One of the best books I have read lately. Finding Hope has the ability to give you hope!
I love this veteran’s series by author Tiffani Lynn. Her books hook me as a reader, and I wait for the next one. Shes a talented author readers should watch. I promise she will not disappoint.
Finding Hope is the perfect title for this book!
Cy is a homeless vet suffering from PTSD. Needing help he goes to a veterans shelter where he meets Rosie, a nurse volunteering there. Rosie instantly senses his needs because she has suffered from trauma in her past as well. Their broken souls are magnetically drawn to each other. Both of them start to heal with the help of one another. There’s so much more to this story but I don’t want to give it away. I loved this book!! I’ve loved all the books in this series. (They’re all stand alones and can be read separately.)
Finding Hope is so heart wrenching that I was already crying in the first few chapters. Cy and Rosie are two broken people. Cy a war veteran with severe PTSD. Rosie suffered years of abuse. Together they make each other whole again. I thought this was the best book of the Colorado Veterans series. As with the other books in this series, Finding Hope can be read as a stand-alone.

Tiffani Lynn has taken two people with painful pasts and written an amazing story. Cy is a disabled Marine veteran who suffers from crippling PTSD. He cannot stand being indoors because he feels trapped so he has been living homeless for years. Rosie lived a horrific life from years of sexual abuse. She’s finally living near her sister and volunteering at a homeless shelter when she meets a seriously injured Cy. Rosie’s years of nursing training and challenging past give her insights into Cy’s struggle and they begin to form a bond.
This novella was the absolutely perfect message of hope. At times it brought tears to my eyes. Finding Hope is a great Christmas novella that you won’t want to put down. 5 stars!
Don’t be like me and save this Christmas story for December reading! Grab it up now! It’s is such a perfect addition to the Colorado Veterans Series! I absolutely loved Rosie’s strength and compassion. We learned of Rosie, earlier in the series, but much more is revealed and says so much for how she is overcoming her past and having the fortitude to reach out to others. Cy is a multi-layered person and with the intuition Rosie possesses, she very slowly peals away some of Cy’s layers. I didn’t miss the little contrast of Rosie and THE Christmas Story! Very well done Author Lynn! Finding Hope can be read and enjoyed as a stand alone, but I’m so glad I’ve read the entire series! I so hope that there will be more to this series!
Cy McMullen is a hero returned home like so many—suffering from a disease not easily explained nor cured. Unable to stay in a confined area, Cy prefers to sleep outside and becomes one of the many living on the streets. These homeless have become a target of cruelty and brutality, and Cy finds himself beaten and battered and in desperate need of medical care. But can he get past his fears to reach out for the help he needs?
Rosie Rossi is working through the demons of her past, and while volunteering at a local homeless shelter, she is drawn to Cy. Seeing that he shares the same fears as her, she takes him to the hospital and makes sure he feels safe enough to get the care he needs. Rosie sees beyond Cy’s dirty clothes and ragged appearance, and offers him a safe haven in her home to heal. But it’s more than just Cy’s injuries Rosie heals, it’s also the piece of his soul he thought long lost.
Tiffani Lynn has written a Christmas miracle with Cy and Rosie’s romance. Finding Hope is a love story of two broken people that find love in the most unlikely of places. I loved this story and highly recommend!
