Everything about this story was amazing . The setting, the plot and especially the characters grabbed me and held me until the last page. The bad guy wasn’t a surprise BUT his henchmen was. My ultimate favorite was Toby. He was adorable. I wonder what will happen to Christy now ?
The is an easy read for those who love the West and romance. The heroine of the story is a powerful woman who knows what is right and is determined to show everyone she can do a man’s job and still be a lady.
Great book. Loved the story so much I bought the next book.
It was certainly a very good read and enjoyable to rear.
A delightful story that clearly shows humanity’s willingness to judge without ensuring that appearances and their conclusions are indeed the truth. A very well written story
In this Christian suspenseful romance, Alex is horrified when she discovers that her father has taken out a loan to purchase superior quality horses for the ranch’s breeding program. When he loses his life under suspicious circumstances, Alex comes under pressure from those who would take advantage of the situation. In response to an urgent call for help, Justin arrives at the ranch in time to assist in tracking down missing stock. The attraction between Phillip and Alex is immediate, as they face one challenge after the other. The story is clean and sweet, although suspenseful as the main characters face the challenges set before them. This novel is generally well written, is a standalone and comes to heartfelt and successful close.
The storyline was unique and kept my attention through every page. The characters were well rounded and believable. This made for a very enjoyable read.

This is the first book by this author that I have read. Enjoyed the book and would recommend it.
I finished the book about 5 am this morning. Can’t wait for the next one in the series.
This is a page Turner. Witty, easy to read, romantic.
It is a fun twist on an old theme of how women were often viewed as incapable and so a woman literally had to don men’s clothing and outdo the men to be recognized.
Love in Last Chance, California was in interesting and inspirational read.
Not always completely plausible, but the characters are interesting & the writing clear and inviting.
Enjoyable read. This is the first of 2. Keep on reading.
I love all of Miralee Ferrell’s books. She’s one of my favorite authors.
A pretty good read but some parts were totally too unrealistic to be believable.
