Loved this book!!!
Throughly enjoyed it.
The author hasn’t got the conversational skills yet, but it is enjoyable reading. I enjoyed getting to know the characters and appreciate the moral standards being held high. People I would invite into my home and want them as friends.
Very pleasant reading
Easy reading
Finding Home was a pretty good read even though it was predictable. Sam, still fragile a year after her divorce, moves to an island near Seattle to purchase Harbor Coffee and Book. Sam is a multi-millionaire since she sold a software company started by her parents, so the move is no burden since she will live in a beach-side mansion and has unlimited funds to redecorate her new shop. And still the reader has to like Sam because she is just so darn nice. The reason I didn’t rate the book higher was because of its unsophisticated style. The author records every single word and interaction Sam has from morning to night. The rader doesn’t have to make any inferences or speculate about what might happen next. Even though the story contains one villainness, her hijinks are so minor as to be insignificant. This is a blah read.
An mature adult story of romance, friendship and knowing one self while overcoming the sadness, loneliness and grief. Well done.
