Phenomenal! OMG is it possible this series gets better and better? I swear I don’t know how Brittney does but she is a true master.
Finding the way back is the fifth book in the Stealth Ops series and it never gets boring! Brittney Sahin adds so many layers to the plot you won’t have time to catch your breath that the next surprise will caught you of guards!
With every single book she writes, she keeps me on the edge of my seat until the last page!
Knox might be a team guy but he’s also the son of the potential next US president. After many years trying to avoid any political life, what happens lead him right into the action with no choice than to stick to his father.
Adrianna has one goal ever since her cop mom died: honoring her memory which meant being in the Secret Service.
As a SEAL guy, Knox struggles with hiding parts of his life from his best friend. But Adrianna is forced into his hidden life and all bets are off.
The tension between these two was killing me! It was all over the place. All I wanted was for them to cross the bridge and be together! Their connection was insane. They’ve known each other for so long you can feel the trust between them. It was incredible to share all their moments together. Knox was overprotective while Adrianna try to make him see how capable she was.
What I also loved was how all the Bravo and Echo team were together. It’s a bunch of guys and woman I grew to love. Some already had their story so it’s always exciting to see them evolve. It’s also incredible to feel the sense of belonging there is in the group. They stick together no matter what. There’s a lot of respect in their lines of work and you can feel it through every page.
Finding The Way Back has all the actions and excitement you need to be your next favorite read. I wouldn’t wait too long to read it if I were you.
Knox, God love him & heaven help him, I just want to knock him upside the head sometimes. Ya see what I did there? 😉 He can’t see how perfect his best friend, Addy, is for him and that she’s been in love with him for years.
Knox & Addy’s relationship has the perfect amount of angst & drive. They both secretly want each other, but don’t want to jeopardize their friendship by acting on their intense attraction. And so the game begins, Addy waiting more of Knox, but taking what she can have of him or rather what he can give her as a black ops specialist gone around the world for months at a time.
Addy becomes a Secret Service agent & gets assigned to Senator Bennett, Knox’s dad, who’s running for president. With President Rydell’s time almost up, teams Bravo & Echo wonder what will become of them. To help the team, Knox reaches out to his father on the campaign trail and he’s soon caught up in a deadly game of frenemies. Secret Service & the teams begin working together to eliminate the threats to the President, but at every turn, nothing is as it seems. When Knox is injured during a firefight, Addy can no longer hold back her true feelings for him.
As Knox & Addy explore the depths of their new relationship, will Knox be able to let Addy protect him & his heart? Will Addy come terms with his fierce protectiveness as a sign of love & not weakness on her part?
P.S. Special thanks to the author for this copy which I have reviewed honestly and voluntarily.

Final Thoughts
Would I recommend this book? Yes!
Would I read more from this author? Yes!
Brittney does it again. How she keeps all of her characters straight baffles me. I love how you see tidbits of characters from previous books.
This book starts with a prologue which I love seeing the insight on how the main characters meet in their teenagers. I love how the “nerdy” girl is friends with the popular kid. There is a lot of banter between the two main characters.
Charlie (mainly known as Knox, only a select few call him by his given name) gave up a medical degree to become a seal. You see him having an internal debate about telling his best friend the truth and keeping her safe. His dad is a senator running for president. There is an assassination attempt on his dad and mom. Knox goes to be with his parents and figure out who is trying to hurt his family.
Adriana (known as Addy) is hurt as teenager since her mother is shot. She joins the secret service because it was a dream of her moms. She is sent to North Carolina to protect Knox’s parents and find out who attempted to kill them.
Knox’s worlds are combined. Brittney writes his conflict beautifully. You hurt for him and want to encourage him to do the impossible.
I don’t like spoilers in reviews so I don’t want to go into much detail. But this book will have your emotions on high alert. This will be an all nighter reader.
Brittney Sahin is the queen of conspiracy theories!
I don’t want to think that FHWB topped the other books in this series because every character have a different story to tell. They have different experiences and personalities that molded them to what they’ve become. Each story was specifically written for the intended character. What I can say is that Brittney delivered another high octane storyline.
The story begins when Knox and Addy were teenagers. There is an attraction but they’re very young, especially Addy. They became best of friends and each other’s protector. Fast forward 20 years later and their friendship is still strong. The prologue is very crucial because it shaped up the adult Abby and Knox. It shows how Addy’s sense of obligation is rooted in her mother’s ideology, to protect and serve.
Addy is now a Secret Service agent and Knox is part of a black Ops team that works directly with the President. When both of their worlds collided, Knox must make a decision on how he can continue keeping his secret to keep protecting Addy. Knox and his team need to find who wants to kill his father. Addy was assigned to protect Knox’s father. How long until Addy finds out the truth? What other secrets are buried deep that involve Knox’s parents? How long will they suppress their feelings for each other? And is Addy ready to be part of Knox’s world? It is definitely a slow burn between these characters, but oh so worth the wait.
Aside from action and romance, what I always look forward to in reading this series is Brittney’s genius plotting! Her ability to engage the reader to become part of solving the puzzle. It’s like watching a real crime drama. The intensity of every scene can be felt at every turn of the page. It’s action packed, suspenseful, nail biting, and funny. The light banter between Wyatt and AJ is a welcome distraction. A glimpse of a possible romance between Harper and one of the Echo team makes you giddy. The involvement of Echo team in this book is a segue to Wyatt’s book and I’m looking forward to it!
I received an ARC for an honest review.
I need more than 5 stars to rate this book
This book was amazing. In my opinion, this is the best book in the series.
I felt a connection to both Knox and Adriana. Brittney Sahin wrote these two so beautifully. Knox, who knew that he had such a different side to him. Knox is my new book boyfriend . Adriana was such a sweetheart, she’s also strong and determined.
The build up , ohh my goodness, this build up was slow but so freaking good. There were moments when I felt like yes its gonna happen then nope not happening lol. Ohhh but there’s definitely fireworks. These two are gonna leave you breathless
The action in this book felt real as well. Brittney has a knack with making the action scenes stand out. I don’t want to add any spoilers in my review, so I’m limited here but I promise you, this book is a must read. I was smiling, laughing and I even got a little emotional with this book.
Brittney you have another hit!!! This needs to become a movie
Addy had gone through so much trauma, and Knox had always been the friend by her side. Watching them finally be IN love while dealing with the crazy of both working for protecting the president was a fun ride.
It’s so amazing when an author can keep a series alive and each book is better than the last. I could not put this book down! I loved Knox and Adriana’s story and I love not only the action but the intensity between these two is out of this world hot!! I wish I could give “Finding the Way Back” more than five stars because it’s more than worth the read this is one of those you add to your paperback collection as well as ebook.
Finding The Way Back, the latest in the Stealth Ops series, shows just how finely Brittney Sahin has honed her craft. The subject matter is timely as it centers on a presidential campaign. Attempted assassinations, a militia type cult, cold war era spy ops and corrupt politicians keep Bravo and Echo teams busy routing out suspects, chasing down information and keeping a team member’s family safe and secure.
Charlie “Knox” Bennet and Adriana Foster have been best friends for 20 years. They have always been there for one another but have resisted crossing that line into something more despite their feelings that run far deeper than friendship. Now their respective jobs at odds. He’s black ops living a dual life that he can’t reveal to his best friend or anybody else for that matter. She’s Secret Service and assigned to his father’s protection detail. Knox, like his fellow teammates, has turned protectiveness into a super power. Keeping Addy safe overshadows any other duty he has. Convincing Knox that she’s more than capable of handling herself becomes almost a full time job for Addy.
Charlie “Knox” Bennett never wanted to follow in his father’s footsteps. He never fit in with what his parents what him to grow up to be, either a doctor or a politician like his father.
Adrianna “Addy” Foster found the man of her dreams at a young age, but on that same day she lost her mother. Addy has Charlie to help her through the bad times of her life. He is her best friend and protector. She follows in her mother’s footsteps and becomes a Secret Service Agent.
Knox fights his love for Addy and keeps her in “the friend zone”. He puts his job on the SEALS Team, first but he wants to tell Adrianna how much he loves her. After witnessing his Bravo Team find the women they love and get their HEA, Knox longs for that too. Through danger and intrigue, Knox tries to protect Addy and get the person trying to kill his father.
What a great ending to a FANTASTIC Series! I cannot decide which one of the Bravo Team I loved that best! Brittney Sahin sure knows how to draw you in and love the characters that she creates! I cannot wait for Echo Team’s books!
Good read
MAMA MIA! KNOX IS HOT! I’ve loved all of Bravo teams books and my favorite so far was Jessica’s story but Knox and Addy had it all: friends to lovers, slow burn, mystery, plot twists, I love the badass women in these books and how they stand up to their men yet There is still balance in the relationship. Well done! Echo teams next, who will fall first?
Loved Knox and Eddy story, great suspense and love .you’ll get lost in the story..Loved it…Another hit for Brittany.
Absolutely loved this 5th book in the Stealth Ops series. Was worth the wait for Knox’s story and to meet his leading lady Adriana (who makes you appreciate the strong female characters Brittney includes in her work).
Brittney always creates depth to her characters that leaves you wanting more and she did not disappoint in this one! Passion, drama, intrigue, and all the characters you love from the first 4 books-when you get the chance, read Knox and Adriana’s story!
When Knox finally introduces his best friend, Adriana, to his team, his two worlds collide, especially when the two are on a “mission” together. Adriana is in the secret service and when an attempt on Knox’s dad is made, she is part of the team sent to figure out who it could be targeting his dad, who is a runner for the next President. Knox goes because it’s his family that’s been threatened with his team going to support him and hopefully find out who the threat is. When secrets are spilled and all is not what it seems, Knox comes to the conclusion that it’s time to tell Adriana both his secrets…how will she take it.
Holy smokes….my my my….he** yeah!!! These two were amazing, the steam, the sensuality, the flirting, the everything between them is unmistakeable. I LOVED how these two were with each other, friendship above all else and the ease they were with each other…too bad it took them so long…but it was worth the wait for these two. I LOVED how Adriana stood by his side, no matter what and how protective Knox was of her. I LOVED how it all ended and how his dad reacted to everything.
An amazing read with steam, some humour, suspense, twists and turns, some action and a love that was always there that finally…finally…is out in the open…YES YES YES !!! A read that flowed beautifully without skipping a beat, with past characters altogether once again and a read I couldn’t put down, flipping the pages till I was done….wanting more more more !!!
*I voluntarily read an advanced copy and expressed my honest opinion*
5 FANTASTIC STARS!! What a fantastic story, I loved everything. Adriana and Knox will take you on a journey with all the feels. I could not turn the pages fast enough. Brittney Sabin has given us a beautiful suspense romance that will keep you wanting more.
I’ve been biting my fingernails, desperately wanting to know Knox’s story as well as who would capture his heart. Well, let me tell you … I was gobsmacked by the Prequel: Their Beginning, that Brittney snuck in right before the prologue. Omg, I couldn’t tear my eyes away from the story once I’d finished reading how Knox and Addy met twenty years prior. FTWB is everything I’d hoped–awesome writing, complex characters, surprising twists and turns, all rolled into one amazing book.
While this is a standalone, I highly recommend that you read the other Bravo books, or at the very least Finding Her Chance, to give you a better foundation for all of fab Bravo and Echo characters cleverly written into this story.
I really enjoyed Knox and Addy . There friendship was awesome but very frustrating at times because they took so long to take their friendship to lovers. At first I thought they missed out on so much time but then it’s what they both needed to grow and explore themselves Great Job Brittney
Brittney keeps creating stories that draw you in and hold you and Knox and Addy’s story is no different. The relationship between the two is built upon years of friendship and respect and when they get together it is page melting! The story is suspenseful, action packed and unpredictable, a must read! Keep them coming Brittney!
A slow burn to rival all slow burns! Knox and Addy have known each other since they were teenagers and Knox immediately became her protector. He’s always looked out for her. Secretly, they both felt more than their friendship allowed, but never acted on those feelings. With Knox becoming a SEAL and then Addy deciding to work for Secret Service, they never really got their chance to experiment with their relationship. The two are unexpectedly thrust together for work and finally they get a chance to connect. I love that they took time with their relationship. The plot was filled with mystery and suspense. I couldn’t have predicted who was behind the drama if I’d wanted to, there were so many twists. It’s my new favorite in the series!
Brittney Sahin’s best work yet!
Addy and Knox have been best friends since they were teens. A bond forged by tragedy, but never faltering. Yet each have had romantic feelings toward one another. Knox didn’t want the life of a spoil politician’s son, so he left and became a SEAL, but kept their friendship strong. He just lived two lives. Addy knew he when he became a SEAL, she just didn’t know he still was. Addy followed her mom’s dream and became a secret service agent. Then fate brings them together and forces him to see his parents in a different light….
This book has many twists and turns. There were a few that seemed to come completely out of left field, but the pieces, when all together, made for a great story. The love this couple had for one another was beautiful and true. I was held captive by this story from the very beginning.
I highly recommend starting at book 1 in the series so you get a feel for the other members of Knox’s team and their spouses who appear in this book, but I think you could read this as a stand alone.
