomit, Max’s roughness
Honorable Mention: the guys different “love languages”
Hates from Book: “kind of cute”, Alice’s constant stuttering, Kellan West, men who touch without permission, the whole “arsonist” plot point
Quotes:
The world didn’t seem so dark when Alice was around. She just had a way of brightening up a room.
-Max
“Excuse me. Did I hear that correct, little miss? I have so many questions. Are you alright? Is there anything I can do to help? Which of those boy toys do you like better? Because I’ll do you a favor and go after the other one.”
-Cookie
I rarely ever got hung up on a woman. But one look at Alice and I was hooked. She was too bright, too hot to turn away from –kind of like a blazing fire.
-Max
“You can’t walk around naked anymore.” “I don’t do that,” he snapped, “that’s you.” I chuckled. “Right, right. Purely by accident, I assure you.” “Once is an accident. Every morning after your shower is you being an ass.” “Asserting my dominance,” I corrected smugly.
-Jeremy & Max
Was I supposed to say something first? And if I was, what was I even supposed to say? Hey, man. Guess who got laid? Us. Yeah, no, that’d be stupid.
-Jeremy
Final Thoughts:
I was a fan of Prince so I knew I enjoyed Nicole’s writing style already. I loved how so many aspects of the relationship felt authentic. From the awkwardness of the morning after to the way Alice didn’t “fight” her attraction….I appreciated that we weren’t treated as idiots, I mean what single woman wouldn’t say yes to two hottie firefighters with hearts of gold? But more than anything, I absolutely connected with and totally swooned over Max & Jeremy’s friendship…..from their ability to read each other to the fact they have each other’s backs, they are complete opposites yet perfect for each other (friend wise). Jeremy’s hilarious word vomit & Max’s silent roughness were such strong points of the story. And the icing on top: Cookie & Wilma—I would work any job anywhere IF those two could be my co-workers.
What I didn’t care for was the absolute predictability of the whole arson drama. Not only was it quite literally thrown in our face multiple times, but it just lost its momentum early on because it was obvious it was going to happen. Had it been left to the one incident and instead that space been used to squeeze another smexy scene in I would be one happy lady. Well while I’m being needy, lets tone down the excessive stuttering of Alice in the first half of the book…. we get she’s nervous and shy, but it was a bit on the overdone side.
Despite the little things I didn’t like, I still enjoyed the read. It was quick & sexy, and I’m all for not choosing….. although if I had to, it would definitely be Max lol.
Alice was ours to protect. Ours to love.

This was really good, the chemistry between Alice, Jeremy and Max was not only electric but sweet. My only wish is that when Jeremy referenced part of his personality, it was capitalized on.

Easy read, with great humor, sass, steamy moments, drama, and love. I like that Max and Jeremy had opposite personalities and that sharing Alice is something new for them and it wasn’t the norm.

***I decided to review an ARC of this book.***
I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.
In this book we meet Alice, Jeremy Rodriguez, and Max Cato. Alice is working a double at the dinner one night when all the the local firefighters stop in for dinner after shift. While there she meets Jeremy and Max and find them to be very helpful when a group of bikers come in and harass Alice. If only that were her only problem. You see Alice just recently broke up with her now ex Kyle. Next her place burns down with all the money she was trying to save up to go to college on and she has no friends or family to move in with. Jeremy can’t believe his luck he has finally met a woman he really likes and she shoots him down when he asks her out. Max can’t believe it either though he like Alice too he thought for sure when he saw them talking she would go for him. Now neither man can help it when they go to the fire and find the one woman neither man can keep their mind off of. Will they all find the HEA they didn’t know they wanted but now are truly hoping for or will it all go up in smoke?
This is a hot hot hot book. It does have its ups and downs I really want to tell you about. However I don’t want to ruin the book for any other readers. I will say this book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
Alice is a waitress who wants more from her life. She is a friendly, caring person who has adjusted to her new life and wants to eventually go to college. Max and Jeremy are firefighters who come into the diner. They are both attracted to Alice. When Alice’s apartment burns down, they agree to ask her to move in with them. One thing leads to another and they become a beautiful threesome. This is a great, quick read

I loved this! It grabbed me from the first page, kept me til the last and enthralled me in between. Well worth your time to read it.
Loved the Chemistry!
This is not the first time I read a story by author Nicole Casey, but I have to say it’s my favorite. This is the first time I read a story in this series and was impressed. I really like Alice, Jeremy, and Max. Max and Jeremy really were opposites. It was really nice to see how they both were able to fill a need for Alice that she needed in her relationship. They were both protective and loving toward her. I loved it! I would definitely read this story again!
