I only wanted a cup of coffee. Alone.
It was a simple request, right? Just stroll into the coffee shop on the corner, grab my usual cup of liquid nitrogen, and walk back out.
All while minding my own business.
But I had to walk in at that exact moment. Not ten minutes earlier. Not ten minutes later. Precisely when Savannah Fields needed someone to help her. When no one except me had the courage to stand up for her.
After the incident, she looked at me like I was her hero.
But I’m no hero.
I don’t even know who or what I am anymore.
Who is Nick Tucker? A DEA agent? A criminal? Both? Neither?
The lines I crossed while undercover blurred my staunch sense of morality.
Then the auburn-haired beauty showed up at my apartment, begging for my help. I couldn’t turn her away.
The more I lost myself in her, the more I found myself again.
Or so I thought.
Even a broken clock gets to be right twice a day.
There’s a fine line between right and wrong, love and hate, heaven and hell.

An awesome read by A.D. Justice!
This is one amazing story that had me on pins and needles because I just had to know what Savannah and Nick were going to do and what they were going to go through. Nick is the ALPHA male that every woman wants and needs in their life and Savannah poor Savannah she is a nurse and just wants to help people out but she gets in a bad relationship and the man just won’t leave her alone.
All Nick wanted was a cup of coffee and to be alone. He has been undercover for a while and he is tired of the life he had to live. So he just wants a cup of coffee but when he walks into the shop he sees a woman getting harassed and no one is doing a damn thing to stop the guy bothering the woman. SO Nick being the protector he is steps in and saves her.
Then a few days later Savannah tracks him down and asks for his help. He can’t refuse her and decides to help but he never knew what he was getting into because now his heart is on the line and he isn’t sure what he will do about that.
“Fine Line” is the first book in the Crossing Lines series, and what a great start it is. DEA agent Nick Tucker has seen some stuff in the last few years that makes him wonder what kind of person he really is. All he wants is a quiet cup of coffee, not to be pulled into someone else’s drama. Savannah Fields has not had an easy life, as an ER nurse she is trying her best to live her life and forget about the past, but her crazy ex will not allow that to happen. So when NOBODY else will help Savannah, Nick steps in to protect her, I loved the nickname he gave to her ex, absolutely perfect. Savannah thinks of Nick as her undercover hero, not once does she lose her trust in him.
This book is loaded with action, suspense, passion and romance. It also deals with abuse, physical, mental and verbal. This book pulled me in from the very first page and I cannot wait for the next book in this series.
Five stars for this one, and I highly recommend it to anyone that loves romance with a slice of suspense thrown in!
Fine Line is the first book by A.D. Justice that I have read. I am now a fan!
This story grabbed me right from the start and held me hostage until the end. This book touched on some tuff subjects and the characters faced some difficult decisions but in the end these two beautiful people came out on top, tackled their demons and found love.
This was my first A.D. Justice’s book, and won’t be my last! Her writing is amazing! This is the first book in the Crossing Lines Series, a Romantic Suspense. The title is so appropriate! Nick and Savannah’s story is suspenseful, heartbreaking and heartwarming afterward. Their story is beautiful. Nick is handsome, protective and supportive. Savannah is such a strong woman. They are both great characters. I love their HEA. The secondary characters are also very interesting. The Epilogue is intriguing, and I can’t wait for the next book in this amazing Series, Silas’s story. I enjoyed my reading, and I highly recommend it!
5 Cranky Stars
First, I have to say this book is AMAZING. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. My kindle died 3 times because I couldn’t put it down. Second, AD Justice can tell a story. Her Steele Security series needs to be made into a movies. So much action, adventure and toe curling sexy scenes. Third and final…. I’m addicted to this series and you will be too once you open the book.
There’s a fine line when Nick is put under cover to take down the Devils Dominion motorcycle club. They’re as bad as they come and Nick will have to break the laws he swore to uphold in order to complete this assignment. Fast forward two years and his covers blown and his face is plastered everywhere as the hero. While trying to acclimate back to normal life he runs into a damsel in distress.
Savannah knows all about the Devils Dominion MC and is trying to escape one members clutches. Butch has beaten her for the last time and she’ll do anything to take her life back. When Butch finds her in a coffee shop and starts to manhandle her Nick can’t sit back and let it go.
This starts a chain of events that kept me on edge. Every page had me on a rollercoaster of emotions. The writing is flawless and captivating and the characters are perfectly imperfect. I can’t recommend this series and author enough. Definitely worth reading more than once.
Nick helps Savannah out when she needs someone. He was undercover for a long time and did things he isn’t sure that make him a criminal or something else. Savannah shows up at his apartment needing help, he doesn’t turn her away. The two have an instant attraction but it works for this story. A good read.
Savannah has just moved since she was trying to get away from her very abusive ex-boyfriend. While in a coffee shop, in walks her ex. As he yells at her she is trying to get away. Nick walks in and sees what is happening and helps her. Several weeks go by and they see each other at the coffee shop and start getting to know each other. Then one night Savannah goes to Nick’s place and it is Savannah. She has been beaten by her ex. After the ER visit, Savannah can’t be alone so she ends up staying with Nick. There is a backstory between Nick and Savannah’s ex which adds a bit of mystery. But these two begin having feelings for each other so the romance happens quickly. Good story of love and mystery. Just could have used a better parlay between these two falling in love. I still liked it but kinda felt it was sudden.

Another great book by AD Justice. It’s one of those books once you start it’s hard to put down.
Nick went undercover to expose a motorcycle club and now that his job is complete he’s to lay low until after the trial.
Savannah is a emergency room nurse that dated a man in that same motorcycle club Nick took down, but he’s no longer part of the motorcycle club. Savannah ex is an abusive man.
Nick and Savannah’s story brings Steele Security back into the story and I was so happy to hear those names again. Silas is back to help Nick.
Great story that’s a must read the story will have you hooked from the beginning.
A really good romance!
Nick and Savannah meet in a coffee shop when he catches her ex, Butch, trying to manhandle her out of the shop. But Nick just can’t stand by and let him hurt her, so he stops him and escorts her home. When Butch just can’t let it go, Nick realizes there might be more going on than it appears. Now he just has to keep Savannah safe from more than just a menacing ex.
This book is full of suspense and intrigue but it also has tons of friendship and love in it too. It’s one of those books that you won’t be able to walk away from until you finish it.

As always A.D Justice has written a book that will wrap around your heart. We get it all with this book. We get a romance, lots of action and the suspense that we all love.
Nick never thought walking into a coffee shop would turn into saving a woman’s life. After being deep undercover, he’s just trying to forget everything he had done. Everything changes in that one moment.
You will be flipping the pages to get to the end of this book. I can’t wait for more in this series.
Highly recommended.
This book pulled me from the very first page. What lines will you cross when it comes to your job or when you find love at last especially when you least expect it!! That what happens for Nick and Savannah!
This book is emotional at times and funny but all in all very emotional. I been in that place that Savannah was in!! Its brutal and unforgiving it takes every little piece of you bit by bit until there is nothing left!!
AD Justice did her research and brought the pain to life!! Well done!!
This is the first book I have read by A.D. Justice. This was well written and has wonderful characters. The storyline is suspenseful and keeps you on the edge of your seat. Nick is a DEA agent who went undercover in a motorcycle club. Savannah dated a motorcycle club member who ended up being abusive. I look forward to reading the next book about Silas.

I love this book and it’s Alpha hero! One great page turning read.
Savannah Fields wants out of the life she’s found herself living. Doing all she can to get away only manages to anger the worst mistake she’s ever made.
Nick Tucker is getting back to a somewhat normal life after being undercover for the last 2 years. Little did he know his trip to the coffee shop would throw him back into the fray he just escaped. The red-haired, green-eyed beauty has him second-guessing everything.
This is a spin-off of the Steele Security series and I loved finding them again. I was excited to read this fast-pace page turner. The author spins a great story and is thorough in her details.
Nick is an extremely protective, alpha male bent on protecting the beauty who’s stumbled into is life. Savannah is a survivor trying to find her way back to the surface.
I loved this book and can’t wait to see what’s next!
Savannah is an ER nurse who was sucked into an abusive relationship with a biker several years back and with the help of friends just moved to a new apartment in a different section of the city far away from her ex. Nick Tucker is a DEA agent who has just come off of a two year undercover assignment investigating the same biker gang. They meet in a coffee shop when Nick rescues Savannah when her ex tracks her down and starts beating her in the coffee shop. They keep running into each other at the coffee shop as Savannah decompresses from a night in the ER by working on a book for a few hours each morning. As they chat, they become friends. After the ex-boyfriend breaks into her new apartment to beat her severely, Savannah turns to Nick for help.
Nick is at a crossroads – in order to remain undercover, he had to compromise his personal values and he is no longer sure if he is one of the good guys. Rescuing Savannah and caring for her while she recovers from her injuries helps Nick find his internal compass once more. Of course, it is not that simple and the story takes off from there.
Savannah needed to learn that she is worthy of caring and respect just because of who she is and not because of what she can provide to someone. Her interactions with Nick, her friends and Nick’s provided Savannah with lots of reinforcement.
I really enjoyed this book. There is lots of action, great dialog and an ending that I didn’t see coming.

I had no clue what to expect from this book and I was blown away. Each time I felt I had a handle on things another curve ball came at me. The characters are amazing as usual. Don’t even get me started on the feels you get from this book. Nick And Savannah go through hell and come out on the other end stronger. So well written
When a simple trip to the local coffee shop turns into saving a woman’s life, Nick Turner and Savannah Fields’ lives will never be the sane. After spending years undercover in a notorious MC club Nick has witnessed things that would make weaker men run. After years on the run Savannah Fields finally has her life back. That is until the past she has been running from catches up with her. What they don’t realize is that they have one thing in common and it won’t stop until they’re both dead. This book is so good. It has the perfect amount of suspense and romance in it. This is my first book by A.D. Justice and it certainly won’t be my last.
This book was everything I hope for in a romantic suspense book: great writing, realistic characters and relationships, intrigue, and passion. I love when the hero is blindsided by the emotions the right woman can evoke. Poor Nick didn’t have a chance once he met and rescued Savannah at the coffee shop. My favorite heroes are always military or former military men who take on the role of protector either as an agent of the government or in private security. AD Justice weaves an intricate suspense plot, set up against a background of the heroine’s abusive past, and an ex from hell. As fate would have it Nick’s DEA case is indirectly—or maybe directly—involved with Savannah’s ex. The road to the couple’s HEA starts with a bang and takes a few unexpected detours, but the journey is certainly worth the mileage in the long run. I loved the secondary characters in this book, everyone needs a friend like Karen in their lives and OMG I can’t wait to see where Ms. Justice takes Silas in a future book. The writing is tight, the story well-paced and the characters well-defined and developed. I will anxiously await the next book from Ms. Justice and apparently, I’ll get more intel on Silas.
When a author has the ability to transport you into their realm with their characters you continue opening the covers to see what lies on the pages again when a new one novel comes along. Savannah is able to claim you as her champion right away thanks to her predicament. Then there is Nick who captures your attention with what he is about and what he is about to do leaving you wondering will he survive. At the time their paths cross and they meet you hold your breath for a moment because you know this is gonna be one wild ride. It slowly builds their relationship in a direction that will melt you slowly with each development. The obstacles add the spice that is needed to have this be a bring to your knees reading with the climax one that will squeeze the life out of ya. As I reached the end of this one I am beyond satisfied and left in awe because of the gem I just read.
