When you’re already a dead man, where do you go from there? Finn McGregor, aka Ian Parker, aka Snake, had been given a second chance in life. Unfortunately, he wasn’t sure what to do with it. As part of the Phoenix Skulls, Finn felt overlooked by his president and old lady for almost everything. He struggled to overcome his seedy past and the anger he still held onto, from his childhood, toward … toward his absent parents. Forging a new, tenuous relationship with his father had been easier than Finn had imagined it would be. At least he had someone to talk to that understood what it was like to have to start all over.
When his old man asks him to meet with a “friend” from Ireland at a coffee shop in downtown Phoenix, Finn’s life is suddenly upended, again. Purely by chance he meets a woman, who believes he is someone else. Finn’s used to pretending, and she’s hot…so why not? Unbeknownst to either of them, that meeting will thrust them both into danger. Through kidnapping, shootings, beatings and even murder, the two of them will take a journey unlike any other…but the question remains, who will be left standing in the end.
When Finn realizes everything he thought he knew about himself was a lie, he has two choices. He can give in to the anger yet again, and sink back down to the abyss. Or, he can man up, do the right thing, and hopefully make his club, and the woman he’s falling in love with, proud.
Hope is a powerful drug…will it be Finn’s new drug of choice? You’ll have to drop in to Phoenix and ride with the Skulls to find out. Hold on tight, and lean in to the curves!

Great addition to this wonderful start to a new chapter of the Skulls. Beck and Jace have been in Phoenix for about six months by this point. The clubhouse is still a ways off of being built but they have been recruiting new members. Finn has been there since day one though and it starting to get aggravated by being skipped over for an officer position for men that are newer then him. At the same time he can admit that his past may be a huge factor since he it has reared it’s ugly head. The one bonus is he meets Caitlin by accident thanks to a meet up but the introduction was less then smooth. This is like watching to opposing forces butting heads until they finally admit what is right in front of their face. It was great! Lots of MC details , plenty of danger, and a steamy romance all rolled into one. Perfect fro fans of the genre. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.
A chance meeting in a coffee shop of mistaken identity leads Finn and Caitlin on a journey of pain, romance, danger, revenge and misunderstandings. I love this book and the story so much. I couldn’t stop reading and wanted more. Great amazing characters that pull you in and getting more of Jace and Beck was such a bonus. I love this MC series and this is a must read author. Highly recommend this series!!!
Caitlyn wasn’t looking forward to her blind date, but her cousin insisted, seeing the guy getting off the bike she was suddenly excited for her date and heads into the coffee shop. Which ends up with Finn in a fight and Caitlyn bailing him out of jail.
Finn knew he could never have normal he was dead, but for some reason he wanted that with Caitlyn and convinces her to go on a date with him.
Realising that Finn was more than likely just giving her a line, she wondered why she was fighting it, she’d moved out here to get away from her mother and make a change.
Finn knows he has to apologise to Caitlyn, he hurt her one thing he never wanted to do and wonders if he can ever have a chance with her, then she screams. Finn wakes realising they’ve been kidnapped.
While there being held with what Finn finds he knows he has to tell Caitlyn about his past, he never expected her reaction, or for her to help him. All he knows is when they get out, he’s going to make her his.
They finally get free, but Caitlyn’s family doesn’t want him near her, her cousin thinks her mother will take her back to New York, but Finn is listening to the words of the old lady he met that said the most powerful drug is hope and that’s what he’s going to have that he will be able to make Caitlyn his.

Jessie Cooke brings the non-stop action and sizzle you want from an MC book in her new book Finn.
Finn McGregor wears the name of a dead man because his real name almost got him dead. After fleeing Ireland and a buttload of trouble, he moves to the States and assumes a new identity. Even knowing how lucky he is hasn’t made starting over easy. He’s finally getting to know his old man and he’s building something with his new MC but he knows his new Pres and Beck don’t trust him yet; in truth, he’s not sure he fits anywhere.
After moving from New York, Caitlyn has finally gotten her first taste of freedom. Not knowing but a couple of people, she agrees to a blind date and stumbles upon a sexy biker. She can’t believe he’s there for her and as it turns out, he wasn’t! Finn was really there to meet a man from his past life, for his dad, but the guy doesn’t show and he’s instantly drawn to Caitlyn, so why not play along? Unbeknownst to them this chance meeting will have lasting consciences. Finn does everything in his power to leave his old life behind him, including addiction, but it now he might be trading one addiction for another.
Drama, kidnapping, murder, etc will keep you on your toes in the one. Great characters and a solid, rollercoaster story. Great new installment of the Phoenix Skulls.

I enjoyed this story a lot. From the beginning heat and chuckles to the end, Caitlin and Finn were a wonderful couple and kept me wanting to read. I recommend this story and this author.
I received a copy of this story through Enticing Journey Book Promotions, and this is my unsolicited review.
OMG Jessie Cooke has done it again. I get an MC book where there are murders, Kidnappings, and most of all some serious danger. I loved every moment of this story and I will tell you why. It is because we get to meet two people who are total opposites from each other but when they meet the chemistry is so over powering that they need to be together.
Finn is my man he is all the way from Dublin to the US to start a new life with a new identity. He was raised in anger and danger and he was addicted to some serious drugs but he wanted a change and he was given that second chance. Then his father comes back into his life and Finn must chose what he wants to do. Go the straight and narrow or go down that bad road again?
Just as Finn is about to meet some people and make his decision he meets a gorgeous woman and he knows his life is about to change. Caitlin is there at the shop waiting for her blind date when she thinks it is Finn and Finn plays along with it because he wants to know this girl but then the danger comes and Finn will have to chose Caitlin and happiness or the bad road again.
I’ve read several of Jessie Cooke’s Skulls MC books at this point, but this one is definitely the best one yet. Ian, a Dublin native and recovering addict, is on the run, so he had to reinvent himself as Finn Aka Snake and he found himself as the newest member of the Phoenix Skulls MC club. The problem is there are still people from his past life looking for him. He met Caitlyn Brooks, who is loving and kind and doesn’t fit into his world, but he can’t get enough of her.
A great story about someone finding love while trying to turn their life around.
