Tennessee Rowland is a perfect 10. A beauty queen. But she’s hiding secrets.Levi has wanted Tenny for a long time – practically all his life. Too bad she’s a few thousand miles out of his league. After all, she comes from a different world. She’s the favorite daughter of the wealthiest man in town. She’s the opposite of everything he is and everything he’s ever known. He’s never had money. He’s … never had money. He’s no one’s favorite. When he was just a kid, his mother ran off, leaving him with his father – a mean, bitter drunk with a vicious back-hand.
A guy like Levi should forget about the high-class blonde with the sassy smile. But Tenny has a secret.
And that secret changes everything.
Levi Scranton’s the strong and silent type, but he’s got trouble written all over him.
Tenny knows she should stay far away from Levi. His father is trash. His mother skipped town years ago. But Levi is all Tenny can think about. She’s always been the golden child, always done exactly what was expected. But the tall, quiet man with the warm, sultry gaze makes her feel safe for the first time in her life.
Everyone says he’s from the wrong side of the tracks. Too bad Levi’s the only man she wants. He might be scarred, and he might come from nothing, but he plays the starring role in her heated dreams.
They both have secrets. They both have scars.
In one stunning moment, when the past comes storming back, Levi and Tenny will have to choose between love…or betrayal.
Fire and Love is the third novel in the Firefighters of Long Valley series, although all books in the Long Valley world can be read as standalones. It has some strong language, and oh my, sexy times. Enjoy!

Love all the books
Some friendships are able to raise us above the impossibly miserable beginnings of our lives to deliver us where we need to be. A sweet and honest read.
Rich protected daughter and the boy from the wrong side of the tracks.
I love this troupe especially because it had its own twist on it. The above statement is correct but yet in this book, while Levi was born on the wrong side of the tracks, he still a great guy. He may not have a lot of money but he he is a good friend, works hard and is proud of the things he does have. He tries to take care of his dad even though his father is awful.
Tennessee was raised to be the perfect wife and nothing more. Her parents taught her that the most important things in life was throwing a great dinner party and playing the piano. A woman should be seen and not heard. I loved that Tennessee wanted to break out of this mold. She didn’t want to do anything crazy, she just wanted to matter.
Watching these two dance around each other was fun to read. In the beginning they would fall back on old stereotypes and say hurtful things. I was glad to see them apologize and start to look a little deeper.
I also liked that they had each others back. There was some big revelations in this book and it was nice to see the other one being silent but still present.
his is such a good book, and I learned a few things. If you read the last book, you will remember that Georgia broke up with Levi and got together with his best friend Moose. Georgia’s cousin Tennessee was with Moose, but she always had feelings for Levi. Levi’s father is the town drunk and Levi didn’t have much of a childhood. Moose’s dad helped Levi out and even paid for Levi to learn welding. Levi now works for Moose’s father at the local John Deere. Levi thinks Tennessee is beautiful, but he isn’t good enough for her. She is a beauty queen and her parents are rich. Tennessee has everything—or does she?
Levi and Tennessee both have preconceived notions of the other. Thank goodness Georgia is around to knock there heads sometimes to get each one to think a different way. We always seem to want what some else has, and think the other is better off. Levi and Tennessee are no different. I enjoyed watching the two fumble their was into a relationship. They had to learn many things about the other to move forward. For the most part, they were good for each other. There is also something surprising in the book. You need to read it to find out what happens. I loved the book, and strongly encourage you to read it. I voluntarily read an Advanced Reader’s Copy of this book.
I’ve waited a couple of days before leaving a review of this book, as it left me feeling pensive, despite the positive conclusion to the story. From outward appearances, Tennessee seems the perfect woman and Levi the town’s scum. Nevertheless, they have been attracted to one another for so many years that they have forgotten when they first noticed each other. Levi and Tenny getting together was just not on the cards for so many reasons. However, a camping trip brings about the catalyst for change and they both have to rethink their lives, where they have been, where they want to be and whether or not they are willing to continue dealing with toxic relationships. The novel is well written, dealing with issues that often pass right under our noses without us being aware of them. It also gives one an understanding of why it is that when one person in a family chooses to change, not everyone is happy about the status quo being upended. Having met Levi in previous books in this series, I was really glad to be able to read his story. I already had a soft spot for him when I started reading this novel. Tenny, on the other hand, started out being the sort of young woman that one has difficulty warming up to. Watching her evolve into a real flesh and blood woman was gratifying. Although this book is part of a series, it is nevertheless and standalone and has a happy ending. I received a copy of this book as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.
I love this author her books just keep getting better.Although all her books are standalone they are all interconnected with HEA. I can’t wait to see what she comes out with next

fun read
An enjoyable read. I would love to give it a higher review, but I can’t. There were to many areas where I felt part of the story was missing.
I volunteered to review an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Levi has always lived embarrassed by being the son of the drunk in town and being beaten and hungry all the time. Luckily for him, the family of his best friend took him in and helped him giving him food and paying for his studies.
Tennessee has always had what she wanted. Her parents gave her all the things money can buy except love.
At the beginning of the book, I didn’t like Tennessee very much but soon enough I realize she was something else. She was just trapped by her parents in a meaningless life. Levi feels like he had lost his best friend because now he has to share him with her girlfriend.
All the secrets and revelations in the book were a great surprise. I didn’t see any of them coming.
I like more things about the book but that would be too much to reveal, so you’ll have to see for yourself buying the book.
I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book.
Levi and Tennessee could not be more different in every way yet their attraction to each other is undeniable. This is a good, honest and well written book with a complicated romance, some humour and a HEA. All credit to Erin Wright for not shying away from … and handling beautifully … difficult conversations, straight talking and problems in society that most people either don’t know about or don’t talk about.
Fire and Love follows straight on from Moose and Georgia’s story in Inferno of Love. Having said that it is also a perfect stand-alone book. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and highly recommend it. You will not be disappointed.

This book grabs ahold of you and doesn’t let go until the very end. I loved Tennessee and Levi together and the way he helps pull her out of her shell. Tenny is the oldest daughter to the richest man in town. She has been groomed to be the perfect wife and was due to marry Moose since they were young. They would join the two richest families in their town. Levi’s dad is the town drunk who didn’t care for his son’s well being. This book had me going through so many emotions from laughing out loud to crying. The characters were so well written that you will feel every emotion they go through.

Can a novel just make you laugh one minute and bawl with tears the next? Yep, this one does. Oh my! My emotions were just all over the place reading this one. I have loved all of the books that Ms. Wright has written. I so want to move to this fictional town of Long Valley. Levi and Tennessee are just another wonderful addition to the town. I am so glad to have finally read Levi’s story.
Thank you Ms. Wright for sharing your wonderful gift of story-telling with us.
It’s always fun when we get to watch a tangled situation get sorted out . . . eventually! In Book 2, Georgia and Levi broke up when Georgia acknowledged that she had feelings for Levi’s best friend, Moose. Georgia’s cousin Tenny had been dating Moose, because their families wanted to merge the wealth together. But Tenny had always had feelings for Levi.
Complicating things, Levi’s father was an abusive drunk whose cruelty drove his wife away when Levi was very young. Made miserable by his own hand, he took it out on Levi. But Moose’s family sort of took him in, fed him, and gave him some stability in his life. Moose’s dad even paid for Levi to learn welding and hired him on at the John Deere store.
When Levi and Moose plan their annual camping trip, Moose wants to bring Georgia. Levi tries to persuade him that it’s “guys only” and a girl would be disruptive. Moose suggests bringing Tenny as a friend to balance things out. This gives them a chance to talk and get to know each other better. Levi had always admired Tenny, but because of the kind of family he came from, he thinks he does not belong in her world. With her coming from a wealthy family, he may be right that he may not be accepted as a suitable husband for her. Would they be willing to stand by each other in order to make a life together?
This book will open up possibilities. Levi and Tenny have much to overcome, and will have to experience much personal growth in facing the difficulties of any relationship, especially when the two parties have very different life experiences. But this author is magic with words and will pull the reader in for an emotional experience that will long be remembered. Don’t miss out on Levi and Tenny’s story! I am very sure this one will touch your heart!
Awesome contemporary small western town romance. Ms. Wright did it again with this book. Levi is a a welder at his best friends, fathers dealership. Levi always depended on his best friend Moose to have his back. He grew up extremely poor. So he & his best friend, Moose, both joined the fire department. Tennessee was raised having to always act perfect. They forced her to be better at most things but she’s always wanted Levi. The story has so much angst but it fits well into the story as it progresses. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I received a complementary copy of this book via Booksprout and chose to write a review. I look forward to reading future books by Ms. Wright.
WOW!!!!
“You shouldn’t swear around angels”…
“Perfect”…that is what everyone says about Tennessee. Perfect hair, perfectly dressed and perfect on the piano. “Never amount to anything”…that is what Levi has been told by his father his whole life. If there was ever two completely different people, it would be Levi and Tennessee. Yet he’s the “ying” to her “yang”. Do they have an easy road towards a HEA? Of course not. There are secrets that could destroy everything…friendships, families and lovers. All I have to say about these secrets is WOW! This addition to the series may be the most emotional read of them all.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Wow! What a great story! There is so much more to Levi and Tenny than anyone knows. This is such an emotional story of two people trying to break free of their past to be ready for their future. I am not someone who cries reading books and the end of this book had me in tears.
This is a wonderful story and my favorite of all I’ve read by Ms. Wright. It was well written, heartwarming, and emotional. I felt as if I was part of the story. Tennessee and Levi were fantastic and their story was so real. They and their story were very relatable. It pulled me in and didn’t want to let go. I would definitely recommend reading this one!

My review: 5 Stars An exceptional romance that is both Powerful and Emotional
”Fire and Love” is one of the most powerful and emotional love stories I have ever read. I was beautifully written with a captivating plot filled with several twists and surprises. It is Levi and Tennessee’s story and I could not put it down. Levi is the son of the town drunk and Tenny’s parents own the largest farm and are wealthy. Both have exceptional chemistry and as Tenny puts it Levi is “the ying to her yang.” Both come from different background, both have personal and family emotional issues to overcome before their romance can evolve. Erin is a gifted writer and this story is a WOW of a read! She does not disappoint her fans. I never give detailed spoilers but I will say this is a must read if you love her writing and this series. I have never read a story quite like this before and I highly recommend it and this series.
This is an emotional, heartwarming, sexy and at times fun story about love in a small town with long time family friends and learning that outside opinions should always take a back seat to your own…. Loved the unexpected twists this romantic journey takes.
Levi and Tenney are from opposite sides of the tracks in this small town but they grew up together and are just now exploring the possibilities of their longtime attraction. Lots of changes have been made recently in their smalls circle of friends and it suddenly opens up a whole new world for them. Loved this heartwarming and entertaining adventure.
