The four novellas in this book kept me SO engaged. Each one builds on the other, and they all take place on the Oregon Coast/beach towns. There’s a run-way bride involved, as well as her three bridesmaids. It’s fun, touching, and will leave you rooting for the bride and her friends, as each one finds her own happily-ever-after. You don’t want to miss this read! You’ll give a huge sigh of satisfaction when you finish–as well as desire to read more about these ladies.
This collection starts out with a bride who changes her mind on her wedding day and we follow her story of the.. well.. Happily? ever after. Each was by a different author but they all tied in so well with the opening story.. Faith, heart ache, a little humor and romance made finding love at the Oregon Coast a story I enjoyed.. I do enjoy Bride stories and these were sooo good! Romantic!!
I was gifted a copy and my review is voluntary.
A little on the light side as to content.
I stopped reading after a few pages as the writer felt inclined to add foul language to tell a story. If they have to resort to that then the book is not worth reading.
I wish I could have read the whole book, it sounds interesting. I am only reviewing Finding Love In Seaside, Oregon by Angela Ruth Strong. It’s a very lovely story and I loved it so much. These 2 strangers are so broken and yet could be so good for each other. No spoilers here. Ms. Strong’s stories about the Lake family are wonderful books. Each book in her series is uplifting and I want to savor the parts that speak directly to my soul.
Love the first story about Lincoln City–cute and charming romance with nice local details. The stories were like a trip up the Oregon coast. The Astoria entry by Angela Ruth Strong was a terrific culmination to the book! Wonderful scenes and pure romantic gestures makes this it a perfect example of a Sweet and Clean Christian Romance.
Beautiful
Thus was a wonderful grouping of stories of 4 women who had come together for friends wedding, that didn’t happen but while on the coast all find love & strength in Hide. Even the bride who called off her wedding.
If you like quick romances, this is for you. The four ladies all find “the one” within weeks of a cancelled wedding. Not very realistic, but fun, and gives an interesting view of the Oregon coast. It has to be a God thing, that so many wonderful single men are available at the same time!
This is a great inspirational romance novella collection. Each of the novellas is an enjoyable read, but my personal favorites were Finding Love in Lincoln City by Heather Woodhhaven and Finding Love in Cannon Beach by Christina Coryell. I loved the the banter between Liz and Tom and the process of them getting to know each other again in Ms. Woodhaven’s novella. It was truly a fun read and their story made me smile. In Cannon Beach, I love Ms. Coryell’s Style of writing, the quirkiness of her characters, and the journeys they take as they overcome their struggles. In Finding Love in Oceanside, Ms. Phillips writes a sweet story for Mitch and Anabeth and I was glad to see Mitch overcome his trust issues to pursue Anabeth. In Finding Love in Seaside, I really enjoyed the first part where Christina and Dave were getting to know each other. I must admit I struggled with the last bit after Christina’s ex-fiance showed up. There were some things that Christina said and did that were a little disappointing to me and I felt her attitude towards Dave was a bit hypocritical in a particular scene. Up to that point, I had really enjoyed both Dave and Christina and while I became a little frustrated with Christina towards the end, I still enjoyed their happy ending.
**I received a copy of this book from the author and have chosen to review it. My opinions are my own.
Sweet stories filled with the possibility of finding love, hope and trust. Each author gives a unique perspective of a bride and her bridesmaids after a wedding is cancelled. Will these women find true love? Will there be a happily ever after for any of them? I enjoyed these novellas very much. I was given a copy of these stories by the authors and this is my personal honest opinion.
Several different views of connected friends and their different paths to live.
I enjoyed this story. The characters were pretty realistic. I enjoyed each girl’s story and nice they were all connected.
It is a fine read, just not the most exciting ever. It was inspirational and had some good things in it.
Fun to read!
Coming from Oregon this was a delightful read. I knew all the towns and places. Currently far from Oregon it was wonderful to travel home and enjoy happily ever after with enough originality and conflicts to keep it interesting.
Whenever I am rating a compilation of books it is difficult. Some of the stories are excellent and some good. Some are hilarious (waking my husband up when I read in bed) and some are eventful, depending on the character. Definitely worth reading.
This book is 3 novellas. All 3 are excellent. Easy to read, romantic, funny and interesting. Nice light reading but with some interesting ideas to ponder about a serious relationship.
Love the Christian romances that show God’s love for us.
