Can a hot fling between two strangers become so much more?

I loved every minute of their journey. I couldn’t put their story down. This was such a great start to this series. I can’t wait to read more. I need more.
Mia is a strong lead female character. Being fired, evicted, and catching her fiancé being ridden by another woman, Mia has every reason to take a break from life. Her best friend has her back, that’s for sure, and when Mia accidentally purchases a two-week vacation on ʻOʻahu it’s that support that has her waking Mia up and packing for her before her flight at an ungodly hour the next morning.
Beau is running from grief and responsibility. When his best friend is killed along with his wife in an unfortunate accident he skips town and ends up on a plane soaring across the ocean. And then a stunning redhead bumps into him at baggage claim. A meeting that sends her fleeing in embarrassment intrigues him and when he sees her dancing and drinking at his hotel’s bar? He’s unwilling to let her run away this time.
I highly recommend giving this new author a go.

A debut book by a new author and it was pretty good. Mia and Beau were a great couple, a few hiccups along the way and I was hoping they’d get a HEA. A great romance and I look forward to the next couple’s story.
4*
Mia hasn’t had a good day 3 unlucky situations, lead her to do the unpredictable get drunk & book a vacation.

A really great first novel.

New beginnings
A debut novel for this author, To New Beginnings was a surprisingly beautiful treat.
In this novel which I devoured within hours, we meet both Beau and Mia.
Total strangers, both struggling with the tragedies of their lives.
Both hurting for very different reasons, but hurting all the same.
Staying put isn’t an option for either of them.
So they do the only thing they can think of to escape their current realities…They run!
But of course fate had plans when low and behold they both end up in the same part of the world.
Hawaii.
This a Beau and Mia’s story.
A story about finding yourself amongst the deepest of despair.
A story about two strangers taking comfort in each other.
A story about sacrifice.
A story about hope.
A story about love.
Guys I must say this novel had all the feels. It was heartbreaking, full of laughs, breathtaking. A lighthearted read that I soaked myself into, not putting it down once.
A great debut novel.
4 stars
All the best decisions are made with copious amounts of wine…until you wake up and have to face the consequences. Mia is stuck with some of the best consequences, though, when you compare drunk texting with a couple weeks in paradise. Except what she really doesn’t expect is to find the rest of her forever.
A meet-cute followed by a bar encounter sets Mia up for the fall of a lifetime, she just doesn’t know it yet.
Beau is running from grief and responsibility. When his best friend and quasi-brother is killed along with his wife in an unfortunate accident he skips town and ends up on a plane soaring across the ocean. And then a stunning redhead bumps into him at baggage claim. A meeting that sends her fleeing in embarrassment intrigues him and when he sees her dancing and drinking at his hotel’s bar? He’s unwilling to let her run away this time.
The time they spend together in Hawaiʻi is passionate, fun, honest (to a point), and heartfelt. They connect in a way they never realized was possible. When Mia offers to help Beau when the news about Olivia is dropped on him he’s reluctant to accept but she’s determined to give him exactly what he needs. Mia sees something in Beau that she yearns for but doesn’t know if she can ask to keep him. Beau feels the same but his life is in turmoil and with all the changes going on he’s not sure if there’s more in the cards for them beyond their island fling.
But fate isn’t about to let them stay apart for long. Mia can only avoid Beau for so long now that they’re back in the same city and when he asks for her help it opens them up to take up right where they left off. Their ups and downs are more cute and steamy than angst-ridden and chaotic. I enjoyed seeing them fumble through the reconciliation despite the potential for misunderstandings and hurt.
When situations came up where they needed to be true to their feelings they were betrayed by their mouths and that actually helped them overcome what could have kept them from their happiness. Thinking before speaking would have doomed them because of their insecurities and fears. It was when they were thinking too hard that they got into trouble.
The drama surrounding their union and family was resolved pretty quickly and painlessly. Well, except for the glass to the forehead and the knock to the back of the skull… I liked the ending very much. It was sweet, cute, hopeful, and very sexy. Every character in the story was interesting, even the villains. With a solid cast we’re drawn in to their world far more than if this were just about a vacation fling and a fake marriage. Meeting each person through their interactions with Mia and Beau builds affection for them as people and curiosity about who they’ll end up with and how. I’m absolutely in when the next story comes out!
This is a new to me author that I’ve been given the privilege of reading and reviewing for. I was definitely not disappointed. This was a very sweet, entertaining story.
Mia and Beau meet in Hawaii, both trying to escape from reality for a short time. Strangers meeting in unlikely circumstances, they spend some time together. However, life intrudes, and they make a few spur of the moment decisions that have unforeseen consequences. (I never saw it coming!)
Mia is a sweet girl, that is having a very bad day! Although she thinks her life sucks, it turns out that this vacation is just what she needs! She is a very giving person and puts aside what is probably best for her, to help someone else out of a tight spot.
Beau was just a guy living life. Until tragedy struck, and he felt like he had to get away from his life for just a bit. Turns out, he found what he didn’t know he was looking for.
This book was full of twists and turns. There was plenty of drama and surprises to keep the story going, and I really enjoyed it. Beau and Mia are such a sweet couple, and their story was fun. This book is a perfect read if you are looking for a vacation read that will take you away from everything for a little bit!
Corinne Mazille certainly knows how to make a debut! Super sweet, extra hot, with fantastic writing and characters that had me captivated from the start To New Beginnings won me over immediately. There’s not one thing about this book I didn’t love. Steamy romance filled with heart warming sweetness, an adorable little girl, a tight knit family, and fantastic friends. Who wouldn’t love that?!
Mia is adorably lovable. From her and Ella having my cracking up to how big her heart was, she was just one of those characters that’s fun to read. Beau was flat out perfection. Sexy and oh, so sweet the man is the total package. The sparks between them are instantaneous and just kept growing hotter with every page. Even with such heartbreaking circumstances, this book is still one of the most heartwarming & sweet books I have ever read. I couldn’t get enough of it!
Knowing that this is the author’s debut novel I went into this book with an open mind. It did not disappoint!! I think that for a debut, this author did a fantastic job. This was such a great read. It had the perfect amount of romance, steamy scenes and suspense, and I enjoyed quite a few laughs while reading this book. Even though this book has a little suspense, I would still classify it as a light romance read. I enjoyed the characters a lot. Mia and her friend Ella were thick as thieves and always there for each other. I loved them. Beau had a family that was supportive, caring and protective and he was the exact same way, his brother Logan was another sweet one. I loved how Beau was with Mia and Olivia. I absolutely adored the parts with him and Olivia. I finished the book in one sitting. My only complaint was that I would have liked to have read about the family as a “whole,” even if it was done in epilogue, but other than that I enjoyed this story a lot. I can’t wait to read Ella and Logan’s story. I would definitely recommend this book to romance readers that are looking for a light read with a little steam and laughs along the way.
I have never read this author before by i was loving that i found a couple of books by this author with single parents, i really enjoyed this book.
This books was definitely hot and steamy and let’s be honest Beau just seemed like every girls dream, i really liked the fact we got to people both running away from something and wanted to enjoy the hear and now. I love Hawaii so when books are based there as well it really makes it for me.
I really enjoyed this story it had a bit of everything, it made me laugh, it had a great storyline and kept me hooked until the end. It isn’t a long book and sometimes i love a book that doesn’t take me long to read they get to the point and just makes you read it faster to see what happens.
I really loved all the characters in this book, beau, Mia, Olivia was so sweet, I loved Ella and i really can’t wait for her story next really looking forward to see what her and a hot cop get up too.
