Small town librarian Cherry Deschamps is perfectly content with her safe, mundane existence even if others might consider evenings spent with a mug of hot cocoa, bowl of Ramen noodles and a Netflix marathon boring. When the panty-meltingly gorgeous “Mr. Hollywood” enters her life, showering her with gifts and attention, of course she’s skeptical. She’s learned from an early age that exposing her … exposing her heart will only lead to pain and heartache.
Cezar fights every baser instinct he has to win over his human mate—including behaving in the ways of a human male. In the end, however, it may take the fiery passion and fierce possessiveness of his dragon to convince Cherry that she’s worthy of being loved.

I loved the characters of Cezar and Cherry.
Cherry was the quiet town librarian who was happy in her quiet life. I loved this about her. Yes, should would have loved to have someone in her life but she loved her job as she just got a promotion and that was fun to see. Cherry was also a very relateable character being she had self doubt but yet she had moments of strength and I found that very refreshing.
I loved Cezar. He was a dragon shifter that was trying SO hard to be a human. He was reading all these self help books to woo the girl and doing everything right but yet oh so wrong.
I can’t wait to read more in this series!
Another swamp dwellin’ dragon gets a mate
Whooo-weee! Those likker-imbibin’ dragon-shiftin’ hotties rule the swamp! Cezar meets his mate, and his match, in Lousiana’s gator-infested, castle-concealing steamy bayou country. Laissez les bon temps rouler.
arc review For honest review. Cherry is a head librarian and has a twin sister ,but she always feels like she is frumpy . So when cezar a dragon shifter comes into her life she never though she was good enough for him. Awesome story
He is a dragon from another world. She has just made head librarian. He wants a mate and his friends mate’s nephews talk him into signing up for a dating app. He doesn’t know how to work a computer so he goes to the library where she is. He finds her and now wants to take care of her. But she has been abused most of her life. She has a twin. I highly recommend this.
Highly entertaining, sexy, fun, action packed and engaging adventure filled with danger, mystery, magic and smoking hot passion… loved this page turning story. Dragon shifters are my favorite and the dragons of this Bayou do not disappoint… really enjoyed reading this story.
I have been looking forward to this book since Beast came out. Cezar is the most civilized of all of the dragons. He puts forth an effort to understand humans way more than the others. After watching Beast flounder with Sky and spending more time with Sky’s nephews he is determined not to make the same mistakes finding his mate. You will laugh your tail off at how much influence the “younglings” (as Cezar puts it) have over Cezar and his attempt at finding a girl. Once he finds her, his courtship is so funny. Cherry is another story. I understood some of her insecurities, but I was a bit disappointed at how hard on herself she was and that “I’m not good enough” attitude made me angry. I loved Sky and the boys taking it upon themselves to talk to her to help. This was just what I was hoping for. Cezar is my favorite dragon. I requested an advanced reader copy and am under no obligation to leave this review.
