You know a book is great when you literally put your life on hold because you need to keep reading.
Finding Storm was everything I hoped it was going to be.
Storm stole my heart. He starts off as your typical rockstar but it’s clear he is fed up of the rockstar partying ways and in reality is lost. I found his journey is quite emotional from him feeling lost to betrayed and then finding Stevie and in turn finding exactly what he wanted in life.
Stevie was just brilliant and down to earth. I loved her character, shy yet full of sass and seriously funny with her comebacks and rambling nervous rants.
I don’t think there was a character in the book I didn’t love actually, they all brought something to the story.
Samantha shot it out the park with this new edition to the TMS series and I’m really hoping the rest of the Slater Raze get books.
Storm definitely just took Jake’s number 1 spot.
If you enjoy the TMS books this is a must read.
LOVED IT!! Stories like Finding Storm are why this author is a one click for me.
I was so excited that we were getting more from the Storm world. This series is why I fell in love with her writing to begin with.
Stevie and Storm are everything good about rock star romance. I swooned, I ranted and I got a little tears eyed. Their chemistry and humour burst from the page. I finished with a giant smile on my face.
I was very excited when Finding Storm landed on my kindle and I couldn’t wait to get stuck in. Storm and Stevie’s story took me completely by surprise and was not at all what I was expecting. I guess I assumed it would be more rock and roll and angsty, more about the rockstar lifestyle, when in fact it’s a rather sweet love story.
I found Storm a little difficult to connect with at first. He had an unconventional childhood and, despite having the love of his large adopted family, he’s become rather jaded with his lifestyle and has a bit of a chip on his shoulder. He loves his music but needs a break from the merry go round that is his daily life and a shocking revelation, followed by a silly mistake, gives him just the excuse he needs to get away for a while.
Stevie was much easier to warm to. She’s so funny, albeit in an awkward way. I really enjoy when this author uses comedy in her stories and Stevie’s humor was infectious. She’s not shy, or particularly self conscious. She’s a little geeky, open and honest and says what she feels in a free and frank way. Speaking of comedy, I have to give a shout out to Gran, who I loved. She’s an amazing character, not to mention hilarious.
I enjoyed the romantic side to Storm and Stevie’s relationship, although their connection came a little fast for my personal taste. I would’ve preferred certain areas to have been expanded on, to have been shown, rather than told, in some instances. Nevertheless, overall, this was a fun, sweet sexy read. I’m very intrigued by the other members of the band and I hope we get to see more of this group of friends in future books.
Samantha Towle’s STORM series is one of my absolute favorites so I was super excited for Finding Storm. I was not disappointed! Stevie and Storm’s story is fun and sweet and I couldn’t put it down. I just had to know what happened next. If you’re looking for something great to read I recommend this and all the other books in the series.
Finding Storm is absolutely perfection!! Storm is Jake and Tru’s adopted son who learns news about his biological father, Johnny Creed. He kinda spirals from there. He meets Stevie in unfortunate circumstances. Her personality and witty comments are classic! I love that she is from a small town and so down to earth!! Definitely what Storm needs! This book brought out all the feels!! I cannot wait to read what Samantha writes next!!
This story was perfect. The right mix of sass, laughs, sweetness and The Mighty Storm. I can’t lie, I was down right giddy when I heard this author was going back into TMS land. The Storm series is one of my all time favorite series. Jake and Tru Wethers, Tom Carter, Denny Dale and their cameos made my heart sing. But this story is about Storm Slater, the late Jonny Creed’s son, the best ever guitar player of The Mighty Storm, who died way too young.
Storm is adorable, sexy, and close to being burnt out at 24 yrs of age. His band, Slater Raze, is on top of the charts and his band mates(Raze, Cash and Levi) are like brothers to him. But when Storm learns news that was kept from him, Storm just needs to drive and clear his head and his anger. What he didn’t realize is that it was going to lead him to Stevie Cavalli. She is sweetly naive with a dose of sass. She has no idea who Storm is and treats him like he’s a nobody. Except that he’s a sexy, good looking, rockstar, nice nobody. And Storm and Stevie begin a friendship that eventually leads to more. I will say that Stevie’s family and best friend Penny were a fun addition to this story. I hope that Penny will be getting a book soon with a certain lead singer of Slater Raze.
So……Storm and Stevie are pure bliss and their banter is absolutely perfect. The author nails their relationship in my opinion. Stevie is a great heroine who keeps Storm on his toes. The give and take between them is seamless. Their courtship is fast but when you meet the right person, the heart just knows.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this story and it kept a smile and a smirk on my face during the whole read. It was nostalgic seeing old characters of The Storm Series and it was also exciting getting to know the next generation of rockers. A sweet, delicious, wonderful, read.
#StormAndStevie #SweetRomance #Loved #SlaterRazeIsComing
Storm and Stevie are one of the funniest charismatic couples I’ve read in a while. I loved their instant banter. Storm is so yummy and a wonderful book Boyfriend! Both Storm and Stevie have close family and friends whom I hope get their own books, because these secondary characters are fantastic!
Of course his family had there own, The Mighty Storm, Wethering The Storm, and Taming The Storm. Some how I missed reading The Storm (book 3.5) but they are not needed to read and enjoy this book, Finding Storm. That being said I suggest reading them since they are amazing stories. I’m going to pick up The Storm after this one.
Now back to Finding Storm.
Storm is a sexy musician that lives the life like all reckless guys do, but living it in his father’s footsteps is a black cloud over his head. And maybe the cloud that saves him. In order to move out from under it he finds himself literally on a road out of the spot light. Stranded, away from his life of family, friend and fans. In the company of a ray of sunshine he takes an unplanned vacation.
Stevie is just an everyday girl, but she’s extraordinarily unordinary. A small town girl most can relate to. She’s messy, awkward and witty yet it’s unintentional which makes her that much more fun. Her honesty is something she’s never thought of mattering, but in the eyes of the shirtless new guy in town it means everything.

OMG!!! This book was everything I was hoping it would be. I loved Jake and Tru’s story, but I think Stevie and Storm have stolen their spot as top couple within the Storm Series for me.
Finding Storm is the perfect title for this book, because that is exactly what Storm Slater is doing….finding himself.
This book had everything I look for in a romance novel. I laughed, cried, yelled and swooned. The feels in this book had me on an emotional rollercoaster but in the best way. I will say many are going to say this is an insta-love story, which is correct, but it is also a slow burn for Stevie and Storm. Their story only spans over a couple weeks but the way Samantha told their story, she had them work up to their feelings by becoming friends first. I think even if you aren’t a fan of insta-love books, you will enjoy this story.
I have to say I loved every word of this book. I was a little worried being a rock star romance, because some times things happen in those books that drive me crazy, but I am happy to say this book had none of that. This book was mostly drama free which I loved. I was able to relax and read this book and truly enjoy the couple. And trust me you will truly enjoy Stevie and Storm!!!
As you can guess this book is following the story of Storm Slater and Stevie. Storm is your typical musician. Successful music career, lots of money, lots of alcohol and lots of women. But Storm is missing something and is not happy. Then after finding out something shocking, he takes off and just drives, finding himself in Lake Havasu, Arizona, when his car breaks down. Forcing him to stick around for awhile. Stevie is the a town local, having been born and raised in Lake Havasu. She currently runs the local B&B with her Gran. Little did they know that when Stevie showed up to tow his car their lives would change forever. Stevie was an AMAZING heroine. I loved everything about her. She was strong, sassy but also a woman with the heart of gold. What I thought was great was that she had NO clue who Storm was and took him to task when he needed it. I laughed so loud at times from their banter 🙂
I loved the secondary characters in this story Penny (Stevie’s BFF) was just as great as Stevie was. Their friendship is what every girl is looking for in life. Also enjoyed getting to know Stevie’s family and Storms band mates. I am hoping they each get a book in the future. Maybe Raze and Penny could get together some day 😉 I also loved seeing Jake, Tru, Tom and Denny in this story. These guys truly have bond as strong as an blood family. It was fun being back in their world.
I can’t rave enough about this book!!! If you love a rockstar romance book that is filled with love, humor and swoony moments then this is the book to read!! Definitely a favorite of mine in 2019!! Make sure to add this book to your TBR list.
Finding Storm is the beginning of what I hope to be more in The Mighty Storm family. This book is about one of the founding member’s son. Storm Slater is on top of the world or so it seems. When he discovered something he needed to just get away and that is when he finds Stevie. Storm and Stevie are opposites but each noticed something special in the other. I liked the pure nature of Storm’s and Stevie’s relationship. It was just sweet natured filled with tons of intensity. Their connection was deep and it was lovely seeing these two just be. They were an adorable couple whenever they were together. And when it was time for them to explode it was magical. Overall, Finding Storm was a lovely read-filled with sweet, sexy, a little bit of angst, and fun! And of course we get a little glimpse of Jake Wethers, Tru, and the rest of the band. Such a good read. I hope Samantha writes books for Raze, Cash, and Levi-Storm’s bandmates. They all have stories that I would love to read.
Oh. My. God.
Ever since Samantha Towle announced this book, I’ve been dying to read it. Jake and Tru were my all time favorite but Storm and Stevie are definitely up there with them. This book was phenomenal! I loved every single word and I love Storm and Stevie. I could not stop reading and didn’t want it to end. This book is everything.
I don’t even want to go into details because everyone should experience this book on their own. I will say that you most definitely need it read it and you won’t be disappointed.
Thank you Samantha Towle for another fantastic book! I can’t wait for more and I think I know who it’ll be!
5 Stars!
I was so excited to go back into Samantha Towle’s Storm world. Finding Storm is a super cute rockstar romance. Amazing characters. Great dialogue. Heart melting connection. I kinda love that this book wasn’t the angsty, heartwrencher we got from the previous books in the series. I adored the sweetness.
I am so in love with Storm and Stevie’s relationship. Yes, their courtship was a tad too instalovey but I still enjoyed it. They complimented each other so well. She calmed Storm especially when everything around him was unraveling. I love that he was able to find his solace.
I can admit. I tend to be looser with my affections for the heroes than the heroines. Not in Stevie’s case. I loved her instantly. Her spirit is everything. Sassy unapologetic, she’s the best.
This book makes me happy. If you’re looking for a dreamy sigh rockstar romance this one is for you.
What a fun book!!! I know there may have been a bit of angst, but overall it was just a fun read. I loved Storm and Stevies’s story. She is perfect. I loved her ability to turn Storm inside out. The banter is awesome. I found myself smiling a lot at the subtle humor that Stevie’s character portrays. Dual point of view. No cliffhanger. I’m kind of hoping for some books that may feature Storm’s best buds. Guess we will see.
Wow I absolutely loved this book! Storm Slater is starting to question the way his life is going and then he finds a secret that sends him reeling and driving off. Finding himself in Arizona after car trouble with Stevie showing up to tow his car. Little did he know his life was about to change all for the better. It was so much fun reading this!! Get yours!!!!
Bloody hell what a book, When I saw Sam was writing this I couldn’t wait to start reading, I love the other book I’ve read. I’m gonna start by saying how much I loved reading Stevie she was so much fun I loved her personality and witty come back. I wasn’t really keen on Storm at first he gave off that rocker vibe of drinking and sleep with anyone he wants, but a few chapters in and I started to give him the benefit of giving him a chance, I’m really glad I did cause these 2 together OMG what a pair they made. This is a must-read book. I’d give it 10 stars if GR let me.
Dare I say move over Jake Wethers? I mean I never really imagined anyone taking his place in TMS world but Storm Slater may have done just that! Finding Storm tells the story of Jonny’s son, someone we only just found out about right along with the late rocker in The Storm, and it is truly wonderful. The perfect read as summer comes to a close, this book is all kinds of charming as we watch Storm take a different path than the usual rock star might and finds not only the love of his life but a new appreciation for the man who he never got to meet.
I loved that Towle didn’t make this the dreary angst-fest as the trials and tribulations of what it means to be in the rock n roll spotlight fuel bad decisions and broken hearts a mile long. Instead we are treated to a sincerely gratifying story featuring a heroine in Stevie that made me smile and laugh, and found a way into my own heart, just as she did Storm’s. Stevie is pure delight and truly the yin to Storm’s yang as they find each other by accident and realize a spark that is both rare and incredible. Their time together is short-lived but their chemistry is electric. As Stevie shows Storm a simpler life in her native Arizona, his tension as the secret he found out right before he took this unexpected road trip seems to abate a bit and he not only feels lighter but is more prolific in his songwriting. She really is his consummate muse.
There is a world of hurt and a bit of panic as his loved ones, including Jake, Tru, the rest of TMS and Storm’s own bandmates that make up Slater Raze, wait for his calls. But it’s Stevie and the love he so strongly and surprisingly feels for her that gives Storm the strength and perspective to finally make things right.
Overall, it’s very uplifting book and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Storm is beyond sexy AND he loves Twizzlers (!) Stevie and the rest of her family, including her very spirited and hip grandmother, are sheer joy and something tells me the rest of Slater Raze may find a bit of love and happy as they make Arizona and Lake Havasu City their second home.
This is a crazy-good tale with a sigh-worthy love story and well-written and endearing characters. I couldn’t give it any less than 5 solid stars!
I first read The Mighty Storm over five years ago. That book was possibly the very first I labelled as ‘my top favourite read’, and in those five plus years it’s been the book that I go to read simply because I miss it….. I just have the need to pick up my kindle and re-read it. In fact I’ve read all the previous books to Finding Storm multiple times because they are that good. When the author announced that she was writing another book in The Storm series, the excitement in her reader group soared. When a copy of this book landed on my kindle last night, you would have thought all my birthdays had come at once. I can tell you it has been an absolute pleasure spending the last 24 hours with Storm Slater, and I hope I can write a review that does the book justice.
I have to admit that I’m always going to love reading anything that has Tru, Jake, Denny and Tom in it, but they’ve always been the lead characters in the previous books. Yes we do get to spend time with them, and I loved that, however this is Storm’s story and I was hooked from the very first chapter.
Storm Slater has not had it easy growing up. Yes he may have more money than I could ever imagine, but that isn’t something that’s important to him and I really enjoyed getting to know the real Storm and not the one who the media portrays or fans see on stage. The synopsis tells us that Storm finds himself miles from LA after a confrontation, and where he ends up staying nobody knows who he is. I loved how he was able to just be himself….. and obviously so did Stevie. Stevie Cavalli is a breath of fresh air. She’s warm, kind, caring and isn’t afraid to be herself, and Storm certainly finds her intriguing and so very different to his usual hook up. I adore the connection that Storm and Stevie have. Their interactions had me laughing often and their personalities really are amazing.
Finding Storm is everything I could have wished for and more. Samantha Towle certainly knows how to write a book that makes me feel the emotions. I loved how I smiled, laughed, had those butterflies in my stomach and yes I even cried. The chemistry between Storm and Stevie was perfect and I so much wanted for them to find their HEAs together. I was so engaged in their story that I found time went by far too fast for my liking. One minute I spotted that I was about a quarter of the way in, the next I was almost finished and I really didn’t want this novel to end.
I loved how the story is told in dual POV, it certainly added to my enjoyment to get both Storm’s and Stevie’s perspectives throughout. I really hope that this isn’t the last we see of this couple and I’d also love to discover more about the other members of Slater Raze. Maybe one day they each will have their own books…. who knows?
I do feel that you could read this book as a standalone as the author introduced us all to Storm Slater perfectly in my opinion, but then if you do go straight in you will have missed discovering three of the best novels and a novella out there. The Storm Series is incredible and I’m certain you will love reading Finding Storm just as much as I have. Enjoy!!
Ahhh!! This was so good!!! The Storm series is back with Johnny Creed’s Son! Storm Slater is the guitarist for Slater Raze. Feeling like he is burnt out already at such a young age but still committed to the music he goes to a interview that will change everything he thought he knew. Feeling betrayed he goes to get away and clear his head & that’s how he meets Stevie Cavalli. She different…intriguing…and maybe exactly what he needs. This is a very enjoyable romantic comedy with just the right amount of feels. I’m so glad there were cameos of Jake and the rest of the band. The chemistry between Storm and Stevie was perfection. Told in dual POV; a must read for fans of this series
THE STORM IS HERE!! Hold on tight if you want to survive this whirlwind ride.
Storm Stevie will sweep you off your feet from the first page as it draws you in leaving a lasting impression.
Storm Slater is a complex guy, being the son of the great Jonny Creed comes with unrealistic expectations that are overwhelming. Storm wants someone to understand him, see him for who he is. It’s impossible not to feel his inner turmoil as you read, I really felt his struggle. Storm intrigued me, yes he’s the epitome of a Rock Star with the good looks and swagger but he’s also a young guy trying to find himself.
Stevie has to be one of my favourite heroines from all Sam’s books, she’s a character that makes you feel happy her personality is infectious. Stevie is eccentric, a little bit strange, sweet, kind and witty as fuxk. I freaking adore her crazy ass.
I just loved everything about this book, it’s hilarious and all kinds of hottt. Everything that makes a fantastic Rock Star romance this book has it. It’s a fantastic accompaniment to The Mighty Storm series. I loved the familiar faces popping in too.
The references to some of my favourite things was the icing on the cake I had a huge smile on my face throughout.
Finding Storm was Perfection the story had me hooked from the beginning, a delight to read.
I’m hoping to see the other guys from Slater Raze get their own books.
I just know Samantha will have some characters demanding their stories so fingers crossed.
