I need a break from it all.
Then, a confrontation has me jumping in my car, putting LA in my rearview mirror. And a stupid mistake ends up with my car on the side of the road. And straight into the path of a girl who is the exact opposite of everyone else in my life.
She’s like everything I used to know.

She thinks I’m cavalier.
I think she’s intriguing. And hot. Let’s not forget hot.
I’m stuck in this town overnight while my car is being fixed. But I’m thinking I’m gonna stick around a bit longer.

I’m liking it a whole lot.
And I’m liking her even more.

It was so Awesome to be back in the land of The Mighty Storm, i know this isn’t a book about Jake Wethers or Tom or Denny but god it was so good to be back.
Some of the things i loved in this book was TMS was in it more than i thought they would be and Tru as well one of our favourite leading ladies, loved that we got to see how thier future was and the banter between that whole family and the way Storm fit in had me a bit teary and also laughing out loud it was awesome.
The next thing i loved was the band mates, Raze, Cash and Levi they were storms family and they really did look out for each other, i loved the dynamics between them all and once you get to the end you will understand what I’m saying.
Stevie she is one of my favourite females she had me in stitches but i also loved her not give a stuff attitude how she lived in her world and if you didn’t like it you could get stuffed, she was such an amazing character to read and really loved the chemistry between her and Storm.
I must admit i loved Grandma and Penny but also Becks and Stevie’s day they made me laugh as well.
There was just something about this book it had it all the banter, laughs, had me emotional at times hot and steamy and just being back with TMS i couldn’t have asked for more. Well i can i am hoping there are a few more books around this band but if not Storm was the perfect book for me and being Johnnys son it was almost like a tribute.

“I’ve known this guy literally a handful of hours, and I’m ready to roll over and toss my panties into the wind.”
I’ve been so excited to get my hands on this story, and it’s even better than I’d hoped! Not only did I get my rockstar fix, I got in enough giggles to last a while. The witty banter was nonstop and I enjoyed every second of it.
Storm is troubled. Ever since learning he was the son of a rock legend, he and the rest of the world, has compared him to his father. The father that he never got to meet. His band is very successful and they have tons of fans, but again, they are compared to his father’s band. Did he inherit his talent from his father? Is it a legacy that he wants or can live with? He has so many unanswered questions and the pain of not being able to ask them is weighing heavy on him.
Feelings of betrayal and out of control anger have him taking an unplanned road trip. He just needed to get away and had no destination in mind. He just needed some time to get his head together and unwind. Unfortunately, while his head was ‘not’ together he messed up and found himself under a cloud of smoke and on the side of the road staring under the hood at things he didn’t understand.
While stranded on Main Street he didn’t expect to see a beautiful woman walking toward him. And when it became obvious that she had no clue who he was… she became even more beautiful to him. The unexpected anomaly of being unrecognized and able to enjoy a woman’s company without wondering what she wants from him is too tempting. He finds himself drawn to her and unable to resist keeping her in the dark as long as possible.
How thrilling, and stressful it was for me to be on constant alert for the big reveal. How would she react when she finally found out he was a famous rockstar? Would she even care? Their arguments about music are hilarious and he knows without her telling him that she would not like his band. Their taste in music is very opposite and the discussions that ensue are beyond entertaining.
I truly did not want to reach the end of this book. I think I subconsciously started reading slower toward the end to delay the inevitable. I. Loved. It. Storm’s band has three more members that need a good woman so I’m hoping there is more to come. The line forms here…
Here’s one book that you won’t be able to put down!
Finding Storm will make you swoon and giggle. This sweet love story is every girl’s dream!
Storm & Stevie are perfect for each other and Stevie is exactly what Storm needs in his life. She is hilarious and gives as much as she gets, not one moment with her is dull for sure!
I missed this gang so much. I still remember Jake and Tru so well and I’ve read the Mighty Storm years ago. Samantha’s writing is phenomenal, engaging the reader in a way others can’t do.
Finding storm was everything I thought it would be and more… it’s always hard to follow on from a series that was written a few years ago as expectations are high. I’m thrilled that Sam gave Storm the story and the justice he deserved.
Storm and Stevie’s story is the kind of heartfelt romance that leaves you with butterflies in your tummy. It has the right amount of swoon factor , right amount of angst and a truck load of humour and banter between the band members. It’s a light hearted read but one that will keep you turning pages as it’s impossible to put it down.
Such a great addition to the Storm series and well worth the wait!! Bravo… hope there is more to come from the other band members. There is definitely a story brewing for one of them….!
“In the shortest of times, you’ve come to mean more to me than anyone ever has before.”*sighs*
When Sam started leaving posts with “A STORM IS COMING” I was like holy freaking shit. I honestly thought in the beginning it was another Jake & Tru story. But I knew we’d had their amazing story so it couldnt be about them. I thought about two more people it could be about and when she finally told us who the story would be about I was like yessss “STORM!!”
OH MY WORD!!!! I know this gets said about all the books I read from Sam but it tops them all.
Storm & Stevie’s book was so amazing. I freaking love the both of them so much! I’ve always loved Jake & Tru but Storm & Stevie have taken them off the #1 spot. I know I never thought I’d say those words but I have and I dont have any regrets. Not a single one lol.
Storm was just perfection with a capital P. He’s 24 years old and is in a very successful band called Slater Raze. But he starts to feel like something is missing in his life. After an interview goes very horribly wrong and a secret is unvailed he’s so angry with the people he loves and cares about the most he just has to get away from everything.
Which leads him to Arizona..
Stevie is just the freaking best. I want to be her when I grow up. She made me laugh with the things she comes out with. She’s also 24 years old and works at a B&B that her Gran owns and lives there with her Dad, Brother and Gran. She loves her 80’s music(well that era of music was cheesy but amazing lol) and she isnt affraid to tell people she loves it.
The day is like every other day then she gets a call off her brother asking if she can help him out by going to tow a car because he’s really busy and when she gets to the broken down car. Well Stevie & Storm’s story starts…
Just trust me on this one ok.. It’s such an amazing story.
I laughed alot, snorted at one part to which I nearly chocked because it was so funny. I then cried happy and sad tears.
Oh Stevie’s Gran and the mention of Whipped Cream.. hahaha oh how I laughed.
Well done Sam on another amazing book xx
4.5 Stars
I absolutely loved this story, Storm is tired and jaded, and in danger of burning out. In his attempt to run away from his problems he encounters Stevie. Stevie is fab, I loved her quirky humour and her love of 80s music, she is the antithesis of the rock and roll world Storm comes from and is exactly what he needs. This slow burn was so sweet and I really enjoyed watching it develop. I hope we get more from the rest of the band, and the other secondary characters in this story.
Storm’s story is here- his dad was Jonny part of The Mighty Storm. Love the series.
It is great to see Storm and his fame trying to live up to the legacy of his father, but when he finds out some truths about his father he leaves town in a rush. Storm ends up in Arizona where he meets Stevie and she has no clue who he is. She is totally stuck in 80’s music.
Such a fun ready. I loved it.
It is the best continuation of this series. Gut wrenching. My last book cry of 2019.
It’s been a hot minute (or 4 years to be exact) since the last The Storm book and truthfully, it took me a bit to remember all of the players mentioned in this book (especially Johnny and Jake) and what happened previously. But once my memory was triggered, I fell back down the rabbit hole and reveled in catching up with old favorites and meeting new ones. Finding Storm reads as a standalone but I highly recommend reading the previous books because the spoilers in this book are plenty and their backstories are very significant.
Oh how I loved Storm! He starts off bitter, lost and a hot mess but once he meets Stevie, he transforms into a man who is ready to face his destiny. Storm is flawed and real which makes him relatable despite the fact that he’s a famous rockstar. He is dealing with some heavy burdens and struggling to come to terms with his life and legacy. Stevie is the light to his darkness and through her honesty, humor and humbleness, he blossoms into the man he is meant to be. I loved their light, fun relationship. Their witty banter was entertaining and her love of all things 80’s made me want to make this girl my new best friend. Storm’s bandmates left me very intrigued and I can only hope they they each get their own story. This book is a definite must-read!
Oh cheese and rice.
When i thought i couldn’t love Samantha Towle’s word anymore she brings me Storm Slater.
I devoured this book like it was my last day on earth, i picked it up intending to read the first chapter or so then do some housework but then i got stuck in the arms of Storm and he didn’t let me go until he was finished with me.
I feel rung out like a dirty dish cloth, my chest feels tight like only something a Samantha Towle book can do, last time i had this sort of feeling was when i was reading Jake.
Heart beating a mile a minute, heart eyes, intense feeling of love just everything near on heart bursting.
All the old feels that i had for Jake and the gang came rushing back like a freight train. I’m so glad i decided to finally pick this book up, I’m sure even if i hadn’t met Jake and the gang years ago i would be feeling all these emotions but they just feel like 10x stronger since i got to visit a old flame.
If i could give this more than 5 stars i absolutely would!
Samantha Towle knows how to steal my heart.
To say I was excited when I saw Samantha Towle was releasing a new Storm book is an understatement! Finding Storm is absolutely incredible! I don’t even know how to write this review, because I want you to read it so so much. I simply love everything about Finding Storm! I love that it wasn’t your typical rock star book. I love that Stevie is this sassy, awkward, understanding woman. Once she realized who Storm was, she still treated him like a normal person. Storm is as sexy as they come, but he’s also SO MUCH MORE! The bond that Stevie and Storm have is so beautiful! They bring out so much in one another. This book is an absolute must read.
I love this book!
Storm is Johnny Creed’s son. He is always being told he will never live up to his famous father and is tired of the partying, drugs and girls that go along with his famous rock star life. During an interview he learns news that throws him for a loop. Needing to get away he drives and drives, ending up in a small town in Arizona.
Stevie lives a quiet existence with her family. She runs a B&B with her grandmother while her dad and brother run a mechanical garage. Helping her brother and dad out, she goes out for a tow, and picks up a hot stranger in a fancy car.
Storm gives his middle name, Nick by way of introduction and it didn’t matter one bit, because Stevie has no idea who he is. Its like a breath of fresh air. While he waits for his car to be fixed he falls more and more for Stevie.
So what happens when his car is ready?
Definitely one click to find out. It is a face-paced relationship but I absolutely loved it.
This is my fave Rock Star series.
I was happy to hear we were getting Storm’s story.
Storm is the son of Jonny Creed rock legend, a man he never had the chance to meet. He’s expected to carry on his legacy which to me is a strange expectation to put on him (social media btw) considering he had never met the man. He’s basically living in the shadow of a man he never knew.
He becomes discontent, loves his family and band members but something is amiss. He meets Stevie, a happy chance meeting. She is great for him. She’s different from the usual female he encounters.
I thought this was a good story but I did feel it needed to be longer, it felt a little rushed towards the end.
I also need more Jake and Tru. I’ve missed these two. It would be great to read about how they are as parents.
Once again Samantha gives us another rock star to drool over.
This is Storm Slaters story son of the late Jonny Greed.
Storm has a lot to live up to being the only son of Jonny and something he has battled with his whole life.
Storm is lead guitarist with his band Slater Raze with fellow band mates Raze Cash & Levi signed to TMS record label.
Storm is lost he just don’t know what he wants anymore but for the sake of the band he keeps going that is until he has to do an interview without the other band member.
How do you react when someone tells you what you have believed your whole life is a lie that the people that you loved so much never told you the truth.
Storm confronts Jake Tommy and Denny and it don’t go according to plan so he takes off he just needs time to process what happened.
So when his beloved Maserati breaks down he meets someone he never knew would rock his world so much Stevie Cavalli, she runs a small B&B with her gran who is hilarious but as a favour to her brother tows storm.
She is everything she is stunning funny loves eighty music and had no idea who he is to storm this is heaven. They hit it off from the start the chemistry between them is something neither of them have ever felt before.
But as always there is a storm brewing will they make it or will they fail you will have to read it to find out, I loved this book we get to meet Jake Tru Tommy Denny Billy BJ & Bella all the characters we love from TMS.
PS we need more…..
***4.5*** I was so excited to read Finding Storm. I loved the original Storm books and couldn’t wait to read more. Finding Storm is the story of Storm Slater, lead guitarist for the famous band Slater Raze and son of the infamous Jonny Creed. Storm was raised by Jake and Tru from the Mighty Storm books. The story started off a little slow for me. Storm was getting restless with his rockstar lifestyle and wanted more. After getting angry and driving away from California he finds himself broke down in a small town in Arizona. When there, he meets Stevie. Stevie runs a B&B with her Grandma. Stevie made the book for me. She was smart, funny, and sweet. I started liking Storm more after he met Stevie too. They were an unlikely couple but I loved watching them fall for each other. After Stevie is introduced the book was as amazing! I think everyone will enjoy this story, even if you aren’t familiar with the Mighty Storm group.
Welcome back to the land of milk and honey, a land where drop-dead gorgeous men like Jake Wethers exist. Oh, how I have missed Jake and Tru; heck, I even missed Tom and that’s saying something.
Finding Storm wasn’t just the story of Storm Slater, the son of Jonny Creed; it was a story of revelations. I thought I knew it all when it came to the TMS family, turns out there were still skeletons in the closet and poor Storm got hit by a Mack Truck full of those skeletons.
Stevie was everything to me in this book. She had depth and impact far beyond her years, and as we all know I love a story with a badly behaving grandmother. I’m helpless to resist a kind, baking grandma with a silver tongue.
I loved the family dynamic between Storm and his bandmates. It reminded me so much of the TMS guys, talk about nostalgic. In a Sam Towle creation family is always everything, be it the family you are born into or the one you make yourself.
Like many other books by this author, the relationship between Storm and Stevie builds gradually, amping up the intensity and sexual tension to a fever pitch. There is always emotion and tons of feels. Not to mention enough sexy-times to make a girl feel like she’s living in an oven.
Any fan of this author will savour the depth and experience there is of being back in the world of TMS. The gang is there, minus one or two but it still felt like a new chapter to the lives of the band. Jonny was always their kryptonite and seeing Storm grow into his own person and away from his father’s shadow made my heart sing.
Thank you, Ms. Towle, for once again giving us a taster of the books we all came to love.
I know I’m late and haven’t read the Storm series but after reading Finding Storm, I want to go back and read the rest of the books from the previous generation.
Finding Storm was a book that intrigued me with the synopsis and I knew that when I went in and started reading, it would totally capture my attention with no pause.
Give me a book about rockstars and I’ll devour that sucker in one sitting and Finding Storm was one of those books.
If you read this book without having to read the previous stories, you will not be lost and you will find yourself immersed in the story that you’ll wish it would just keep going.
Finding storm a non spoiler review…..
“ A BRILLIANT BEAUTIFUL STORM.”
I’m gushing over this book. I mean it’s absolute perfection. Being back in this world is AMAZING. AND OMGEEEEEEE Storm Slater is EVERYTHING! And Stevie ahh she’s perfectly adorable she’s funny as hell, she’s outspoken and so freaking cute when she talks to herself. She’s got some shyness to her but also speaks her mind. She’s everything he needs and more. She kept me smiling throughout this book. The girl has sass.
Storm Slater only ever wanted to be his own man with his own life and a little privacy but what he gets is a whole lot more. STAY TUNED FOR SOME SUGAR AND SPICE, BECAUSE AS MUCH AS STEVIE IS SWEET, STORM BRINGS THE HEAT.
“You want me to be quiet, rock star? Then, you’d better keep my mouth full.”
I LOVED EVERYTHING about this book. I laughed a lot and I cried too. I felt all the emotions and savored all the moments. Seeing the TMS crew again made me come alive. I freaking love The Storm series so much and didn’t realize how much I missed them. But keep in mind this is Storm Slater’s book and his alone. He has his own story to tell and Samantha tells it perfectly. And along with the main characters you will fall in love with all the secondary’s as well. Tons of LOL moments. This book has the right amount of it all.
I just want to climb into the pages and insert myself in their world and never come out.
I’m praying all the guys will get their stories because I’m far from wanting to say goodbye to this world.

What a sweet love story. I loved it and this series has been such a wonderful one. I definitely recommend this book, this series and this author.
