Fire To Dragon by Tonya Cannariato is the third book in her excellent Red Slaves series.
Anne found her world completely changed when she travelled to Russia. Thinking she was going there to do an investigation she didn’t expect to find that she had links into the history there. She didn’t expect to find out she was a dragon. And if that wasn’t a lot to take in she then finds out she is the Queen of the Russian dragons.
Struggling to find her footing in this new world Anne is plunged into a race to try and find her missing court before her enemies catch up with her.
This book was a brilliant addition to this series. The story has really been progressed well through all three books. I have loved the character of Anne and I really feel like I’ve been taken on the journey with her. The story was just as interesting as the first two and very well written. A great book and an even better series.
Anne has found out that not only is she a dragon, but the queen. Now she has to find her court while raising her children and keeping her mate happy. Unfortunately the FSK is hunting her and allies have betrayed her. What’s a queen to do with all this trouble? Ask for help.
Fire to Dragon is the third book in the Red Slaves series from Tonya Cannariato. Each book has progressed and been better than the last, which is saying a lot because book #1 was a five star read for me. I will say this would not be my absolute favorite of the series so far, but was still good and a great little read. I would not recommend that you read this as a standalone novel. These are sequential books and each picks up off where we left off in the previous novel.
Anne is set to be the next queen of the Russian Dragons. She is leery of this responsibility as she is still learning exactly how to deal with her powers and the fact that she herself is a dragon. It was nice to see that her mate, Ivan was more of a steady for Anne in this novel. There were several twists and turns that I didn’t see coming in this book, and I was pleasantly surprised by them. It kept things interesting and had me hanging on through the few moments that I wasn’t fully entranced. Those being few in and of themselves though. I can’t wait to see what will come next for Anne and her supporting cast of characters.
Fire to Dragon by Tonya Cannariato is the third book in the Red Slaves series. This needs to be read in order to understand the story and get the full impact of the series. The story continues with the American Anne and her Russian mate Ivan. I have enjoyed the setting of this continuing story. It is well described and helps to aid in the fantasy and mystery of the story. Anne is becoming more complex as she is coming to terms with her place in this world and her dragon self. Ivan is a good supporting character and his relationship with Anne. I have enjoyed this series but really enjoyed this book and read it really quickly. I look forward to reading more from this author in the future.
Fire to Dragon is imaginative fantasy by Tonya Cannariato and the third book in the Red Slaves series, this is a continuing storyline so make sure to read the books from the beginning. Anne is still coming to grips with the changes in her life and to complicate things further she now needs complete her court. Who can she trust? The storyline in this series flows flawlessly from book to book, and the author has done an amazing job writing this story in a way that makes you feel like you are living it along with the characters. Anne’s character is especially well written, the growth in the character is seen through out the series as she gets stronger and more sure of herself and I can’t stop cheering for her! If you are a fantasy fan, I highly recommend this series!
Fire to Dragon (Red Slaves Book 3) by Tonya Cannariato continues with more danger, mystery and drama. Anne will do anything to keep her family and friends safe but what happens when friends you thought you could trust show their change in colours. Whilst still struggling with what she has become, trying to keep them all safe and learn the ways of her new world she finally understands what she has been holding back and how that has impacted on her mate. Tonya’s writing style and sizzling plots make this another good read.
This is the third book in this series. This series keeps getting better with every book. I enjoy the character Anne. She takes me on an action packed journey of coming to terms with her life and accepting who she is. The other characters are also connectable and true to life. I could easily see them in everyday life despite the fact that some are paranormal. This author made me feel as if I was right there with them. I highly recommend this book.
An American finding out they are actually royalty is a strange enough adjustment. Throw in the fact that Anne is still trying to get a grip on everything that comes with learning she is no mere human. Being a dragon, a queen, and a queen without a court, all the while dealing with angry Russian politicos is almost too much to handle but Anne is stronger than she knows and has her mate Ivan to lean on. She must now find the missing dragons that make up her court. They will bring answers, security, and immortal bliss.
Tonya Cannariato knocks it out of the park with the third book in the Red Slaves series. Everything is fleshed out with the rich detail I’ve come to expect.
5 Stars
Fire to Dragon is the third book in the Red Slaves Series by Tonya Cannariato. As this is the third book in a series, with a continuing storyline, so I highly recommend reading the whole series in the correct sequence to get all the relevant backstory, character information and important details- all of which will enrich your reading experience of this book. The Red Slaves series is a fantastic paranormal/fantasy- that has plenty of action, danger, drama, magic, dragons, romance, mystique, and intrigue. A lot has happened since book 1. Anne has had to come to grips with quite a lot of changes, responsibility, and discoveries. There is a lot riding on her getting things ‘right’. I really have enjoyed this series, and Ms. Cannariato’s interesting take on Dragon Lore. She has a flare for original and imaginative stories that are dynamic and enthralling. After book #2, I couldn’t wait to dive right into this book and see where she takes the storyline and I must say that I think this is the best of the bunch, so far! I hope there are more books in the pipeline.
Thank you, Ms. Cannariato!
