If you can’t stand the heat
What a wonderful way to start a series. The author has taken her hallmark steaminess and gave it a paranormal flare. I love the characters and the way they have their ups and downs before finding their HEA. The author built this fantastic story that kept me on the edge of my seat while still steaming up my glasses. The danger really went all the way to the end and I enjoyed the way she prepared us for the next book. I am looking forward to seeing what happens in book two.
strong>Intriguing read
I always look forward to a good shifter story and this one did not disappoint. Lovely story line and likeable characters. It’s my first read from this Author and and my interest is peaked.
WOW! WOW! WOW! DEFINITELY LOVED THIS. DEFINITELY STEAMY! DEFINITELY an actual story.
Another of the shifter finding their mate romances, with some danger thrown in. But it was not ordinary, due to interesting characters, and more of a story than just convincing someone her destiny was to be a shifter’s mate. I enjoyed this one.
Really great read
great read
Devin and Damon are twin wolf shifters and firefighters. Devin is the Alpha of their pack and Damon is his second. When they are called to an apartment building on fire, they find three people still inside. As soon as Damon gets a whiff, he knows she’s his mate. Caroline is a nurse and wouldn’t leave her apartment building without her neighbor and little boy. Caroline has lost everything and is now homeless. When Devin finally gets to see her, he is her mate also. They invite Caroline to come and stay with them for a little while. But Caroline has some past baggage and doesn’t want to open up herself to being hurt.
A woman who doesn’t know what she wants. To me she keeps jerking the guys around. And who goes and stays with TWO strangers. A lot of editing mistakes. Crazy, wild sex.
Great characters, good book!
hot
Could not put it down, now I have to read the rest of the series!
Enjoyed reading this book
Not enough elements of realism to support the suspension of disbelief.
An excellent read for a long or rainy weekend
I like the cover. The book however was boring, very little was going on but it was going on at warp speed. The author just sped through everything except descriptions of rooms we really didn’t need. I didn’t care about any of the characters, there was no tension. no build up, just flat telling us, not a whole lot of showing, and boring sex scenes. It reads like a very early effort at writing before the author learned how to put a story together with some feeling and grit and guts. This sure doesn’t have it.
3.5-4 stars. Caroline is Whiney and I get that she has suffered a lot but come on. She is so wishy-washy. Goes from happy to crying to phases off and stubborn in a hot minute. Like a jacked pregnant lady. Come on. She needs to grow up and adult already and stop running from her problems. I loved the guys. Devin has hot aloha in spades and Damon has enough dominance but with the easy going laugh vibe. They all work well together. Loved it.
