“I’ve done everything wrong, Finn. From day one. It was the only way I knew how to be with you and still be worthy of you. But I see now that I never really was.” –CallanNote: New cover added 12/2016 but no new contentVengeance. It’s the one thing on ex-cop Rhys Tellar’s mind and he’s spent every day of his two year prison sentence planning how he’ll bring down the former lover and partner who … bring down the former lover and partner who sold him out and cost four people their lives. A six month parole stint working at the CB Bar Ranch in Southwestern Montana should be the easiest thing he’s ever done. But the last thing he expects is to feel something for both the charismatic ranch hand who befriends him and the enigmatic foreman who’s pretending to be something he’s not.
A future. That’s what Finn Stewart wants, but to have it he must leave behind the man he wants above all others, his very straight boss and best friend, Callan Bale. As the only openly gay man in a small, homophobic community, Finn has to fight every day to be who he is and walking away is starting to seem like the easier path. Until Rhys Tellar shows up and changes everything.
A Lie. Callan Bale’s entire life has been about hiding the man he really is and it’s about to cost him the one person who’s managed to worm his way past the walls he’s spent years putting up. But choosing Finn would mean giving up everything he’s worked for and breaking the promises he’s made. At least losing the younger man to Rhys means Finn can have the life he deserves.
Three men. Three choices. One chance at finding home.

Finding Home – I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was hard to read in places but that’s to be expected due to the trigger warnings. Rhys and ex-cop who was sent to prison after being betrayed by his partner who also happened to be his lover, and ended up revealing the safe house location for Rhys’s CI who was due to testify against a major dr*g dealer and the CI, his family and his protection were all m*rdered before he could testify so the dr*g dealer went free. Finn was caught with the mayors son Hunter a few years back and instead of coming clean Hunter told everyone that Finn had forced himself on him so he was taken to the police station and Callan bailed him out and took him back to the ranch. Since then all the h*mophobic a*seholes in Dare have been damaging the ranch’s property including poisoning the water supply so a lot of the cattle were k*lled & & Callan has known he’s gay for years’ but knew that his father would never be okay with it so he would tell his father about all the girls he’s been seeing and then would go to a gay bar in the weekend to pick up guys but he chose the wrong guy and then was left bl*ody and half broken in the alleyway after being gang r*ped so he hasn’t been with anyone for years’ and has secretly loved Finn for years and known that Finn has loved him back but doesn’t want to have what happened to the animals to happen to Finn so thinks the best way to keep Finn safe is to not say anything. I’m glad that they decided to life their lives on their own terms and love who they want even if it’s out of the box without caring what the h*mophobic a*seholes of Dare think. I enjoyed meeting Dane and Jax and after the heated look they gave each other at the end of this book is anything to go by their book is going to be explosive. Little Emma was such a wee cutie. I’d definitely recommend this book, series, universe and author to everyone.
My biggest issue is that this is *really* short. At 4.5 hours ~ it’s really more of a novella than a book. Which catapults us into insta-love and info dump territory with events taking place over a 10 day span. I like Cal, Finn, & Rhys, but their backstories and the building of their relationship could have used more development. Most of the conflict was solved in a few minutes of story. I did enjoy the story and we’ll see/hear more of these characters as the Finding Series goes on.
While Finding is it’s own series, some of the Finding characters & events are interconnected with the Escort, Barretti Security, and Protectors series. Visit Sloane Kennedy’s website for a list showing how several of her series tie together and different reading/listening order options. You don’t always have to be familiar with the other books to enjoy them individually, but I really enjoy the entire “world” she has created. My personal preference for reading order is chronological/timing.
Michael Dean’s narration is solid. Cal, Finn, & Rys all have unique voices as do the secondary characters.
Great country/cowboy romance story. Loved it!! So hot too!
Callan, Rhys and Finn were triple the love in this MMM story. Rhys came along at the perfect time to help coax the town of Dare to open their eyes and start learning how to accept any type of relationship. When you first met Rhys, you didn’t think he would be the one to help Finn explore and be the strong support Callan needed to face his fears. But the three of them were able to figure out their differences and find love on Callan’s ranch. This was a great story to start a series.
Hot as hell cowboys, what’s not to love!
It’s unbelievable how fast I’m going through these books but I can’t seem to stop myself! They’re that damn amazing! And my god, I don’t even know where to begin in explaining how hot Finding Home was.
It also had some parts that made you want to cry your eyes out with all the horrors and hurt Finn has experienced. Then you wanted to reach in your tablet and shake Callan forcing him to wake up. And finally, you want to throw your tablet against the wall screaming and raging about the unfairness of Rhys situation.
Thank god I didn’t do that last part because it all worked out in the most amazing way possible, three men who deserved love and to be loved finding it with each other.
