The B and B and town are charming. Lovely friendships are kindled – until some of the guests end up at the police station for questioning.
Very excited for Brenda and Mac with new grand baby – real small town caring there.
A B and B attracts all types. If you like murder and mayhem in a charming environment, seems like a great place to visit!

Murder at Christmas is a real bummer.
This one has a creepy secret Santa and that is just not right Santa is not supposed to be creepy. This is a cute cozy set at bed and breakfast during the holiday season you have all the guests having a great time getting secret Santa gifts except for one her gifts are disturbing. Then there is a murder who did it and why? There are a few surprises as we go along with great dialogue you will love. It is an easy book to read takes no time at all and will make you want to read more of Wendy Meadows books. If you like cozies this is a good one to get. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
In this one it’s Christmas time again. Brenda and her crew have decided to play a Secret Santa game with the guests at the inn. Olivia is getting spooked because she is getting two gifts, one seems loving and the other one is threatening. She is staying away from one of the other guests who makes her uncomfortable but is still a bit freaked out. She gets another note telling her to meet her stalker person at the edge of the forest and she tells her friend Molly about it. She doesn’t come back to the Inn that night and unfortunately her body is found the next morning. Molly shares what she knows with Mac and Brenda and the hunt is on.

Brenda is the owner of the Sheffield Bed and Breakfast in Sweetfern Harbor. It was an exciting time for her and her husband Mac (a police man) as Christmas was approaching and more importantly they were expecting their first grandchild. All the guests are having fun playing secret Santa except Olivia, a beautiful model, as her gifts are disturbing. When she is found murdered the investigation begins.
This a wonderful cozy mystery set in a small town. While this is the 15 th in the series it is the first one I have read and think it is good as a stand-alone. The characters are interesting, well developed and charismatic. The storyline was will with twist and surprises as they tried to solve the mystery. It keeps the reader’s interest until the end. I like that this was a family working together and that the main characters were older with a new generation coming up. The narrative was informative and the dialogue was interesting. I also enjoyed the emotional drama and suspenseful storyline. The only thing about this story is I would like to read the previous books which is 14. I better get reading.

Secret Santa is supposed to fun. Especially when you have two. However, one is creepy. What is a girl to do? Why is one creepy? Enough said!
Read it just to escape for a bit. You will enjoy it. I did.
Cute, easy to read, fun escape, cozy mystery. Can be read in a day if not in one sitting. Book stands alone well. So well that I thought it was my first in this series, lol. (MY second, lol)
This is my honest and freely given review. I did receive an ARC book.
