A wonderful ending to a really great series! I was so eager to read Stephanie’s story and find out what was going on with Paul before he died. This book gave me everything I wanted and more.
Like the first two books, this book was filled with with heartfelt emotion between the three sisters. It was sweet but a little heartbreaking. These sisters are so funny and adorable. With this book we had some action packed moments and a little bit of romance. It was a very well rounded book and tied up all the loose ends. But I would still love to see more from this family!
This series has been a delight to read and Finding Peace is no different. I have really enjoyed getting to know all of the sisters and watching them grow throughout the series. I love how you continue to get to do so in all 3 books while each book tells the specific story of one sister. Stephanie’s book was full of the emotions and feel-goodness that the other books hold, but also had a surprising amount of suspense and action added in there. I enjoyed the addition of the mystery plot in regards to Paul. The book series is wrapped up well with no loose ends, but also leaves room for the potential for more. I definitely recommend spending some time in Bluebird Bay with these wonderful sisters and getting to know each of them and their families!
I absolutely loved the last book in the Bluebird Bay Series. I feel like all the characters had good endings and the book ending was not left open. I have loved all the Bluebird Bay books, especially Finding Peace. There was a good surprising amount of action in the book. I could not put it down. I am so happy Stephanie found her answers and we were able to check in with all the other characters. I have enjoyed each characters struggles, growth, changes, heartache, and love. I will really miss all of the characters.
From the first time I met Stephanie’s character in Finding Tomorrow, I have wanted more of her story and this book did not disappoint!
Stephanie is the glue that holds her family together, and she has been struggling since the death of her husband. She begins to question if her whole marriage was an illusion after coming across some unexplainable information. With the help of her sisters she looks further into his last days and uncovers more questions than answers.
I read this story in one day, as fast as I could turn the pages. I could NOT put it down. The relationships between the sisters and their children feel authentic and the storyline was captivating. I highly recommend the Bluebird Bay series, especially this third installment!
A-freaking-mazing!
I am surprised at how quickly I devoured this book. I have been waiting for this story since book 1 and I am so happy to have the answers. I had been on the edge of my seat from page one wondering what Stephanie’s husband was up to before he died, and I was not expecting that. When I finished reading that last chapter, I realized that I had been holding my breathe the entire time. Christine and Denise did an amazing job with this series. I love how even though the stories main focus was on Stephanie, that we still got a glimpse of what was going on with Cee-Cee, Anna, and even Max. I highly recommend this book and entire series!! You won’t regret it.
What a way to finish out a series with a bang! I had been much anticipating this book since the end of the second.
This book had me hooked from the very beginning. So many questions and so many theories were had! I was able to read this along side a book buddy and we discussed our thoughts on these characters (new and old!) and how they were going to play into the overall book. Not just the mystery but the slight romance that this book gives was more than enough to keep me hooked!
These women are well rounded women, they have great heads on their shoulders that think just like you and me. No angst or frustration of characters not thinking things the whole way through. So many questions had arose from the beginning that made you wonder where this book was headed and how it would end. Of course it ended on a happy ending, but the trip getting there… whew! My heart was pounding and I couldn’t stop reading.
The bond that Cee-Cee, Anna, and Stephanie have are truly amazing. To have that kind of relationship is what everyone should strive to have with their siblings.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading for others’ points of view. While this is mainly Stephanie’s book, we get a glimpse as to what the other sisters and Stephanie’s niece Max are thinking. I feel like I get so much more of a story this way!
I feel the book ended on what could possibly grow into another book, maybe with Max’s story but all loose ends were also tied up too in regards to Steph.
I highly recommend this series, especially to those women who are middle-aged… I feel that it would be easily relatable. But don’t let that stop you, reader, if you are not of that age bracket, because you will love the story nonetheless. So what are you waiting for? Go grab this last book of the Bluebird Bay series! Your heart will thank you!
This series has been a delight to read. I would classify them as a good summer book, in the sense that they aren’t too heavy on angst or drama. They are the type of book you can pick it up at any point and not be lost. Although I read this in one sitting, discussing it along the way with a book buddy because we both have loved these woman like sisters!
The whole series is written in the third person, and each book has its focus on one sister mainly, but we get updates on the entire family in each installment. This book brings about the conclusion of Stephanie’s journey. Even though it’s been nearly three years, there are still unanswered questions relating to her husband’s sudden death, and more pop up to confuse her all over again. She is also maintaining her veterinarian practice and looking after her ailing father with the help of her two sisters. These women have a bond that goes beyond being sisters, they are also best friends and would do anything to make sure the others are happy.
I have enjoyed reading all three books in this series and I believe this is the last one. If it does end here, it finishes on a high, a wedding! But if we were to get another novel, I would love to know more about Max and her new beau. Cee-cee, Steph and Anna will make you laugh, bring some tears and give you a sense of strong family values. Don’t miss out on the Sullivan girl’s adventures.
What a sweet end to the trilogy! These books were comfort food for my book soul. The little mystery that DGS added into this book was perfectly mixed with the sweet romance and the beauty of family love. The sisters in this series are strong women and when they work together they can do almost anything. I really enjoyed that simple love of family even when you have moments where you never want to see some of them again. It was so realistic and such a wonderful book to read.
I love how this series touches on each sister yet focuses on the life of the one main character sister.
You come to love and care for the sisters and their grown children because they feel so real with real problems. Along with a twist I wasn’t expecting.
This story as well as the two prior help you remember that all the hardships you go through are only temporary, you will always grown and come out better in the end.
It was a beautiful end to this series. I do hope that they decide to write more. I would love to continue to find out about the lives of these characters.

The bluebird Bay series was series I never knew I needed or wanted. I loved reading about the real struggles of these sisters over a certain age. It was refreshing to read about women over forty who have their own adventures and find love on their own terms.
Stephanie takes front and center in this book. She has been stuck after the death of her beloved husband and has been struggling to return to the land of the living. When she finds a mysterious note that questions her entire life, it sparks a fire under here that has been missing for years.
I loved how Stephanie finally come into her own in this book. She was able to work through her pain and grief as she tried to find out the truth about her husband and his death and was able to come to peace with so much pain/hurt in her life. The story had me on the edge of my seat and I was also trying to piece out the truth in my own head too.
My only complaint was this book went to fast and felt Stephanie didn’t get to be the full star of this novel and other stories and characters were featured more. While I loved the integration of all three sister stories, I felt like Stephanie’s story was just a bit underdeveloped. this is a minor quibble and the book was still very enjoyable.

I thoroughly enjoyed this series. I really wish there were more sisters! This final book was highly anticipated as we have been given snippets of Stephanie and her ongoing challenge of letting her deceased husband go along with trying to solve the mystery he left behind. I loved all the characters. Makes me wish I had sisters. I especially like that they are realistic and deal with real life problems like aging parents and adult kids. It is refreshing to have a love interest for mature characters. I couldn’t put this down and had to read in one day. I found myself grabbing minutes wherever I could to read some more. I am glad we had a resolution at the end and an even better ending with a wedding! Finding peace is the perfect title and I am glad Stephanie found her peace. I do think we could have a book on Max next (hint). Loved everything about the series except that it is ending!
I am not ready to say goodbye to Bluebird Bay! Book 3 in the series centers around Stephanie Ketterman. She lost the love of her life in a boating accident three years prior. While she loved him with all of her heart and they seemed to have an idyllic relationship, Stephanie discovers that on the day of his death, Paul may have met with a mystery woman. This puts doubt in her head about the man she loved. She can’t seem to move on unless questions are answered and she can find the peace that she needs to put her heart and head at rest.
Through twists and turns (and a brilliant culmination of the book) Stephanie gets the answers that she needs. We also get to follow up with the rest of Stephanie’s family. The whole series has wonderful characters, a great plot, and is very well-written. I truly will miss Bluebird Bay!
I have been looking forward to Stephanie’s story since the first book in the series and it did not disappoint! Finding Peace was the perfect ending to the series, although I would love to be able to revisit the Sullivan sisters and catch up. This was a fun, quick read that was hard to put down once I started. I was curious about the receipt and story of Paul’s death. As Stephanie learned more of what happened, I had my own suspicions. I was very surprised to learn about Paul’s last day. I definitely recommend this series!
This story ties up all the ends we was wondering about with Stephanie and her husband Paul. I kept thinking there was no way anything was going on with her husband. I am glad we finally got to see closer for Stephanie and she could move on now. I love seeing all the sisters together. I think the bond between family is awesome when you have it. I hate to see the story end after all we have gone through together. I did have a slow start on the book. Once it got started though I was in. Well written and so enjoyable. If you are looking for a series of books that are for a older woman with love and problems then this is it.
I absolutely loved this series and this was the perfect way to end it. Each book is engaging and entertaining and I love each of the sisters stories. This book focuses on Stephanie and her quest for answers. I love how each one of the sisters has grown through their discoveries of whatever life threw at them.
What a fabulous end to the Blue Bird Bay series! Finding Peace is all about Stephanie’s new life and ups and downs after her husband’s sudden passing two years prior. After finding mysterious evidence and hearing the rumors that are going ! around town, she is determined to dig deeper into their shared past and figure out if her seemingly perfect marriage was all it was cracked up to be. I’ve absolutely loved each and every book in this series. These authors did an amazing job working together writing these wonderful stories. I will surely miss these three sisters and their families. I highly recommend reading these books. You won’t want to miss out on Bluebird Bay or the Sullivan sisters!
I was in love with this series since first book and what an ending of this wonderful series is this last book! Amazing! Drama turned in to mystery to be solved with an addition of romance and love. We got such a handful amount of unexpected turns and twists full of non stop action. Though I guessed who is who, it didn’t make the story less intriguing to me. I was on the edge of my seat holding my breath until the end.
Love these amazing characters! The bound and relationship between all three sisters is beyond fantastic! Cee-cee, Anna and Steph makes you want the same for you in your family. I felt them like my own sisters. I thoroughly enjoyed how we continue to see all of them in action and getting glimpses of their struggles and achievements though this book was focused on Stephanie’s journey finding the answers to be able move on with her life. No lose ends left after finishing this book but there’s a great potential for something more about the kids’s stories. One can dream, right? I’d really love to find more to this series later.
You should pick this book and entire series to fall in love with it and find all these answers I mentioned and more!
I have enjoyed the sisters journey and this last book was bittersweet. This book follows Stefanie but like in the previous books it also tells us how the other sisters are doing.
I was truly invested in this series and eager to find out what happened with Paul. This book doesn’t disappoint. I was on the edge of my seat half way through it till I finished. Whew. What a great book hangover. I will miss the sisters..this series is truly inspiring. Highly recommend.
Good read. This book in the series was mostly about Stephanie wanting to solve the mystery about her deceased husband. A nice little twist at the end. I really enjoy this series of more mature women and their new directions and taking care of their Pop. Each sister has a dilemma they have been working through. Good series.
When I started reading this series I wasn’t sure if I was going to end up liking it or not. I enjoyed the first book, but it wasn’t something I’d normally read. The second book picked up my interest a bit more. This final booked finally met my craving for “some kind of mystery or suspense.” This book focuses on Stephanie trying to discover whether or not her deceased husband had been faithful to her or not. The end is definitely a doozy! You also still get snippets of Anna and Cee-Cee’s lives to see what is still going on with them. You also get a few more snippets into Max’s life and I wish they would have elaborated more on what ends up happening to her business. I guess i’ll have to fill in those blanks myself!
If you’ve enjoyed the first 2 books – you definitely don’t wanna miss out on this ending!
