New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Melody Anne begins a sizzling and heartfelt series about Joseph Anderson’s long-lost nephews.
Finn Anderson is a loyal military veteran who has no desire to live a life of luxury and ease, but sometimes a person doesn’t get a choice. His life is flipped upside down when he and his four brothers learn they’re long-lost relatives of the absurdly … relatives of the absurdly famous and wealthy Joseph Anderson. The eccentric but generous billionaire puts the brothers to work building a new veterans center, and that’s not all: Joseph won’t stop until each nephew finds love.
Finn has never expected or wanted an easy life, and he struggles with his early retirement from the elite SEAL team. But when a very confident Brooke Garrison literally sweeps him off his feet during a self-defense class he’s teaching, he thinks less about his past and more about a brand-new future.
If Finn knows anything for certain, it’s that he can’t let this woman get away. Though Brooke is tough and compassionate, the loss of her brother has left her vulnerable. She isn’t sure she can risk loving and losing another person in her life, including a very determined ex-SEAL. Can the two of them look beyond their past wounds and embrace what they’re feeling?

Story line is great, and I loved the characters. I really enjoyed reading this book and I would recommend it! Unexpected twists and turns had me reading this book in one sitting. Great storyline and character development made this book a hot and enjoyable read!
Joseph Anderson was tired of not having the pitter patter of little feet around the house because his children hadn’t found their match, yet. He takes it upon himself to find the “match made in heaven” and, inexplicably, he’s always right! That’s the little piece of joy at the heart of every previous Billionaire book by Melody Anne. Now, Joseph is made aware of a whole new family of his when the widow of Joseph’s despicable uncle comes to see him, knowing that she’s dying and to let him know that her sons have nobody else but him in the world. That little match-making spark comes to life and he’s ready to play! Finn is the oldest of the brothers and he is the one who felt the most responsibility to their mother in her last months and days. She trusted him to take care of his brothers and he became their frugal caretaker. Even now, when he has inherited his vast inheritance from the Anderson wealth, he behaves as if it doesn’t exist. He’s a medically discharged Navy Seal who is taking time to decide what he wants to do next. Brooke Garrison was a medic in the military until her discharge. Her heart was ripped apart the day she got the call that her big brother had died in combat. He was her idol and now she felt empty. When she hears that “the Joseph Anderson” is planning to build a vets’ center, she’s interested because he doesn’t do anything other than first class. Joseph’s plan is to get Finn and Brooke together under the guise of planning the vet center and she resists a little, at first, but Finn is all in. Heck, he knew after she tackled him during a self defense class, that she was the one for him and he was going to marry her. What an enjoyable story and the high energy these two bring to their relationship and their dates is fascinating. They grow closer as soon as they decide they are going to be equals in this job and nobody makes a decision without the other’s approval. Finn and Brooke are adorable and, even though I wanted to shake Brooke out of her indecision, they make a perfect couple. Another perfect match for Joseph!
The narration is wonderfully done by Teri Clark Linden. She gives each character a strong, clear voice that is laced with emotion and personality. Charming!
I listened to the audiobook and thought the narrator did a very good job.
Finn and Brooke were an ok couple once she decided she could date him. Finn stated he wasn’t hurting financially before he found out he and his brothers were part of Joseph Anderson’s family. I thought theIr dates were rather elaborate, unless he already had access to his inheritance.
I did wonder why so much focus waa put on Finn not trusting Joseph. He had no problem with the money or the project Joseph was offering. I thought he held on to his mistrust a little too long.
I also thought about how much effort Finn was putting into trying to have a relationship with Brooke. Did she reciprocate? Even after she decided to date him? To me, it seemed like it took a while before the relationship balanced out.
Once they really got together, this book was about supporting your significant other, overcoming past issues, family, love, and romance. Finn was a lighthearted read with little to no angst, and its fair share of steamy scenes.
I truly enjoyed this book as Joseph Anderson is back at his matchmaking says when 5 new Anderson cousins are discovered. Finn’s story is sweet, even a bit sappy at times, sexy and fun. Brooke is the perfect match for him. Now all he needs to do is convince her! Fun read that I think everyone will enjoy. Recommended read.
The Andersons are back!! I have loved the Andersons for a very long time. I can’t believe Joseph has found more of his extended family to meddle in. LOL!! Another group of Andersons has joined the family. Finn is the oldest of the family and an retired Marine. He is sexy and confident and protective of his family but when Brooke lays him out on the mat he’s a goner. Brooke is a strong woman use to taking care of herself and mourning her brother’s death. I loved Finn and Brooke’s interactions and some even had me cracking up. This is a really fun, sexy and romantic story and was really relatable. Highly recommended if your a lover of the Andersons. If you’re not yet a fan then start with this story you won’t regret it.

It has been a while since I read a book by this author. Finn was a good stat to a new series. Finn is a former soldier who was forced to retire. While teaching a self-defense class he meets the town doctor Brooke. Finn has an instant attraction to Brooke and will have his work cut out for him. She doesn’t let a handsome face sway her in any way. Once things started to change between the two it was sweet. These two people are scared of losing someone they love and trusting others. This was a cute story and I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.
4.5 Finntastic Stars
Okay, so firstly I’d like to say I haven’t read the previous Anderson stories by Melody but I have read one or two of her previous books in a series with other authors and enjoyed them. Recently, I found Noah as an ARC and found myself going through the Amazon store and found Finn at a ridiculously good price….and here we are
Finn is a military veteran who was injured on his last tour. When him and his brothers meet with “the” Joseph Anderson and it’s revealed they are a part of his family and he’d like them to participate in a project he has lined up…Finn is warySuffice to say Finn arrives in town and gets taken down a notch by their resident doctor Brooke and it’s love at first sight for him But she’s not convinced
A really good story and I’m looking forward to reading more of the Anderson books and these newly discovered Anderson crew too
I was so excited to be back with the Anderson’s and this book did not disappoint, Finn was everything I have come to love and expect from this very talented author.
Finn is the oldest of five brothers and life is about to change for them because when their mother passes away they find out their father was part of the Anderson clan . Joseph Anderson will never turn his back on family in fact this is a man who not only embraces his family his meddling ways have always worked in finding true love for all the single members…..will Finn except the love and the meddling or will he fight Joseph all the way when he try’s to make him see he has a place in this very large family. Brooke is a perfect match for Finn but she is also not ready for love so will these two take a chance on love …………
This felt like I was home with my very large welcoming family, I loved everything about this book, it’s a beautifully written love story that at times will tug on your heartstrings, it has adorable characters, it’s romantic and it’s a captivating romance. Looking forward to what’s next in the Anderson Billionaires series. A must read for all sweet romance lovers.

Ruthie –
This is a new series, but intrinsically linked with the previous Anderson stories, so if you have read them, be ready for Joseph Anderson and his meddling ways – although to be honest, in this case, there is no need for him to intervene at all. I did like that Melody Anne had managed to wangle a whole five more bachelors ready for a happily ever after – although it seemed incredible that they had been local all this time and Joseph had not found them before now!
Finn is the eldest brother and he is very skeptical of the new family that has suddenly come into their lives – and not all that keen, given that they are related to his truly awful father. It takes him a long time to trust them, even when everything good is laid before him. As he and his brothers band together to make a success of the project that they have been offered, he learns what being an Anderson can mean. I might add he takes some of the perks quite happily, as they benefit his mission to gain Brooke’s undying love!
His single-mindedness in her pursuit is by times almost stalkerish, although he does promise that if she truly weren’t interested he would back off – not sure just how far she would have to go to make that clear!
There is quite a lot of world-building going on, which sometimes can be a little distracting, but will no doubt pay off in future installments… and there are plenty of hints as to who might be involved already.
A very sweet, low angst, plenty of chemistry and passion kind of romance. I am looking forward to the Veterans’ centre being open rather than just being built.

M/F Romance
Brooke has lost a lot in her life. We meet her after a terrible loss, but she’s trying to pick up and keep moving forward. She is a tough woman who is fiercely independent and loves her life. She isn’t swayed easily by a pretty face or sweet words and I really loved her friends.
Finn is coming to grips with a forced retirement. He is also having to deal with some long-lost family coming into his life. Finn isn’t a trusting person, with the exception of his brothers. Finn isn’t quite sure what to make of Joseph coming back into his life and offering an amazing project to him and his brothers, but he wants to try and make his brothers happy, so he goes all in.
Finn’s taken aback when Brooke puts him on his butt, literally, in front of a ton of women during a self defense class. His attitude that he’s met the woman he’s going to marry is over the top, but it’s also what endears him to the reader in the book. Brooke is trying very hard to overcome her trauma too. She wants to continue to build her own family but is also scared of losing more people.
This book was about letting people who love you in and learning to let go of the past and move forward. It’s a cute story about finding something and going after it, whether it’s the love of your life or family you want to forge a relationship with. I am really looking forward to Finn’s brothers and Brooke’s friends getting their own stories.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
I’m not a fan of Romance books featuring billionaires or even more richer people. I have had bad experiences with that genre, so I try to avoid it. Buuut those books usually have easy to the eye covers and I must admit I’m weak in front of a good steak, so I pick more of them than I should. This story is penned by Melody Anne. I have never read anything written by her, but looking at her work I thought she is a pro in the richer than life genre. I was eager to see what her secret formula was. I hope this book is not a good example of that, because the chemicals presented in Finn have made the metaphorical Erlenmeyer go boom. The worst part: it is not a sudden addition of a last minute reactive. Nope. We could see the cracks from almost the first chapter. Cracks that get wider and meaner along the book in a constant and unstoppable pace until the unavoidable messy ending.
In this book we meet the ex-soldier Finn at the same time he and his brothers discover they are related to the infamous billionaire Joseph Anderson. That old timer is a big fan of family and hard work, so he offers them to work in a project to build a center for veterans in a small town near Seattle. All of them accept (the five of them) and the brothers start right away with their plans to make the most of the opportunity they have been given. In that town we can also find the good nurse Brooke, an adrenaline junkie who is very independent and strong (take a note about that… it is hugely important). From there, boy meets girl and the rest you know how it goes…
If the first paragraph wasn’t clear enough, this book is bad. No way around it. Let’s focus first on the story or, better said, the lack of it. Why the hell this book has so many pages if the author barely uses a 10% to tell something? Reading this book has felt like one of Hercules labours, testing the limits of my will to keep awake while trying to make sense of the plot. At first I thought this was going to be about a guy with PTSD after his military life and an abusive father. But Finn looks perfectly OK. Then I thought Brooke’s brother death was related to the mission of Finn that went sideways, bringing a bit of drama to the relationship. But that only happened in my head, sadly. Finally, I was expecting a fight thanks to Finn’s wedsession (obsession to weddings… I’m coining it, because it is a very useful word for Romance reviews), bringing some spice to save me from the dull moments; but, once again, I was wrong. The book is boring. It doesn’t even try to entertain…
And the characters… WOW! I don’t know which ones should I mention first: the bad, the annoying or the infurating ones. Let’s start with Finn. Appart from his mandatory hunkiness, I can’t think of any other positive detail about him. I still don’t know what is his deal. He blames Joseph of imposing himself into his and his brother’s life, but he does the same with Brooke. Sorry, that’s a lie. Joseph is an amateur next to this guy. Finn behaves like a creepy stalker invading Brooke’s space every chance he gets and we are sold that that is a sexy behaviour. I’m not buying it. So far we have hypocrite and creepy. As if that weren’t enough, Finn is so obsessed with the nurse than, after 10 minutes of meeting her, he is already planning the wedding. Like seriously planning it, buying ring and all. Add mentally unbalanced to the list. Being so in love with her, obviously he gets violent the moment another man looks at her. With that we have possessive and violent. One of my favourites: he doesn’t want Joseph in his life, but will run to his side to ask him for a private jet to woo his soon to be wife (in his unstable mind, of course). I want to call him spoiled kid, but I know that wouldn’t be fair. I could keep going: he wanted unprotected sex since the first time (because he needed it… A good pair of scissors is what you really need, pal!!), his “I’m better than her, so I let her win” attitude…
Brooke is not a better character. It could have been, but the author neglects to develop her or to give her any kind of personality. No, saying over and over again she is a strong woman is not granting her a personality. If it were more than words, maybe, but in the end… she is a very weak woman who let’s everyone mold her thoughts and actions. The best example of that is when she discovers Finn’s wedsession (yeah, I’m keeping it). She is bluntly told by a total stranger that the ex-soldier is telling everyone they are getting married (without her say so…) and she doesn’t care! Not a single conversation about it. She just let it slide. It is your life, too!! Don’t let them plan it for you! Aren’t you such a strong woman? Stop being a sheep, then!!
With such terrible main couple, the romance is nauseating. Too bad, because the author is good with the naughty scenes, but I couldn’t connect with the characters and the result was unbearable. One is all about love and the other is all about sex. So incompatible. They were never in the same page and that makes the classic ending even more painful. A very looooooooong ending that felt like sandpaper rubbing my internal organs.
I could also whine a lot about the Anderson family members and their no so cute meddling acts. Get a hobby, you guys, and let everyone else in peace to do with their lives what they please! A wedding is not the ultimate goal in life. This is the XXI century…
Yeah, some readings are bad experiences. I never judge the style of an author after just one book, so I guess I will give it another chance sooner or later. It doesn’t look promising, though. I guess this kind of stories has its audience, but I’m far from it.
Melody Anne has a new series that is kicking off in a hot, sexy and oh so delicious way with a Seal that will make your ovaries explode. Three words to describe Finn Anderson is sexy, hot and courages to everyone except himself. We start with Joseph Anderson who has found his relatives and bringing them closer is his mission in a way that will well benefit all of them. Finn is one tough man to convince that love is possible even when it means fighting for it. Now Brooke is also tough and it is this toughness that has made her weary of believing love is possible. Everyone she has loved has passed or given up on her and Finn is definitely a man that never gives up. First book and it is just wow by Melody Anne and there are three more brothers in the Anderson family that will make you reach for an ice cold water. Loved it.
“I received an eBook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own.”
For Finn it was love at first sight, he fell the moment Brooke literally swept him off of his feet. For Brooke however it took a bit longer, a bit longer to learn that love doesn’t mean being hurt and that it can mean forever. This was a good story about learning to trust in other people and learn to love. To learn about family and not giving up. Overall a good read.
I’m always up for a new Melody Anne Series and Finn doesn’t disappoint. Finn is a great hero as he is a little lost because of injuries requiring him to leave his beloved career in the military. However, the minute he lays eyes on Brooke Garrison he is a goner. What I loved about his character is once he realized what Brooke meant to his heart and life he didn’t give up. He was so loveable in his desire to win Brooke’s love. He had such a great personality and didn’t let anybody discourage him and he took all the teasing from his brothers in such a fun loving manner. Brooke on the other hand had some trust issues and was trying to get through the loss of her beloved brother. She didn’t think she was ready for a relationship so she kept her walls up so she wouldn’t be hurt. Once she started to let Finn in she realized what she truly wanted in this life. Brooke’s two best friends and Finn’s brothers added such fun and laughter to the story as secondary characters.
This story is a great start to this series and I look forward to finding out how each of Finn’s brothers gets their HEA. I’m sure this author with her love of writing about big families and the ups and downs that goes with that will find interesting and lovely ways to bring these stories to eager readers.
I received an ARC from Netgalley for an honest review.
Ahhh so so so disappointed in this book. I have read books by this author before and so I was expecting an entertaining book, I didn’t that. I got an obnoxious hero, which to be honest he could have won my heart since he was military and hurt, but we didn’t get that what we got was a whiny immature man. then we have Brook didn’t like her either..
rcvd an ARc at no cost to author..(netgalley) Voluntarily reviewed with my own thoughts and opinions
The Andersons have returned with George Anderson (patriarch) discovering that he has 5 more relatives that he can help find love matches for. These Andersons are the children of George’s Uncle Neilsen. Finn is the oldest and is having the hardest time accepting George as family. Will George and Finn find a way to come together as a family?
Love at first sight, do you believe? Finn Anderson sure does. As soon as his eyes connected with Brooke Garrison’s he was a goner. Finn is handsome, rugged, will do anything for his siblings, and a total goner for Brooke. He has to actually work for Brooke’s attention and time. Brooke Garrison is a nurse practitioner in a small town outside of Seattle. She recently lost her brother while he was serving in the military. Brooke is very reluctant to have a relationship with Finn because she feels that it will lead to heartache. The chemistry between Finn and Brooke is over the top. Except Brook continually will fight it. Does Finn ever find a way to convince Brooke he is for real? I have yet to read a book by Melody Anne that I have not loved in the world of George Anderson. This is one of my most favored authors writing about billionaires, marriage, babies, and now HOT military guys. All of her heroes are alpha to their core and have the biggest hearts! Five stars for Finn by Melody Anne.
With each story I get to read from Melody Anne I am always assured there will be plenty of humor, a thought provoking storyline, lots of challenges, and a true sense of someone learning the true meaning of family. Finn does not disappoint.
Finn may be the older brother of his brood, but little does he know, there are changes coming. A committed military man, his life has been turned upside down enough already. So his latest turn leaves him speechless and overwhelmed. Yet, in the haze that followed, a shining light can be seen.
Brooke, is a broken woman. What she presents to the public is nothing close to the turmoil she carries within. Strong, smart, beautiful, independent and loveable, she battles daily for things so many take for granted. She is one to appreciate life, but normally at arms length.
If there were ever a story where two people need each other more, I have not read it. Melody Anne not only brings the hotness in this story as they discover what makes them tick. She also shares how life may be a mystery but if you follow the signs the worlds brightness will shine through in the end.
What a great job Melody Anne and a quick shout out to your quotes from Ruth Cardello. All the stars go to this story, and I am so ready to read about the next family member. This is book one of the Anderson Billionaires and you’re gonna love this one.
