Meant to be together!
This is the first time that I read a book by Jodie Esch! ‘Finding Tony’ is her third romantic story in the The Coopers series. I liked the characters Star and Tony.
Star leaves the big city, for Stanley Island on the Pacific Northwest, in order to forget her past and move on with her life. Her dream is simple, she wants to become a single mom! Everything goes well, until Tony enters her life to turn it upside down! Tony is a master chef who has lost everything. Tony too has to make a fresh start. Can these two deceived and deluded souls help each other and make their dreams come true?
The storyline was well written and the characters were so wonderfully created that I remained totally enthralled as I turned each and every page until the end!
This book was different than the first two books in the series. It had more of a focus on pregnancy and the characters development together. There was less conflict and surprise twists. Even so, it was a nice, heartwarming read.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is the third book in the series and while you can read it as a standalone the first two books are great reads and I would recommend them as well. This is Star and Tony’s story I liked these to they are great characters both are looking for a new start but were not looking for each other I thought they were great together just what the other one needed this was a really good book and a fantastic addition to series.
I liked the book, but I found it lacking development, for example about Tony’s problem with her restaurants; What was the bad review? Who wrote it? Why didn’t they investigate further? What was really the problem?
The book was just focused on Star’s pregnancy. I missed the twists and turns from the first book in the series.
All in all, I enjoyed the book.
This the third book in this series but it has an entirely different feel to the two previous books There isn’t as much angst and drama This book is more about building relationships I actually think that this is my favourite of the three
