Very predictable. The kind of book I would give to a 6th grader.
Everyone finds their perfect partner, and everything in this little town
is just too perfect.
This book has interesting engaging characters and the story is entertaining. My only complaint would be that there is a lot of background narration of what the two main characters are thinking.
Story line was good, but had very little substance. Every chapter contained the details of making pies and brownies. It was very repetitious and annoying. The writing was very disappointing. I kept reading thinking the writing would get better, but it did not.
This is a feel good quick read. A good book if you like romantic stories.
Enjoyed it very much. Easy reading.
It’s a series, enjoyed each one of the books. Felt like part of the familt
Nice storyline but a little too predictable.
Loved reading about the area. Enjoyed the book and characters. It was an easy read, there wasn’t any real punch with anything going wrong in the lives of the people. It had all happened inn the past and they had overcome problems.
Sam moves to Friday Harbour to start her life over after her divorce from her cheating husband. She meets handyman Jeff when he helps remodel her new business.
A feel good book. Light and happy.
Great characters happy plot. I travel vicariously through books and this was certainly well worth the tead
Everybody is nice…. everybody is happy… the pleasure is in the writing..
There is always hope for a better life
Good read characters and dialog predictable.
I found this book rather tedious. I won’t continue with the series.
Interesting but not a page turner. Way too much about food.
It was a sweet story, but seemed to be mostly about what people were cooking or ordering from takeout, and got to be boring.
Fantastic book. I read the rest of the series one after another.
Easy read, no real surprises in the story but moderately enjoyable.
It was interesting and relaxing reading, although I thought the characters ate too much, too often, and reading about the food they consumed was very boring!
